    Can it loop or trigger vocals? It would be great to have pads with samples you made on the fly that you could trigger back.

    If I designed those I would have wired those magnetically on the sides so they could interconnect like blocks wirelessly. Several people have showed this kind of tech at shows already.

    • @RoeJogan
      @RoeJogan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sadly... if you did designed them like this.... you would go bankrupt trying to push this tech. I love the idea of magnets..

    • @RoeJogan
      @RoeJogan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Synth Cat I mean in general.... if your mixing synths and stuff from a different tech era. It means your target group needs to be heavily invested in the idea of using misplaced tech. Interconnecting gear like BLOCKs but in these larger formats.... makes no sense if everyone places/setups their gear differently

    • @RoeJogan
      @RoeJogan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Synth Cat As long as the does not increase... for these specifically.... novel idea... I think its just more practical to keep things standardized

      @Synth Cat Totally agree...Kind of like how 4/4 music is......

    For anyone interested in these it's worth noting that the T-8 is not a stripped down TR-808 but rather a mash up of TR-909, TR-808 and TR-606. It has instruments from each. For example the kick is 909. It cannot do an 808 kick which would have been nice

    Music can now sound like it’s produced by a real band, with a real drummer, real keyboard player and lead singer (vocoder permitted) lead guitarist even. When it amounts to nothing more than a middle age tech geek fiddling about with an incredible array of music tech in his garden shed in suburbia I’m kinda excited that I can try the same but then mightily put off at the sad thought of my son asking ‘what the hell you doing dad??’ 😂

    • @some.person
      @some.person ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you'll be fine :) I know 0 music theory and I still enjoy my roland s-1. I think it's more important to know how to use a synth. If you've ever created your own patches or played around with a software synth, the basic principles are the same, so you'll know what to do for the most part. The AIRA's are tiny though, so expect some menu diving
