This is actually super helpful for me. I never knew how to actually LOAD a brush, I heard people mention it but I figured they just meant "Get paint on it" rather than a specific technique. Thank you from someone that thought they were pushing in to intermediate painter, but am apparently still very beginner.
I've heard kolinski sable are good, but there are so many brands and things labeled as such that are not. The ones I bought seem to be good so far, they split when dry but when I put paint back on they always come back to a nice point. The big belly is nice too. Bought mine from Amazon at around 6$ a brush I think.
When painting minis, is it better to hold them with a gloved hand, or with a handle device? I sometimes have trouble actually getting places with precision even with two hands due to some minor shake in my hands.
if your hands shake, the devise will shake also. try resting the model on your hand while on the table and see how it goes. in the end is there is no better or worse, is up to each painter's preference
well put together and some good material that I teach in the private lessons I give. I think a video explaining brushing loading for different mediums could do well. It's something I'm asked about quite a bit and if I'm to be honest a video that I could just link would save me hours each month ^^;
Super underrated channel
