Tbh I genuinely thought it wasn’t going to turn out well, given the paint shade was different, & painting that flexible plastic cover, but I have to say I’m impressed, especially with the white lettering detail! I’m definitely going to give it a go now ! Thanks for posting 👍
Like you said it isn’t 100% the same color but it is actually a lot closer then you and all of us thought it would be I think lol. It turned out amazing.. great job in prep and application. Make more mustang videos it’s been a while lol. Love your mustang videos. Take care from 🇺🇸
@@philscars it’s still weird seeing the steering wheel on the wrong side in your vids 😂😂.. keep it up, have a great Christmas coming up. A good Christmas present to your self would be some nice new black wheels or having your stock wheels powder coated. I know when you first bought your car you said you wants black Wheels and you liked them a lot on the green car at dealer.
Loving the white lettering. However, I feel as if the grey throws it off a little. If I ever take a stab at this, I would probably go with the whole thing in blue, with the lettering and the 5.0 in white. Alas, thanks for sharing...
Thanks for sharing, I might give this a go. Could I ask how much the replacement cover was? Am thinking if it goes wrong I might want to buy another one! Thanks.
Do this tofay on my 2016. Can i ask the text pen. Was it like a touch in pen? I doing Ford Signal yellow covers (i have a green mustang) with black lettering

Yes, it’s a touch up paint pen!
great, I want to do the same to my Kuga.
Go for it!
Hi dose it need special spray like high temperature one or just normal paint?
I think either would be fine, it’s not in direct contact with high temp, and after all it is plastic!
Its okay to use acrylic paint? And does it really need high temperature paint?
It shouldn’t, as it’s plastic and would melt anyway if the temperature got too high!
The rail covers on my C6 Corvette needs a face lift. I am considering doing this.
and why not, whats the worst that can happen, go for it!
Whats the first spray?
degreaser, then plastic primer, then base coat, then laquer
I can smell this video.
Lol
wouldve looked 10 times better if u painted that middle part WHITE it wouldve set it off
I liked it as it came out!
