@@TechResearch05 Okay, let's give an example so that all those who are not in Denmark understand or have a little idea of the situation:
The average in Denmark is 388,000DKK per year, which means that every month you get 32,333DKK gross (i.e. your full salary), after taxes are deducted, you get 24,000DK on your hands.
Is my example has a correct idea of the situation ? What do you think about it ...

What about personal income tax for single unmarried person. If he makes 700,000 dk a year. If more than 50 percent of your salary is taxed then what are you left with. Given that you also have high cost of living. 💜
First of all it’s not 50% tax 😁. It comes to 42% for IT individual. Yeah even after this much tax it has very high standard of living with peace.
Phd salary in denmark is 30000kroner before tax. can a couple live on this?

Hi, I’m moving to CPH for postdoc on April. My spouse will join me later and she’s a developer. How difficult would be for her to find a job in IT? I imagine my postdoc salary wouldn’t be enough to survive for a couple haha.. thank you, much appreciated.
Hello, Congrats for moving in here. No that's not true. Here there are people who survive on post doc salary as child education is free, medical is free.Rent is the only big part of your budget. Again it depends on your lifestyle. Regarding finding new job there are some challenges but surely you can find it. Best of luck
