I had seen your last one got blocked, it was a real surprise this is very unusual for that video, I thought she isn't gonna do a new one. But I'm glad you did ! Su-metal has amazing pipes, she got even better over time. :-) Her singing is the reason Babymetal exists at all. You'd think little girls and metal wouldn't work. Their sub-genre is literally called: Kawaii-metal, aka cute (adorable)-metal. And it really doesn't work on paper, but they make it work ! They are unique. This was December 2013, her 16th birthday. I would suggest the next song to be: BABYMETAL - Rondo Of Nightmare (With Mischiefs of God Intro) Live Budokan Black Night 2014
autohmae 👊❤️☺️I saw how much everyone as a whole really liked it! Then I eased up... and said ok.. TH-cam is NOT taking my only BabyMetal video! So, let’s see if this one stays? I watched this and the commitment alone made me a believer!
Believe it! Their management is rough in that regard. You can do the link and sync if you like. Thank you for both videos though. You are going to fall deep down the fox hole soon but it's a wonderful ride. Babymetal is pure joy=)
first of all thanks for doing this & sorry your last video get blocked, luckily i've seen that video & i'm glad you pick the right song to react,..Gong & neck brace in MV is a tribute to Yoshiki (Pianist & Drummer) from X-Japan,..for many of us Su-Metal is a Queen of Metal & already become legend in BabyMetal lore,..this show celebrated her 16th birthday & now at the age 22 she's much improved & i believe she'll keep getting better bcoz she really loved & enjoyed what she's doing,..
Hi Kristin! Awesome reaction! Sorry to hear about your Road of Reaction video being taken down, I saw it and it was a great reaction too! This show was called "Legend 1997" as that was Su's (lead singer) birth year, it was her 16th birthday show. There was also a "Legend 1999" for Yui and Moa's 14th birthdays, a "Legend S" and a "Legend M" for Su and Moa's 20th both in their respective hometowns. There was a show played in Yui's hometown which would have been "Legend Y" but she had to leave the group last year due to health reasons. "Headbanger!" is in my top 3 favorite BABYMETAL songs. It's about a girl going to her first metal concert on her 15th birthday. It's a special song because during Yui and Moa's birthday shows Su will pass the mic to the birthday girl so she can sing the lead, and that's the only time that ever happens. "With the legendary long black hair gorgeously disordered, this crazy blooming flower will soon fruitlessly disappear. Now the time has come. I no longer hesitate. I tightly hold my discount railway tickets. To the east, to the west, to the south, to the north. Today I rush to the very front of stage center. On the left side, on the right side, standing up still, leaning back, jumping toward the stage, leaning over the fence, rolling over the crowd, and then all deeply headbanging. This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget. All the crybabies, get out of here! It'll never come again and it goes by so fast. I etch in my heart this special night of my fifteen." This show was in Dec 2013 and Su was 16, while Yui and Moa were 14. Now Su is 21 (22 in Dec) and Yui and Moa are 20.
Great reaction ! Thank you for that. That is very weird that your last video was blocked. It was Road of Resistance, right? Lots of reactors do that one and it rarely gets blocked. I'm not sure why you were singled out. The whole copyright thing is stupid. Not only should they not block your video, they should pay you for giving the band free promotion.
Jeff Schreifels 👊❤️👏😆 Jeff! Thankyou!! I’m telling you I’m the mistreated step-child on TH-cam... but it’s ok 👍 as long as I know you guys see & believe the obstacles I overcome ... I’m happy to do more work 🙌💯

LOL!! Su probably sings ON the treadmill! They go a solid 60-90 minutes per set and many times back-to-back nights. I'm a 57yo metalhead and 40 yr guitarist and Babymetal is who I took my daughters for their first real concert. The are (were) the baddest, most professional "stage kids" I've ever seen! From their beginning to now, they've never failed to deliver! Shocking RoR got blocked! Might need a link and sync... try a Su solo and a Kami band expose intro... The question is who was Pikachu that has being asked for years. I think he 🦊 might not even know .sorry to hear about the block it was like this a great reaction from you . Welcome to the One . Hope you do more ,link and sync might be good option the Babymetal community are used to it . The fans will supply you with good links just do a countdown and dont pause. 🤘😁🤘
Steve Biko 👊❤️☝️😮 Steve... forgive me.. I have never heard of such a thing? My mind is blown rt now!! I’m gonna have to research how to do that? It SOUNDS SUPER FUN!! Thankyou for taking the time to comment!
That's strange, Road of Resistance gets reacted to a lot, and I have never seen it get taken down. I hope you have better luck this time! This is another video I love for the crowd. Japanese BABYMETAL crowds are incredible, you don't see a single person slacking off! This was recorded in 2013, so the girls were 16 and 14 at the time. Now they are 21 and 20. If you are interested in a current song, perhaps check out "Pa Pa Ya" (th-cam.com/video/oO7Y8NsnkRg/w-d-xo.html) or "Shanti Shanti Shanti" (th-cam.com/video/w5AlEavdipA/w-d-xo.html). The former is an official MV and tends to get blocked, though, while the latter is usually OK (the official MV gets released tomorrow).
Another great reaction and so sorry about the other one getting blocked (Not Amused). Watching their videos is one way that helps me feel better when I'm feeling down, their obvious sheer joy doing what they love (these girls all started very young wanting to be performers) just brings a smile every time I watch them. There's some good suggestions on how to get around the blocks if you want. Amuse is shooting themselves in the foot by blocking reactions, like others I was introduced to them by a reaction and since them I've purchased their albums and pre-ordered their latest. I think pausing like you do should have prevented the block, so not sure how they found it. You should be able to contest the block and get it released.
glen kelley 👊❤️Glen.. Thankyou I will! I’m so appreciative of how sweet and kind you all are! This is definitely something I want to be a part of ☺️🙌 and this will be my first contest... and I’m gonna do it 😃👊💯
Thank you so much for doing this song. Can't believe they blocked ROR, it's like the most reacted and loved song by BabyMetal. Management can sure get a bit anal at times. No two Baby Metal song is alike. They also have solo ballads by Su that are intended to give the dancers and audience a break and there are songs just by the two side dancers to give SU a break. There are crazy metal rap songs like Pa Pa Ya feat. F. Hero and crazy pop tunes like Gimme Chocolate. There is also Baby Metal jamming with Rob Halfod from Judas Priest to Breaking the Law in which the two dancers play the guitar and jam out. And then there is The One, the love letter to their fans.
It's crazy to see three teenage girls who barely scratch 5 feet tall hold a crowd of thousands of people in the palms of their hands. People like to put this band down, but they are for real. Those girls know what they're doing up there.
Sorry about the copyright troubles. I'm really not sure what their criteria for enforcement is. It just seems arbitrary as this point. Thanks for sticking with us, though. I'm really glad that you're getting into bands like Yes, and Rush (isn't it funny how much Rush wanted to be Led Zeppelin early on?), as well as BabyMetal. It helps with a well-rounded palette. :) For future reference, the Japanese language doesn't have silent e. The vowel sounds (which are consistent, unlike being variable in English) are: a as in car, i as in sing, u as in Su, e as in red, o as in go. Stick with those, and you'll always be correct. Don't worry, most reactors seem to get it wrong, and say "megitsoon", when it should be "megitsuneh". :D
@Kristin Kali - You're very welcome. I'm happy to help. It can definitely take some getting used to if English is foremost in your mind and on your tongue. I got them to stick in my mind by going through the actual sounds like a chant (it flows surprisingly well once you get it going). Something to keep in mind when looking at Japanese words, and helps what you're seeing make so much more sense, is that they're composed of syllables, rather than all individual letters as in English. Me gi tsu ne. Or in the case of English done for Japanese phonetics: Be bi me ta ru. :D I'm going to explain this because it will matter for a certain song. ;) There are instances of u being de-voiced, but I'm not going to torture you with more specifics than the two most common (and constant) instances because the others aren't really necessary. There's _desu_ (which can be used in place as a general "to be" "it is" verb, and even informally indicate "I am" ), and _-masu_ which is the polite closing for non-past tense, affirmative verbs (tabemasu = to eat, tabemasen = to not eat). Anyway, the point is that you don't pronounce the u at the end of desu or masu when used in that way, so they sound like _des_ or _mas._ In the case of a diphthong of o directly followed by u, the u is not distinctly pronounced (it just kind of follows with the breath). So, in a word like Satou or Mutou or even Toukyou (which we know as Tokyo), it will sound like it would without the u. To u ki yo u (this uses a small form _yo_ which combines with the previous syllable to become kyo). I'm sure I've bludgeoned you enough with Japanese, but I figured you'll at least be getting some use out of that bit of knowledge. :D
This isn't their live singing. This is their studio album mixed with crowd noise. They can only do that because their timing is so precise. The metal band that plays for them is very professional. The girls as well.
Thanks for choosing to react to BABYMETAL, they're amazing! As someone who is new to the group, I thought I'd give you and your followers a little background on them. BABYMETAL is a Japanese Kawaii Metal group consisting of (for the most part) SU-METAL on lead vocals, YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL on backing vocals/dancing, or "SCREAM AND DANCE" as they like to call it. I say 'for the most part' as Yui & Moa have a few songs that they do as duets without Su and Su has a few songs she does as solos whilst Yui & Moa take a well deserved break. They were formed in 2010 as part of the idol group Sakura Gakuin, before touring on their own in 2011 and have gone from strength to strength. They started singing to backing tracks with actors in skeleton suits pretending to play instruments (known as BABYBONES) but soon incorporated the Kami Band into their concerts, bringing them in full time at the end of 2013. The Kami Band consists of some of Japan's premier musicians on rotation based on availability. The most popular configuration consisting of Takayoshi Ohmura and Mikio Fujioka on guitar with Leda Cygnus as stand-in, BOH on bass and Aoyama Hideki on drums. These are the people you will see most often in videos. Since the untimely passing of Mikio at the end of 2017 they have enlisted the talents of Isao Fujita on guitar. At the end of 2018 YUIMETAL left the band because of health problems and in 2019 there are 3 girls named AVENGERS that will take her place in a rotating manner. Below is a list of some of their best performances that I hope you will consider for future reactions. Should you decide to do more BABYMETAL reactions in the future, you should be aware that TH-cam will block almost all videos that incorporate audio. The best way round this is to mute the video and provide a link that we can open in a new window and sync with yours. Just give us a countdown before you start playing it. The BABYMETAL fandom is very used to this way of doing things. ===== BABYMETAL ALBUM BABYMETAL DEATH (Legend 1997) th-cam.com/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/w-d-xo.html Megitsune (Legend 2015) streamable.com/v7w18 Gimme Chocolate!! Michael Farmer ok! Thankyou! I won’t heart your video so I can come back and find your comment faster when I have a chance to react to Band Maid! I appreciate you! ☺️👍
The copyright enforcement is so arbitrary. Plenty of reaction channels get away with it fine. Are you up to date with your sacrifices to the TH-cam gods?
That’s sucks you got yanked,?lots of other reactions for that one still up. Unfortunately their management co. Does a lot of purging, still glad you were introduced as they are a lot of fun . True professionals

You have to be really careful while doing japanese music reactions, specially in the idol/anti-idol scene, because they are really stricted. Amuse inc. (Babymetal agency) is a pain in the butt.
Why does everyone think that Sui controls the crowd.... are people blind!! Yui & Moa do that...who do you think is running out there and interacting with the audience... and giving back up vocals. . Sui commands the stage but not the audience.

This isn't their live singing. This is their studio album mixed with crowd noise. They can only do that because their timing is so precise. The metal band that plays for them is very professional. The girls as well.
cool

There is another group "Band - Maid" that is an all girl band from Japan need to watch the video called "Thrill"
Remember the second half of the name is Maid.
Michael Farmer ok! Thankyou! I won’t heart your video so I can come back and find your comment faster when I have a chance to react to Band Maid! I appreciate you! ☺️👍
@@KristinKali Band Maid is an excellent band and along with BabyMetal are the two hot bands from Japan right now.
You can see the video frame per frame if you press " . " and " , " to go backward.
The copyright enforcement is so arbitrary. Plenty of reaction channels get away with it fine. Are you up to date with your sacrifices to the TH-cam gods?
RogertheLemur 👊❤️😂😂🤔 No! Oh no! I couldn’t find any rare sheep 🐑 to sacrifice to the TH-cam Gods! Lmao! I’m just the “unlucky one”
That’s sucks you got yanked,?lots of other reactions for that one still up. Unfortunately their management co. Does a lot of purging, still glad you were introduced as they are a lot of fun . True professionals

MarkB 1181 👊❤️Thankyou MarkB... I cant believe it either?!? Well I’m not easily detoured! I like metal that’s hard af & fun!! So imma stick around ☺️🙌💯
@@KristinKali 👊❤💪 you bet!
You have to be really careful while doing japanese music reactions, specially in the idol/anti-idol scene, because they are really stricted. Amuse inc. (Babymetal agency) is a pain in the butt.
Su metal is great!
Asbestos came to my mind as well yikes
Why does everyone think that Sui controls the crowd.... are people blind!! Yui & Moa do that...who do you think is running out there and interacting with the audience... and giving back up vocals. . Sui commands the stage but not the audience.
I think you can just put a filter over the video and reupload it, right? A simple transparency is usually enough. I know I've seen others do it.
