If you wonder why there’s a whole bunch of ww2 veterans at the party, it’s because Steve invited them since that really all the guys he has left from his time.
Captain America's catchphrase in the comics is "Avengers Assemble", so at the very end that is what he was about to say. It was a tease to the comics fans who had been waiting forever for that phrase to be said in the MCU.
It s not hard to deem ultron as a psychopath for attempting to kill human race. To be fair, he was born in the internet. I can hardly blame him for wanting to kill them after everything he saw that involved humans.
If you're wondering what Vision did to Ultron when he said "you shut me out", he blocked Ultron's connection to the internet. That meant he could no longer transfer his consciousness to any new bodies, and he was stuck in the form he was already in.
Banner delivers one of my favorite lines of his in this movie, "Oh you think I'm angry? I could choke the life out of you without changing a shade." That's cold af and I'm here for it.
Banner had anither cold line. Vision asked him what woyld he do [if he got out of pocket]. Banner gave him that cold stare that said volumes! Meaning, "Ill have the "Big Guy" rip you a new one."😱☠️
Tony doesn't get rid of all his suits. The Clean Slate Protocol gives people the wrong idea. If you listen carefully to the dialogue at the end of Iron Man 3, Tony says "The suits are...", Pepper says "A distraction", Tony says "OK, I'll cut down". The Clean Slate Protocol destroys all his suits to show Pepper how much he cares, but he never says he is going to stop.
@@marwig87 Right. There was the original big, clunky suit from the cave, then the silver suit, and then the red and gold suit. That's Mark 1, 2, and 3 from IM 1. Then he has a new suit or two (three?) from IM2, and then another suit or two from Avengers. This takes us up to about Mark 7. Now Tony is suffering from PTSD and in his psychological state, he really starts obsessively building more and more suits, so in that brief period of time, he gets all the way up to Mark 42. He destroys all these suits in part because these were made in his traumatized state - notice how Mark 42 kept falling apart. Any engineer will tell you that you can't do your best work out of obsession, with no sleep, and no time taken to evaluate. But now that he's recovered (or at least recovering), he can calm down and think more rationally and build a better suit, taking the time to do it right.
Tony actually takes a page from Ivan Vanko's book. The Iron Legion are drones, not suits. Tony, of course, thinks he can do it better. And also keep his own suit, but make it modular, so he can upgrade or enhance it (aka Hulkbuster suit) as needed, instead of making dozens of unique or specialty suits.
My favorite comedic exchange in this movie is during the part where Fury appears in a Helicarrier: Cap: Fury, you son of a bitch. Fury: Ooh-hoo, you kiss yo mother with that mouth? 😅😂🤣☠
Points often missed: - Clint Barton's baby video. His onesy had his name on it "Nathanial Pietro Barton". Nathanial for Natasha, and Pietro for Wanda's brother Pietro. - Thanos created & activated the A.I. He was monitoring the entire thing through Ultron's perspective. Loki was plan A for Thanos - Failed. Ultron was Plan B for Thanos - also Failed. That's when Thanon said "Fine, I'll do it myself" - NOT REALLY EXPLAINED WELL IN THE MOVIE - Tony's Ultron network was based off of Tony's mental engrams. When the A.I. absorbed Tony's Ultron network it absorbed his engrams - hence the similar personality to Tony Stark.
Your newest Avenger is called The Vision - because he was the result of Thor's vision of the Infinite Stones coming together to wreck havoc and because the body was Ulton's vision of his future incarnation. His personality is made up of elements of Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, JARVIS, Ultron, and the Mind Stone itself.
The bit with Bruce’s face “accidentally” landing in Natasha’s cleavage was definitely Joss Whedon’s idea, because he did the same thing again with the Flash and Wonder Woman when he took over directing “Justice League.” Probably the “hide the zucchini” line, too. You’ll notice that he wasn’t asked to do any more Marvel movies after this one. 38:44 Yes, that was the same tech who refused to launch the helicarriers in “CA: The Winter Soldier” with a gun to his head. Nick Fury remembers loyalty and guts.
40:24 Cap has a unique fighting style because Chris Evans is skilled in dancing and he did most of his stunts himself. They actually had to make him do almost all the stunts because the stunt doubles couldn't move exactly like he did. So if you watch the BTS, you'll see Chris Evans doing the stunts with others' stunt doubles and some of the others not on the set because their characters are added in post-production😂
Often derided but this is one of my favorites. For some reason I absolutely LOVE the human/downtime of superheroes and how they live in the normal world. So the party and farm scenes are just great
The whole Age of Ultron storyline in the comics was VERY differant to what we got in this film. In this storyline Ultron, created by Hank Pym in the comics better known as Antman returned with the goal of destroying humankind by launching a surprise attack on Earth, taking over the whole planet and killing billions of people including hero's and villains who stood in his way. A bunch of characters come together to find a Time Platform, allowing people to travel throughout time. Wolverine of the X-Men suggested to use the platform to go back in time to kill Hank Pym before he created Ultron while everyone else disagreed and instead came up with the idea of simply telling tell Pym to not build Ultron in the first place. A few hours travelled into the future while Wolverine arrived in the past and killed Han Pym only to travel back into the future to find a whole new history where the Kree-Skrull War reached Earth and without Antman being a key member of the Avengers they were not able to stop the war from reaching Earth is this timeline. A bunch of stuff happens and in the end Wolverine goes back in time and stops his past double from killing Hank Pym. Hank Pym then claimed he would not build Ultron but Wolverine tells him that Hank needs to build Ultron order to allow history to continue but this time Hank added a shut-off switch. This takes us to the Mainline Marvel timeline of Earth-616 where Ultron like the other universe return but this time Hank had a fail safe built into Ultron. In the end the code was fully uploaded to shut him down and the virus destroyed him but Hank still knew about these two alternate timelines and what could've happened. So pretty much it was a whole time travel alternate universe storyline where Ultron took over the world and another where Antman was killed, Ultron was never created but Earth was caught in an alien conflict. Much more simple story in this film lol
TBH the changes worked well for the MCU though. Even in the comics, Hank Pym creating Ultron never made much sense. Pym's expertise is in quantum physics, not robotics or AI, so there's no way he should've had the expertise to create something like Ultron, whereas robotics and AI are completely in Stark's wheelhouse. I'm also glad they ignored the whole Age Of Ultron comic storyline since it was literally just a rip-off of the Terminator movies but done with Marvel characters instead.
44:00 Because she betrayed him. He didn't want to fight, he didn't want to unleash the Hulk anymore because every time he did people would get hurt and his conscience couldn't handle it anymore. She didn't care - she used him because SHE wanted to fight. She wanted to feel like an Avenger and he just wanted to feel human.
There's few things that made fans dont really love that movie that much, despite it being very good. 1. Forced by Josh Whedon relationship between Bruce and Natasha. It never happened in any comic story line. 2. Ultron being one off villain. He's much much much bigger threat in the comics than this movie shows. 3. Ultron's creation was actually very very very personal to his comic book creator - Ant-Man (Whom we havent met at this point) (Ant-Man who created Ultron was not even the Ant-Man we have in the MCU. There are two Ant-Mans in Marvel Comics, Scott Lang and the original one Hank Pym. Scott Lang is the one we got) 4. Quicksilver's death - but that were ownership reasons. Basically Pietro and Wanda in the comics are mutants, which at that point movie rights were owned by Fox (They are at Disney now, cuz they bought Fox) Thats why we didnt see the X-Men in the MCU. Same goes for Spider-Man and related to him characters (Tho they have a deal with Sony). Hulk is also character that rights dont belong to Disney. Anyway, Marvel Studios made the deal with Fox that they will use Wanda in thier universe, but X-Men universe will use Pietro in thier movies. So they only bring him to introduce us to Wanda, cuz theres no Scarlet Witch without Quicksilver. (Sometimes even too much in the comics, but dont worry bout it XD)
Pietro and Wanda WERE mutants in the comics for decades. But in 2014 their origins were revised (again motivated by the movie rights situation with FOX) so they aren't mutants in the comics anymore either. Of course there are many other changes in the MCU, which doesn't depict the mainstream comic book universe onscreen. The MCU is an alternate universe where characters sometimes have different origins, histories, personal relationships, power levels, abilities and physical appearances.

Both in the comics and in the mcu movie "Thor", Odin cast a mystic enchantment on the hammer. The enchantment did two things. One was that only the worthy can lift the hammer. The second, well, I won't say what it is, but if you want to try to figure it out, look up Odin's quote from Thor and read/listen to the words.
Technically, War Machine was a member of The West Coast Avengers. He started out by taking Tony's place as Iron Man(due to Stark's alcoholism) , then when Tony came back, Rhodey joined as War Machine.
In Iron Man 3 Stark destroys all of his current suits. It was not directly in movies but he loves making things and even Pepper cannot really stop him doing that. He wanted to stop many times yet still he couldn't leave it behind
Right, and when he destroyed the suits, he called it the Clean Slate program. Basically, he was just starting over but not giving up being Iron Man, which is what he essentially said with the ending monologue in Iron Man 3, he can't separate being Tony and Iron Man because he is Iron Man.
For sure Captain America and Black Widow are definitely more brother/sister. I thought Hawkeye and Black Widow will be a thing but you begin to see Hawkeyes family but they definitely love it each other.
tie in's fyi. coulson was the one to get the avengers the location of loki's staff, coulson also restored the helicarrier at the end, baron von strucker's son is in the show, and the guy in avengers (on the world council (mostly just a voice in the back ground) is also hydra and is in the series.
Captain America and Natasha get together in the comics, but they haven't gotten them together in the movies, yet. Scarlette Johanson and Chris Evans have been friends in real life since they were child actors.
I love this movie Cuzz There Is Every one In their full potential, No One showed Powerless, Visuals Are Superiorly realistic, Nice jokes, & Teased How Strong Can Robots Get, & Soon Ultron will return❤❤❤❤
This movie has some great lines. "What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to save their country?" "The city is flying...we're fighting robots, I have a bow and arrow, none of this makes any sense."
18:03 AI literally means artificial intelligence 💀, meaning an AI from a movie can have emotions and personality. Since his birth Ultron saw the chaos that humans create on the files. He thinks humans are the problem and he wants to exterminate them. That simple
grew up watching it and love it and ultron isn't wrong on the evolving part also love the stuff in between hawkeye and quicksilver and i believe ultron had feelings for wanda
When the doctor asked if Thor would be at the party Tristan said "They all like Thor" with a little surprise in his voice. Are you really surprised? And why? Look at the dude. I'm a straight man, but I can admit that dude looks good. As for the Hulk and Tony fighting. That's the wrong approach. You see the problem is the more you piss off, anger, infuriate, the Hulk the stronger he grows. That is straight out the comic books. Fighting Hulk is futile because Anger = Strength
not just strength that's the problem... strength endurance speed toughness healing factor etc everything just gets more powerful. its almost impossible to beat the hulk is a long drawn out fight. ur best options are to either get him to calm down or send him somewhere (like space to calm down) or knock him out as fast as possible before his power rises too much (which takes an lot of concentrated force in a short period)
35:28 Its name is Vision, and it can lift the hammer because it's simply not a living being it's a Synthroid a robot kind of, and the caste or spell that was put on the hammer by Odin by which only a worthy Person can lift the hammer affects only on living beings that's what happened!!!!
I think it’s kind of inaccurate to claim Vision isn’t a “living thing.” He’s not organic, but he very much IS “alive” in the philosophical sense. He’s more a person than he is a machine. He can lift the hammer because he’s worthy.
I Get jealous and happy at the same time for those who don't have to wait for years to watch all movies of the phase 1 of Marvel, I love watching reactors watch Marvel for the first time, Im with you in these reactions, I can't wait for the next one 🥰
great reaction guys.. fyi, 1. wanda and pietro are originally xmen from thd comics..they are known as scarlet witch and quicksilver..but since xmen and mutants are owned by 20th Century Fox by the time this movie was released, Disney is only allowed to use their human names, and not call them mutants..they were called Enhanced in this film.. 2. the armor that tony used to fight Hulk is called Hulkbuster Armor..and it has an AI named Veronica..the name veronica is a pun by Tony, since Bruce was inlove with the woman named Betty (incredible hulk), so he named the AI veronica as a pun to the Archie comics love triangle.. 3. the android's name is Vision 4. this movie gave way to a lot of moving pieces for the next movies..its underrated..yet, its one of my fave ones.. next is Ant-Man..
With the solo films covering character beats, the Avenger films offer a way to minimize character time in devotion for action time. However, that’s expensive. Consider cast salary and FX alone.
This is for Sam who ships Cap and Black Widow. You'll be happy to know that in one of the comics they did end up together, married, and had son named James Rogers who ended up leading the YOUNG AVENGERS along with other Avenger's offsprings.
One thing I didn't like about the first two avengers movies was that they were overly edited. Some scenes ended abruptly, and the movie seemed incomplete. For instance the way the fight between Thor and iron Man ended in the first one was massively edited, and the way the fight between the hulk and iron Man started and ended was edited out. But with Infinity war and endgame, The avengers movies ventured into the 3-hour field. They still cut out some things, but the movie seemed complete.
While the romance of Bruce and Nat is a far cry from their source stories, in the context of the MCU I enjoy their relationship. I think it works for Natasha she is constantly struggling with her past of murder both those she intended to kill and those she did not. Gives her some tragedy to grow from, and her seeing only Bruce can understand her POV I find their relationship more compelling than one with Steve.
37:42 The biggest sin in this movie imo. This throw would have torn her arm off. The human body can't take the amount of force to throw her body weight up that high abruptly. I shook my head the first time I watched this movie. How can things like this make it through production? It's noticeably stupid. And a similar problem in the first Avengers movie when Captain America boosted Black Widow up to catch onto a flying vehicle moving at least 200 mph. It can't friggin happen. Child brains come up with this stuff. And it's not like either of these scenes were necessary to happen the way they did. A bit of rewriting. We need a teamwork scene between these characters. We need Thor rescuing an innocent. It can be done in a believable way that's just as good.
Speedster 101 Golden Age Flash - Jay Garrick - DC The Flash - Barry Allen - DC comics Kid Flash - Wally West - DC comics Impulse - Bart Allen - DC comics Jesse Quick - DC comics Quicksilver - Pietro Maximoff - Marvel The Whizzer -Robert Frank - Marvel Speed - Tommy Shepherd - Marvel Speed Demon - James Sanders - Marvel 😂 Excelsior was Stan Lee's catch phrase...that and 'Nuff Said. 😅 Ulysses Klaue is played by Andy Serkiss. Best known for being the voice actor for Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies. 😮
Veronica is an inside joke with Stark and Banner. Archie from Riverdale in the comics had two love interests...Betty and Veronica. Bruce's previous girlfriend was Elizabeth "Betty" Ross, daughter to General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. This Veronica is a mobile satellite weapons deployment system designed by Stark with Bruce's input on ways to contain a rogue Hulk. 😮 The synthesis of the Jarvis A. I., the Mind Stone and the Vibranium body is known in the comics as The Vision. Although in the comics the body was the world war II era Human Torch Synthezoid created by Dr. Phineas Horton seen in the MCU at the Stark Expo in a sealed containment canister. (Captain America: The First Avenger) The brain patterns were copied from another Avenger - Simon Williams a.k.a. Wonder Man. The gem in the comics is not an infinity stone but a solar beam projector via a crystal. 😮
8:19 They've definitely had romantic chemistry before but they both just chose to not do anything with it lol they're really good friends but their dynamic is not a siblling one.
1. Tony and Thanos were always right 2. Wanda was a mistake 3. Cap is too good for this world 4. Doctor strange is meant to be the best of us ( strongest Avenger) 5. When it comes to strong female character Captain Marvel > Wanda
also a true ai would be like him what i mean is it would have its very own personality it would be a free thinker it would be equivalent to a human but as a machine with a will of its own and i would be down for that to have a machine that is almost living as a friend would be awesome but no everybody chooses the other half of the coin which is the 50% version that ai would be evil when it could always be good we don't really know yet and of course humans fear everything they simply don't understand
I think a lot of people see this as a transition movie, kind of like Empire Strikes Back. It is entertaining but is used to set up future movies and add to character development. That may be why it seems odd and uncharacteristic. Also, did nobody catch Tony's phrase "Hello, Deere" when addressing the John Deere tractor. Wordplay. Typical Tony.
Clint said that Fury helped keep his family off the records. So clearly Ultron wouldn't know about them since there is no trace of them
In the scene meeting Laura Tony gave us a clue
If you wonder why there’s a whole bunch of ww2 veterans at the party, it’s because Steve invited them since that really all the guys he has left from his time.

No One showed Powerless, Visuals Are Superiorly realistic, Nice jokes, & Teased How Strong Can Robots Get, & Soon Ultron will return❤❤❤❤
This movie has some great lines.
"What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to save their country?"
"The city is flying...we're fighting robots, I have a bow and arrow, none of this makes any sense."
BFR is really the best way to deal with Hulk. Just yeet him into space, then deal with it later when (or if) he comes back down.
not just strength that's the problem... strength endurance speed toughness healing factor etc everything just gets more powerful. its almost impossible to beat the hulk is a long drawn out fight.
ur best options are to either get him to calm down or send him somewhere (like space to calm down) or knock him out as fast as possible before his power rises too much (which takes an lot of concentrated force in a short period)
Go To Sleep funniest moment in this movie
You skipped over Hawkeye's speech. You guys are sick.
Hulkbuster is he highlight of the movie.
35:28 Its name is Vision, and it can lift the hammer because it's simply not a living being it's a Synthroid a robot kind of, and the caste or spell that was put on the hammer by Odin by which only a worthy Person can lift the hammer affects only on living beings that's what happened!!!!
I think it’s kind of inaccurate to claim Vision isn’t a “living thing.”
He’s not organic, but he very much IS “alive” in the philosophical sense. He’s more a person than he is a machine. He can lift the hammer because he’s worthy.
2;35-That shot is Straight from the cover of Avengers issue 365, published abut 8 years before the movie.
I wasn’t a fan when I first saw Ultron but I have to say it’s deeply grown on me
I Get jealous and happy at the same time for those who don't have to wait for years to watch all movies of the phase 1 of Marvel, I love watching reactors watch Marvel for the first time, Im with you in these reactions, I can't wait for the next one 🥰
great reaction guys..
fyi, 1. wanda and pietro are originally xmen from thd comics..they are known as scarlet witch and quicksilver..but since xmen and mutants are owned by 20th Century Fox by the time this movie was released, Disney is only allowed to use their human names, and not call them mutants..they were called Enhanced in this film..
2. the armor that tony used to fight Hulk is called Hulkbuster Armor..and it has an AI named Veronica..the name veronica is a pun by Tony, since Bruce was inlove with the woman named Betty (incredible hulk), so he named the AI veronica as a pun to the Archie comics love triangle..
3. the android's name is Vision
4. this movie gave way to a lot of moving pieces for the next movies..its underrated..yet, its one of my fave ones..
next is Ant-Man..
Ok. Now I know I need glasses. I thought the thumbnail said "Avengers: Ass of Ultron"
This movie is amazing
Heavily underrated
I like to love it
You have to love James Spader as ultron, need to watch the blacklist tv series to see the actor. Enjoy the movie and have a great time.
U gotta , so much juice in performance
With the solo films covering character beats, the Avenger films offer a way to minimize character time in devotion for action time. However, that’s expensive. Consider cast salary and FX alone.
a lot of people dislike this movie but i love it and it’s my fav avenger movie besides infinity war
Mine Too ☺😀
just if you dont know, the actor James Spader is the voice of Ultron and Klaw is the guy that played Gollum in LOTR
You mean James Spader. A great actor, loved him in The Blacklist.
@@williambanks2223 ok corrected
The red guy as you call him is Vision .
Here i am after thor 1, 2 , iron man 3, guardians 1, avengers1
This is for Sam who ships Cap and Black Widow. You'll be happy to know that in one of the comics they did end up together, married, and had son named James Rogers who ended up leading the YOUNG AVENGERS along with other Avenger's offsprings.
age of ultron is kinda the black sheep of avengers films.. the next two are absolute masterpieces
Yet alot of reactors like it. People complaining about this were mainly comic folk
I also like to watch the Avengers assembled, each character brings different personalities to battle 😎. Thanks for the fun reaction Sam & Tristan.
8:19 but Bruce and Romanoff fits better cause she can’t have kids and he shouldn’t have biological kids for risk of passing along the Hulk gene.
The foreshadowing!! You'll get it in the end😅
Damn your predictions are pretty accurate lol. Sam says ai and then tristan says nick fury etc etc 😮. Shows you are paying attention too love it.
There’s that one guy 😭😂😭😂 “Sam” he is also known as The Falcon.
Guys som movies missed before this...😅😅😅
Time to Starting spiderman movies. Aunt man movies also.
36:29 😂 i know what tristan n sam have planned for their next venture
Back at it
I can see what sam meant by something about this movie, some underlying depth and texture in writing or dialogue or the music,
Wanda is by far my favorite in the MCU.
Speedster 101
Golden Age Flash - Jay Garrick - DC
The Flash - Barry Allen - DC comics
Kid Flash - Wally West - DC comics
Impulse - Bart Allen - DC comics
Jesse Quick - DC comics
Quicksilver - Pietro Maximoff - Marvel
The Whizzer -Robert Frank - Marvel
Speed - Tommy Shepherd - Marvel
Speed Demon - James Sanders - Marvel
😂
Excelsior was Stan Lee's catch phrase...that and 'Nuff Said. 😅
Ulysses Klaue is played by Andy Serkiss.
The synthesis of the Jarvis A. I., the Mind Stone and the Vibranium body is known in the comics as The Vision.
Although in the comics the body was the world war II era Human Torch Synthezoid created by Dr. Phineas Horton seen in the MCU at the Stark Expo in a sealed containment canister.
(Captain America: The First Avenger)
The brain patterns were copied from another Avenger - Simon Williams a.k.a. Wonder Man. The gem in the comics is not an infinity stone but a solar beam projector via a crystal. 😮
Good job on the hw my g
8:19 They've definitely had romantic chemistry before but they both just chose to not do anything with it lol they're really good friends but their dynamic is not a siblling one.
Pump these out faster! Been checking every day lol
Addiction is a hell of a thing! :p
The first marvel movie with motion capture.
Loving your reactions! Subscribed!
Ultron is definitely one of the better marvel villians.. He has something about him.
Although loki is still better.
Ultron is skynet
Betty and Veronica from Archie Comics.
You 2 should definitely check out the cornetto trilogy when you have the chance
Before watch infinity way and endgame, please watch the trailers
black widow is enhanced, she has a weaker version of super solider serum
This is in my top 3. I’ve watched this so many times😭
1. Tony and Thanos were always right
2. Wanda was a mistake
3. Cap is too good for this world
4. Doctor strange is meant to be the best of us ( strongest Avenger)
5. When it comes to strong female character
Captain Marvel > Wanda
I gotta believe thor watered down that yager for stan lol
I love iron man suit in final battle
also a true ai would be like him what i mean is it would have its very own personality it would be a free thinker it would be equivalent to a human but as a machine with a will of its own and i would be down for that to have a machine that is almost living as a friend would be awesome but no everybody chooses the other half of the coin which is the 50% version that ai would be evil when it could always be good we don't really know yet and of course humans fear everything they simply don't understand
Ill watch the 2 avengers back to back now❤
Not Flash. Quicksilver.
Also now Jarvis became Vision
. Ultron played by Rdj friend. James spader
James Spader played Dr Daniel Jackson in 'Stargate.'
@@SlimDaddy9 did he?
I can't wait for the next one
Why the fvck do u want to see Natasha and Steve hook up lmao 😂
Quicksilver and Wanda are mutants
