Ha...Ha don't make me laugh if one man limb cut down who is getting pain? either body recognize the pain or brain. A machine will stop signalling to that part and it will handled in error code (computer programme). If brain is a mechanism then it has got numerous ways to identify what had happened? Eyes, legs, ear, hands, skin all are doing a good job, so it is clear that brain get the message exactly at the time itself. But if you say no then you have to accept brain activity has got no coordination(means no thinking ability, evaluation) this clearly indicates even your brain doesn't understand what all thinks are going around. These all things are indicating towards one thing that is...
For me it is mind. Sir if you want a correct answer for this limb cut here is it , once mind doesn't agree his present condition, it tries giving impulses to activate the limb, which ultimately result in pain. Most of the ordinary person mind is so disturbed that the level of concentration is nil. That is why all humans are not at the same edge of pain.
