That's not what I'm talking about though. I said if you f2p you'll have to skip SOME characters because of the global speed up schedule. In that case pick who you like and enjoy the game. Don't be a meta slave and skip half the roster though.

@@Emptiness771I tried doing that but with 3 instead of 6 and God was it such a chore, in the end tho im just focusing on 1 account for now (for lighting team) and saving up a ton of BC for Alpha crimson weave.
This video is full of misinformation.
Speaking from a competitive pov (ppc,wz) the difference between SS3 daren and SSS0 is marginal. SS3 is definitely not copium, but rather the main dps of dark team.
Also they only time when Alpha and Balter compete is when Bianca is SS0 and Alpha is SSS+.
Do better research before making claims that affect pulling decions of players while stating "reliable CN sources".
Thanks for the info! I was pretty clear that it was a source *I* consider reliable. It may be wrong, sometimes people can make mistakes and that is why I said that I would be testing it myself right after the statement. I don't test in full detail until global release since I dont play cn. I then make my actual guide videos after confirming what is fact and rumour. I did also say that people should do what they want rather than listening to rumours.
As for alpha vs bianca it was in a single game mode and I put a note in the video though maybe I should have made it more clear, thats on me.
I'm on a skipping mentality myself because I sometimes miss doing dailies, and sometimes weeklies. So I don't have that guarantee most active players have. Especially when meta units are going to come out back to back in the future.
That's different then like I said in my video.
I always hated global players telling you not to pull for a character because he/she gonna get replaced 2 years later like wtf why do they think that person will even play the game for that long and may e he do like this character playstyle and design so yeah

The way Kuro made all characters can be gain for free turn me into collector and dont bother invest into meta as long it's fun (Base S rank and 5*)
Even powercreep are welcome because again, debut characters are free and the game mechanic improved a lot
I only skip 2B because I already have complete physical team and not into Nier
Then finished Nier Automata week ago and regret skipping her in her debut and rerun and cant get her forever
Good video man, i agree with not being a meta slave, and as a f2p im risking hugely, got nanami, got haicma, gonna skip karen but planning on getting noan and then balter, hyperreal and even crimson weave, good thing is that as a new player i still have more than 14 chapters of story and all interludes stories, so i should be able to get them all easily without spending^^.
Also just a tip, around the 1st minute you had maybe the music too high and was difficoult to keep up with what you said, hope that feedback helps^^
Noan was pretty boring to play in my opinion and one I would skip but try him out in trial stages and make your own opinion! Thanks for the feedback, sometimes volume levels get out of sync and I just have to do my best to make it work :c

why would you skip any character in this game? The great thing about pgr is that you can use about every character in the game to beat stuff and you can build any type of team however you want. Im pulling for Karen to have a good dark team
Look, there are many types of player, we know.
But if you're new or returnee, most people will agree that u should get *any* chara to fill your roster to complete as many event as possible ASAP.
Meta can shift the game, sure, but did your current roster is enough to, say, complete Babel or Norman war? Because if not, you might be hurting your BC income in long run.
IF you already good on that front, however, you can really choose whether u r collector or meta chaser as f2p/light spender.
So think twice, or thrice, before you decide.
Cuz i've done goof & planning for long run myself.
I'm skipping her because i want Bianca skin, and i dont really care about top scores. I may just pull for her during Lamia patch with standard pulls.
If PGR released simultaneously, like there's no advance server, like you can't plan at all. F2P's gonna be struggling 😂

I'm skipping hyperreal lee getting s rank ayla since she'll be free then focusing on getting lightning alpha. all others after lightning alpha are skips until amp no21.
Global mentality is so bad regarding skipping. Individual should decide for themselves and not be tempted by others voices. Karen at SS with Sig is what you need, shred duration double of Camui (he needs to ult to even shred off-field) means on competitive modes camui already loses out. Essentially cost wise you are just chasing Sig for karen, both being SS for free from paincage should not even be an argument in the first place.

Sorry but i would rather have a Alter Bianca SS3, Hyperreal SS3, Alpha weave SS3 and Lamia (Dark Dps) which are meta Attackers than getting a small upgrade in Dark team.

When you find your meta DPS lacking because of weak tank shred it is what it is.

Tbh the fb community is a small portion of the whole global community, sounds like its a healthy community which is good. Lots of dumb talk about skipping everywhere, I even showed posts in the video of it if you watched it..
i don't think that PGR is FTP friendly beaches it's really hard to get black cards and need the character on more than s rank

The only characters that I've never regretted not skipping is stigmata and cw

The thing is... I want older characters as I just play recently. I skip Nanami cos I spend all BC for Vera on launch.
But damn... Looking at Hyperreal really makes me feel I've been skipping good member. And now Liv Empyrea banner comes out gives me dillemma. As I also planning getting Bianca for Rosetta that I already get in Freebie.

Been playing for half year now and I am skipping Karen, even though she looks quite interesting and has a powerful res shred. Cause I lack BC for 2 new frames, and with anniversary banner I can finally get S tank Vera.
Maybe I could have manage it if I did not pull for Haicma weapon last patch, but I liked her and we all know that this is the only thing that matters - playing characters that you like and not caring much about meta. Not to say that frame power does not matter, it feels bad to have you favorite in bottom power ranks.
Yeah, best feeling is when waifu is meta.

Typically i've tried to get at least a copy of every construct, but I am admittedly skipping for hyperreal only because he and nanamech are my two favorite characters and I want them at best investment with little spending. It sucks to go past balter, but I am at least going to try and get her after. My teams aren't 100% meta but they are decently close so I can get by since I play a lot more for fun than meta and dont try to be top ranker.

I have never been in the skipping mentality because I have always been in the "I might not even still be playing this game when that other character comes out" mentality. I have been playing this game for over a year and I still like it plenty but let's get real everyone will eventually get burn out of the cycle "log in to do warzone and pain cage, burn your serum for event currency to buy the memories for the new character, every day, rinse and repeat" I rather enjoy the game at its finest playing the characters I do like and/or find fun to control while I still can. that's why my dark team is Vera Selena and XXI (soon to be replaced by Karen only because I don't enjoy controlling XXI as much as I thought I would), the game suddenly became a lot more fun again after I kicked out Luna for Selena, Imagine that. my lighting team is Dawn, Vera and Liv, because Dawn is just so fun to play. I pulled for Qu and... she isn't so fun to control... but she is waifu so it is nice to use her from time to time. etc. you don't need META to clear content and You will never be able to compete in leaderboards without spending hundreds of dollars into the game, which I will never do cause I won't spend money on gambling out of principle

I have been playing for the fourth month, and the game is too hard for me, even though I am not a free-to-play player. I just can't beat even one stage from Norman 6 because I don't have teams for all elements.
Norman is end game content for people who want extra challenge, don't worry about it too much its not for everyone!

I have just started this game and was told to go for physical, was also told to go for liv luminance and Rosetta rigor from the selector boxes but then was told bianca was just straight up op she is without any other characters lmao. Get bianca, make sure you have fun, its a game after all fun is why you play. You can get liv from a starter s rank selector and rosetta from a free selector coming up in bianca's patch and now you have the whole team. I'll cover the free selector next patch when its out.

Being a new player who doesn't have liv empyrea, it is a bigger priority to get her in the anni banner over karen when i have kamui. I would have liked to pull karen, but having a cope fire team with nanamech and empy is better than having a redundant S kamui. Especially when i cannot buy the monthly pass because of region restrictions, so resources are scarce.
Ps. Does balter NEED her Sig, or better to get it for empyrea?
I'm a collector 1st, but also a casual player (skipping up to 3 patches) and I've gotten my Alpha, Bianca, Vera. I'm on my way to save for Alpha 2, Bianca 2 and probably pull Lee too.
Played on both JP n Glb. Got all characters (except 2B in glb cuz i don't like nier team at all) in both acc so i don't see any reason why ppl skipping just for meta while the game literally generous enough to give you all characters within their patches despite faster schedule for both servers. Characters can be SS for free and it's enough for many characters. Weapon wise? I have both alpha n plume using their signature weapons on both acc, so even that still within F2P reach for pulling characters and their weapons, except weapon wise you can't get them all but character wise, you can.
You can't get everyone f2p. Monthly pass is not f2p.
@@broku221 I never mentioned monthly pass tho? I didn't even pay for anything in this game yet i have all characters (with exception 2B in glb like i said cuz i don't like nier team). Difference is that i'm a Day 1 player in glb, while in JP i played a few days after alpha banner drops, which somehow i still able to get all characters.

Luna, her SS is basically a 50% damage increase for her core passive.
Luna she's a DPS after all nanamech is strong but she's mainly for support and shredding fire res
@@vost2916 bro I have SS nanamech she's amazing but his main DPS in dark team is Luna so he's not balancing things out by having overpower fire team and a weak dark team
At the current time, luna. Nanami will be qte bot for lee and liv soon and does not need ss but will do better with it. Luna will need to carry dsrk team for at leadt a year until lamia.

i have one account that skipped plume to get luna. and have my second account that got plume but skipped luna. this way i can save up BC with monthly BC card to get sig weap.
but this makes weak account. i miss like maybe 1k-3k BC per patch? but at least am guaranteed 90% of all weekly task BC.
only recommend it when you got time for alt account.

One think that's good abt the people in global telling me to skip someone is that it makes me want to pull for that character even more lol
It has been that way for me since genshin (pull the characters that the meta slaves tell me to skip) cuz it's honestly how wrong they end up in games where their not afraid to shake up the meta

Kamuis ult wont work with lamia so selena and karen are lamia team. Play how you like though, as long as you can clear the content and are having fun.

Heya, I have a question as a returning player.
I sadly have to skip Dark Karenina because I kinda quit the game for a while and I only have like 30 pulls max. I've been hearing that there's a S rank selector on the Bianca: Abystigma patch, so I was wondering if that's true and if it is, what units are available from it?
All S ranks up to Luna. Daren isnt on any selectors atm, but there is a special standard banner event in cn for lamia's patch, where you can select the next S rank you get from it for a one time only special

You'll need rosetta and liv for bianca which is what the S selector is for.
I’ve been able to slightly keep up with pulls and weapons. A lot of it relies on pure luck of course. I myself have been playing since day 1 and I am still missing a lot of characters as a f2p. Some of my teams consist only of A ranks or just 1 S rank unit. I am a super tryhard so I am able to score very high using B and A ranks on modes. This game is possible to keep up with the meta without skill issue or spending. You all can do it if you mald enough, trust me. I also keep up with meta players and whales with nothing but SS being my highest S ranks on any given team.
Mvp right here. You can get most of the character roster f2p though with good planning.
Man I'm glad I just pull for who I like and yeah I don't have a lot of characters I want due to taking a year break but I know I'll get them eventually.

Was easy for me since I recently re-started when nanamimecha came out. I don't even have tenebrion and I don't really like his gameplay either. And COME ON Karenina's SPEEN TO WIN? The monster hunter world hammer main in me IS CRYING OUT TO SPEEEEEEEEEEN~
Luck aside I'm debating pulling for Vera Garnet cause I also like her gameplay from doing the Selena challenge thing. I hit pity pulling for plume XD... since I used my S rank selectors for liv luminance and rosetta rigor after my first 40 pity was liv empy. I have 15k left to guarantee BiancAlter. But I will probably have to just suck it up and roll with just my fire and dark teams as is until I get Bianca and Lee Hyperreal. Watanabe is doing me just fine with Vera and now that I have Darenina it's quite fun.

3:58 Actually, people saying its cope because even with fully built dark team, Warzone is still tanky as fuck so mostly you cant even kill wave 8. BUT seriously, EVERYONE are having the same issue as you, all of them are coping with this even SSS+ players felt the tankiness of the warzone mobs. So Cope for everyone, no worries.

I am f2p, have tenebrion SS+ 6*weapon and 21 SSS, but still I will pull for Karen even if she catch dust on my box. I play this game to have fun and for collection (I want to collect all units) units than more playing for meta and I like to play with the new shiny toy. Continue with your great work ❤
I literally want every characters in the game....but because I'm broke. I have to skip some of them BUT I'm planning to get them all if they get rerun and when i have enough BC from farming

Skip for now, because my target is bianca, lee ss3, alpha. And i got some news that we can select S rank character from standar banner up to 21 feral in lamia patch i think and that banner always get updated in the future, and that is one time only
S kamui + 5* weapon vs S karen scire + 5?* weapon, which one was better? im too broke rn, only have 10k bc and my pity at 40 on debut banner xd

Yeah this is stupid, atleast grap some character first until you doing good for playing trough 1 year cn server gap. If they always skip, then don't play, cn will awlays release newer meta character, like luna already got powercreep by new lamia
It's a cycle they're going after. The amount of time you save, is nearly as equal to the amount it will take to get powercrept or even more. It's just preference honestly. Stick to one, then work on the next if you decide to move forward with a new team.

im pulling karen to get her ss3 down the line my bc left to get the attackers and there weapons 1st then I'll work on supports/amps & tanks slowly I rather have a new character to play around with and then I can still use my current meta teams that already

I don't have enough for karenina, and i'd rather save for balter and her weapon eve if it's only SS as well. Selena is already SSS with two weapon resonances so Lamia will work (half) properly when she comes out or if I get karenina from standard banner select someday
I think they add a permanent 100% rate up banner that lets you pick an S rank and A rank up to No. 21 amp. Not entirely sure on that though.

My plane:get karen for my dark team get rosseta from abystigma patch,skip abystigma,skip till lee then get lee skip CW because in july 2024 we will have a 100% selector gacha with every character till then then I will get abystigma echo is free so then I will have a full fire,dark and physical team in lamia patch we will get 100% s rank selector from the STANDARD BANNER so I will be getting CW from there
I've counted this plane under the situation of needing to go to 60 pulls for every character

Skipping abystigma and cw on their debut is a dumb move, why would you skip if the game gives u enough bc for each S rank. The only skippable units if u are f2p are Un and farmable S rank(capricio, ayla kaleido, alisa)

@@MintpickerNo.71 in July 2024 we will get a 100% s rank banner I will get abystigma from there and in lamia patch the standard banner will have the same 100% a rank for one unit where I will be getting CW I'm doing this because the only two teams I have rn is fire and dark team so focusing on what I'm having rn is better for then I will get these characters later after I build Thier teammates (rosseta and Alisa) and CW only need QTE slaves but I will be broke after getting lee hyperreal so that's why I'm skipping her to get her for semi free in lamia patch
@@pivad1388 I will get them later in amp.21 patch there will be a 100% s rank banner where I will get abystigma and in lamia patch I can get CW from standard banner it's not because they are bad or I don't like them but I'm limited to how much I can play the game so I miss on a lot of events, dailies and weeklies so making a plane to get everything in the end you can get every single characters in PGR by either having a lot of money or a lot of patience and I don't have money so I think you know why now
Sounds like you did the math and have a good plan to get everyone since f2p can't have all characters in global due to the sped up schedule.
I wish there was a set of guides titled something like "Meta but no mald guide to PGR", gacha gamers seem to defualt to either meta uber ales or wifu>meta.
There is a sane place, where you get meta constructs and the occasional non meta unit, invest enough to make each do her job properly and enjoy the game.
Legit bro, thats my whole channel. I usually explain meta but advise for fun. Up to people what choice to make then. I normally play the balanced road.
I don't wanna skip karen. But i also don't wanna miss adstigma/hyperreal/crimson weave. And since there release is one after another, hopefully i get everyone of them.

So now let me remind you something, Chinese, Korean and Japanese people pay a ton for gatcha games, its your money and you can do whatever you want with it but in the global pov most peopl think its too damn stupid to spend do much money a gatcha game.

you can f2p pgr in cn and get every character. The only reason you cant in global is the quicker schedule to catch up with cn. If you have monthly pass A which is like 5usd a month you can get every single character.
I could have enough to get karen if i didn’t pull on weapon banner up to pity just to get Qu signature(not nanami’s not selena but Qu lol) game really wants me to play kowlong team especially when i got pulao signature while i was only aiming for a 5* one
As a player since launch with a few off time and not a perfect control of bc I am quite satisfied of my account( only miss alpha and s karen )
Btw my plan is to dump everything into karen banner hoping for early copy ( aka building pity for bianca)
Thats fair, I would say that its not worth any 6 star weapon banner for bad/mis characters especially at the cost of good characters. 2 weapon pity with only 80% chance is 1 100% character pity

I'm probably in one of the worst positions possible. I had to miss Nanami because I returned in her patch, so I was low on BC. Now with Karenina, I Vera Garnet, Chrome Glory, and Liv Empyrea that I need to get from anniversary banner due to missing them as well.

I just started playing this game during the PC client started, managed to pull Nanami Star thanks to rerolls. And yes I noticed I don't have enough black cards to get guaranteed 60 rolls on new characters yet. I don't know maybe because I just started, so I'm not efficient enough yet to farm the black cards? I definitely have to skip some and plan it better to get the character I really want.

What is the best way for a new player (started 4 days ago) to build ones roster? From my begginer I got an ice S lucia. Currently I'm running a full dark team witth 21, watanabe and Vera A ranks.

This is exactly why I'm not skipping Karenina even though I have Tenebrion w/sig weapon. Her gameplay to me is more interesting than bestgirl Kimochi Yokatta. My main team is dark team, no matter what people say. Competitive wise,yeah I can stand toe to toe with some, but I know it's not enough against whales or dolphins. Dark team was always my focus, and I'll do everything within my power to keep dark team updated. Then I also have NieR for physical. I also have lightning team, I'm slowly working on fire just to get everything set for ice. I'm in the long con, I plan to stick a while so i take what I can get from the meta and take it with a grain of salt; figuratively and literally.

Hey guys, quick question, i plannin on pulling S Karen and have enough for her sig weapon & upcoming character. Do you think its better to pull her sig or save for other character sig?
Then save up the character's weapon stays there forever so it's better to get more powerful character sigs weapon specially that if she isn't ss3 she won't deal that much dmg so you are using her for either having fun or for QTE which yeah 25% reduce dark res is better than 15% but it's not gonna flip your account upside down like getting other characters sigs

@@syzzwnariff well these are the new gen attacker there sig is a must for them but it depends more on what teams do you have of you have a full physical team (which you can get because rosseta is free and farmable and the new physical amp will be free after a year) go for bianca sig and give lee a five star weapon until you have left over BC to get his weapon if you have fire team go for lee and give bianca the 5 star weapon while alpha is more of a solo character so you want her sig anyway

I try my best to not skipping, at least for CUB, I have to overcome my habit for too much spent BC at the same time

Skipping Scire, pulling Glory in 100% anniversary banner, pulling Abystigma, pulling Hyperreal, pulling Feral Scent.
That’s pretty much all I know. I got a little frivolous by getting Haicma and SS’ing her, but her design is awesome and I didn’t have a single developed Un, which made feel annoyed about not being able to optimally compete in some game modes.
Ss is free and haicma was only 2500bc so thats a good deal over all

skiping s rank omns should not be a thing in pgr, cuz new s rank mean new meta team

A good reason is that most of the characters that you're gonna skip will be coming back in 100% event banners so skipping them for focusing on your main teams is acceptable as long as you're gonna get them when they come back
There is no need for anything above ss, it makes no sense to skip characters for that.
The problem with telling people to not skip Darenth they will missed out on gen2 stuff and u kinda need meta cons for getting more resources like voucher and bcs in harder content
Not true, if you can't save enough for bianca in 3 patches you have done something very wrong. I did however cover that in the video, if you Have to skip at some point as f2p it's understandable.
Skip characters, then complain the game is too hard cuz you dont have optimal teams. Bonus complaint, take a break from a patch, come back for a unit you like. have low BC because you missed out on an entire patch worth of BC, dont have enough to buy unit you like, cry. Saw alot of that happening for nier team and i couldnt help but laugh. I dont think this game has a catch up mechanic that could help you if you did take a break. But if your a day 1 player. takeing a patch long break will wreck your BC amounts so hard. You might as well hard quit because the pain of not having enough bc for your next unit, let alone being flat broke until the next patch is gonna sink and sting alot.
