@@GalacticTension SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY. just came back to watch this video again, and didn't even remember I'd commented on it, and certainly didn't realize I'd had a reply. My apologies. He was a rescue. He was physically, mentally, and emotionally abused by some people and we rescued him and kept him for about a year and a half while going through legal issues with the previous family he was with. Ultimately, he was nursed back to health, and moved to a permanent bird sanctuary located in South Carolina.
awesome pets, if you have the time and money to spend on them, they need ALOT of stimulation or they can chew/pluck their feathers due to stress/being bored and a bunch of other stuff, also most macaw species are very loud. I have a hahns a distant relative to severe and they are just as noisy!
