Just to explain how I THINK this works: The iPhone or iPad detects that it's the first time the Apple ID is used to sign in some apps. Sadly, the device goes into "the weird problem" which cannot be skipped. BUT, if the Apple ID is signed in iTunes on a MacBook, it does NOT go into "the weird problem" and since it signs in successfully, you can now sign in the iPhone or iPad because it will no longer detect that it's the first time using that ID. Like, "Oh, yeah, you've logged in before using this account in iTunes. Sure I'll let you pass now in this iPhone."
