I have had two cars that were totalled by uninsured illegal drivers in Minneapolis. My rates went up for 3 years. How stupid!!!!

I deserve to have a driver’s license because it’s my legal right. I may have disabilities but I demand that I deserve a driver’s license. If undocumented immigrants can get a drivers license, why can’t I? We are oppressed!!!

@@desserteyes6978 My boyfriend got into an auto accident by somebody who was undocumented and the undocumented individual that hit my boyfriend had no auto insurance. The undocumented guy ran a red light and smacked into my boyfriend. It’s obvious that the undocumented individual didn’t speak a word of English and had no auto insurance and had absolutely no clue of the driving laws here, speaking of ignorance and stupidity.

The Drivers Licenses for All bill will not change Minnesota election laws at all. Many people who are ineligible to vote (like green card holders or sixteen year-olds) already have drivers licenses. For that reason, drivers licenses are not used as proof of citizenship 🙄

They don’t pay taxes. Any money they make, they wind up sending it home to their families.
They have it worse they pay taxes and can’t file so they get nothing back and no investment for 401k they will pay into Medicare and get zero benefits out of it. And to get welfare and assistance you have to have a legal social security number so everyone who is thinking these illegals like hispanics come here and get on welfare they cant and don’t qualify. Driving is a privilege, not a right. It is a privilege of being a citizen. If an American travels to another country, they dont get to drive around that country while on a visa. So, why should it be that way here?

You actually can travel to Mexico and drive with out a Mexican drivers license. How do you think people along the border who work in Mexico and vice versa get back and forth!? They have two driver’s licenses? No. And not every American is a citizen there are many residents of united states who are not citizens but have there resident card and can have a drivers license legally by law.
Foreign driver lisence are usually legit to drive in Minnesota, there are treaties between counties. That privilege is saved for all those who follow the traffic rules, make sure your car has insurance on it.

Im still unsure about this law. Im under the assumption that you’d still have to go through drivers training to acquire a driver’s license. We should be allowed to implement a new type of license to show your status of whether you are a citizen of the state/ country or an immigrant. This will reduce the amount of voter fraud which I believe many Minnesotans (including myself) are concerned about.

They won’t ask for voter ID while voting as an undocumented individual but you can get your drivers license easily while being undocumented. That’s completely messed up.
