That's like in every area of work no matter what you do. You make some friends, but other people will have their problems. No different in retail, teaching, waitressing, or whatever you do.
Great point. When I worked for Wendys years ago I got the Employee of the Month award. There were people who were ticked off at me for it. I mean they had a shot the next month. lol
I played in David Allan Coe‘s band for 10 years. He’s the real deal. He doesn’t give a shit about anybody else or what they fucking think about him. It’s hilarious. I love that guy to death. We’re still the best of friends.
I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but a big reason may be due to Joey Moi being the go-to producer in country music. If you don't know who Moi is, maybe you'll recognize this Nickelback song lyric about him; "And what the hell is on Joey's head?" (Yes, he is THAT Joey) Moi spent the 2000's turning rock into a "copy-paste" genre, now he's doing the same to country music.
Nice cup, Brittney. That's why they don't like you, because you have your views and opinions and aren't afraid to show them. You speak out when things bother you and so does Maryn.
I think the reason that some women do not like Aldean's wife is that she is a homewrecker. She and Aldean had a very public affair, humiliating the wife he had before he became famous. And she helped break up his children's home. But if they'll cheat with you, they'll cheat on you. However being a man in country music seems to be advantageous since apparently certain radio stations and their DJs control what and who get played and make artists are apparently played 80 (or more) percent of the time. And I've heard that artists either kiss those keesters or no one hears your music. Kinda like mafia dons.
Of course, they're all competing with each other whether they want to admit it or not. There's only going to be so many hit songs for X genre at any given time the masses will actually care about. When Brooks and Dunn made a massive hit like "Neon Moon" suddenly that's taking radio play and chart positions from all the other popular country artists at the time. That's just how the business works, it really is cutthroat...
If you want to be in a happy band, don't play with people you know... it gets personal at times and it's best you/they have no ammunition to use against one another.
I worked in Nashville for 3 years with lots of different Country artists, when Nashville was what I would call pure country and not this hybrid we have now. I will point out 2 things. Anytime a country artists talks politics, they alienate part of their base, regardless of being left or right. As for country folks getting along? I worked on a bill with one the main "outlaws" and he was not happy who was on the bill with him and he let them know it. He despised what he called "White shirt cowboys" guy who buy the farm AFTER they make it big.
For that the last decade it’s been a race to sound exactly alike. Someone put the country radio station and every male singer sounded the same and almost every song was a sappy tune. Not sure why country music is still alive it’s horrible.
THE MUSIC BUSINESS SUCK !!! Get over it!!😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣No one can ever get along with anyone theses days!! Either your for Trump Or your for the DEEP STATE !!! Harris Obama or Joe !! America will & can’t ever agree on everything anymore!!!😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣
Funny enough, my favorite song of theres is probably “Lost and Found” which is one of Kix’s songs. I will agree though that Montgomery Gentry got shafted too many times simply because Brooks and Dunn merely existed
Guess you’ve never heard the old songs with a play on words, clever metaphors, twists and turning expectations around in a different direction than you THINK a story will play out. The only country that’s for intellectually challenged people are the songs about a “jacked up truck down a dirt road with a beer and a girl when the sun goes down in a small town”.
@@BrennanBarrier Yes I get your point. I used to be a country DJ back in the 80s. Now I prefer Mozart and almost never listen to any music with lyrics. But to each his own. ✌️
I’ve always noticed most country artists don’t like each other. I’m so happy that Morgan, Hardy, and Ernest are BFFs. It’s so fun to watch them. ❤️
None of those are country artists
@@rickyparrish2570 I love all country, I don’t discriminate.

Ronnie is right, just because you can sing it doesn't mean Country is your genre. There's not room for everyon.

Gotta pay your dues, moan the blues and bend them guitar strings.
Brooks n Dunn. Are my go to. I still listen to them. I absolutely love them seen them tons too. Always be my favorite. Too many favorites
Brooks and Dunn are the best concert I have seen. Ronnie can belt it out.
I think 90% of country music stinks now, older stuff is way better. Brooks & Dunn one of the best in country music🤘
Yes it's unfortunate, but it's reductive now
90's and early 00's was the last good stuff, really.

They start out humble and then the fame and fortune goes to their head. Bless their hearts. LOL
The gloves come off and claws come out Country stars are like anybody else.
This is why I listen to Toby Keith's music every day. He was genuine and didn't let Noone dictate his music or views.
Yeah, that’s usually what assholes do! They do whatever they want and don’t care what people think!
Haven't heard anyone that met Toby say anything positive about him.
Ronnie has always been the talent of this duo!
Hands down without question. If it wasn't for Ronnie Dunn, Kix Brooks would have never made it past singing in a volunteer church choir.
DP is a KH voter. Not a surprise she said that. She runs off joy. LOL.
At least these guys are still able to make great music.
Literally didn't know rock feed had a country section :-) this is awesome
Brooks and Dunn are real country unlike todays bs pop that’s city music
Check out Zach Top! This kid is old school country! Love him!
I don’t go to work to make friends I go to work to take care of my self no one else will take care of me
The only good "new" country singers are Riley Green & Zach Top. As far as the Maren Morris lady goes...I've heard better at a Karaoke bar.
💯
Check out Alex Key
Love me some Brooks & Dunn❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I like me some B&D but they might have felt more tension than most because they dominated the genre and their category (Duo) for a LONG time.
Nice cup, Brittney. That's why they don't like you, because you have your views and opinions and aren't afraid to show them. You speak out when things bother you and so does Maryn.
They don’t hate each other
He didn't say them
I hope not. I love Brooks and Dunn.

Maybe those conservative country artists don’t get political because they’d rather just “shut up and sing.”
I always thought Brooks and Dunn didn't like each other, and tolerated each other on stage. Glad to be mistaken!
❤️😁

Like Ronnie Dunn with that big "COWBOY" tattoo on his arm?

How old was Ronnie Dunn when he got that ridiculous tattoo? I know real cowboys and he’s not one.
They weren’t even a real duo. Only one of em sang all there songs. They robbed Montgomery Gentry of so many awards.
Kix has sang a few of the songs over the years.
Montgomery got them that one year LOL. But B&D were robbed SO many times by Sugarland!!!!

Country music is entertainment for the intellectually challenged. And somehow Minnie Moore seems to make it on everyone’s collaborations.
