Madam,you should specify that its ammonium bicarbonate or baker's ammonia and NOT the toxic corrosive NH3 ammonia.
Other than that,the cookies turned out great

You are right, ammonia is a kind of chemical.
But nothing happens with a pinch ammonia.
If you are afraid of ammonia, then you can make it without ammonia too it will be very good.Thank you for your valuable comment.
