My sibling just started transitioning, and your videos have really helped me learn and understand more about what they're going through, without having to pry and ask too much about things they might be embarrassed by. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!
I'm a trans guy but I enjoy watching your videos because they're a good insight for what to expect when I start T one day. Thank you for putting yourself out there! It has provided encouragement and comfort for me :) btw ENBYS ARE VALID
Thank you so much for all of your videos. It's so hard for nonbinary people trying to find solid information about transitioning on a lower dose, and I have definitely binged yours in preparation for my T journey.
Thank You SO much for making this video. Recently realized that I’m transmasculine and I was kinda struggling with certain things that I want for myself. Personally though I am transmasc, I still identify as a woman and would like to maintain androgyny. It’s been so hard to find videos specifically like this where there’s transmasc people who don’t go all out on T and eventually become FTM (I’m not saying all transmasc people are FTM, just a lot of TH-camrs have moved in that direction). Anyway, I really appreciate the content.
My partner is about to start T, and it's amazing to hear that it was an opportunity for you to grow together!!! I'm looking forward to watching us grow as individuals and together, like you described in your relationship
I moved in with my partner for covid like a little over a year ago and have been going through transition stuff recently, I graduated just recently and I had my first job interview (with a 2nd interview booked) and am now considering T so I share some of that intensity of change with you on your story. I am so overwhelmed but I can't just wait of my feelings, I am apparently figuring myself out now so guess what, it's happening now, even if my life was already eventfull.
I never experienced aggression, but I lift weights every day. If that was taken away, I could certainly see T making me feel agitated that I didn't expel energy.
Hi Meg! When you said you found you were at a spot where you felt happy and wanted to maintain at that level, did you find that hard to do due to the cumulative nature of testosterone? I often wish there was a way to keep like development exactly where it is, with your current 1 pump a day are you still seeing changes and if you did and didn't want them is there an even lower dose like 1 pump every other day or something? Thank you for your videos!!
Yes same here with being 7 months on T at two pumps a day (80 mg) I'm not where I want to be but starting to get there...once I do I'm not sure what to do bc I don't want to regress I want to stay where I'm at
This video was from a while ago, but I'm just watching it now. And just popping in to say that when you're on gel you can't lower to every other day because of the way it absorbs and releases (well you can, but you'll probably feel bad) So, if you take shots the effects of the shot last many days. The half-life is like 8 days (that doesn't mean you have 0 left after 16 days, btw. Anyway) So with weekly or bi-weekly shots you go from about 100% active testosterone to between approximately 55-65%, and then back to 100% on shot day. Which is fine, sounds like a lot, but that sort of change is normal. But gel has a half-life of like 4 hours. It mimics the natural daily hormone cycle pretty closely. So, if you switch to putting on the gel every other day, you're going to have a much bigger swing. This usually results in mood and energy swings that people really don't like. If you want to go to an even lower dose than 1 pump per day, I would see if you can switch to using the gel packets rather than a pump, and using small packets or partial packets (I use half of one every day for example). But continuing daily to maintain consistency.
Hey! I was wondering if you could talk a little bit about how you are gendered by strangers? I think you addressed it in an older video but I was wondering if it has changed since then in terms of whether you are usually gendered male or female by strangers (since it's almost impossible to have people gender you correctly as nonbinary, at this point in time/society--at least that's been my experience). Thank you and hope you are having a great day!! 🧡
Hey i just found your channel and i'm so happy! Your content are very good and informative and i wanted to ask you a question. Could be possible for you to include subtitles in your videos? I have audio processoring disorder and sometimes it's really hard to catch every words, but maybe it could be useful for deaf people too? It's obviously just a suggestion, let me know what you think about that :) have a great day!
question: is it possible to take T in low dose and the effects won't be as obvious? i want to take T but i still live with my parents. i'm aware this is a bad idea lmao, but just curious.
@AceOfHearts 20.25 mg a week or everyday? (I would like to move out and finally get T because I don't want to come out to my grandparents , but maybe if they don't notice it I could start sooner)
Generally speaking, people you are around regularly are less likely to notice slow changes over time. So it seems like you could get away with it for a while. Anyone who sees you less frequently might notice though and say something in front of others. And you never know quite how testosterone will affect you so it's hard to predict how risky it is for you specifically. In particular, voice drops are supposed to get noticeable within a few months. Anyway ,the best thing to do would be to talk to a doctor about low-dose options, but of course, if you are a minor or living with parents, you might not be able to set up your own doctor appointment. Or maybe the doctor wouldn't prescribe you anything if they thought your situation was too precarious.
Question: How did you decide to go on testosterone gel as opposed to shots or patches? Is it more difficult to get a prescription for? I've also heard that it is more expensive than other options, would you say that is true in your experience?

I don't think I've ever seen a trans video without a thumbs down. Props friend.

I’d like to know the same :)

There’s a coupon for Androgel! I get mine for 57 dollars and it’s a 3month supply
