FYI, in the Light Novels, its confirmed that once Kirby takes off the ‘hat’ that comes with the ability, the enemy pops out, so at least in that canon no one actually gets absorbed.

@@aarizm1758 Ah right, Kirby’s stomach (especially shown in Squeak Squad) is like that, although it’s extremely iffy whether the anime is canon or not. I mean I’d sure want it to be, seeing the anime references in recent games, but others think otherwise

That's why Beam probably isn't in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Also I think another reason is this:
Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos are basically like the same kind. All the Waddle Dees were captured and they are your allies. Kirby and the Forgotten Land takes place on a lost land and not Dreamland. Garlfis are kind of like replacement for Waddle Dees saying as they are similar in color and design. A Waddle Doo Garlfi would look like a Garlfi with one eyeball, and that would look cursed.

I think the "Waddle Doo joke" was a good use of dark humor, however I think it deserves it's own separate video. Like previously mentioned, I thought it was hilarious and written very well. However, the joke stretches on longer than the mouthful part of the animation (I think there's a pun somewhere in there lol). Overall, great animation and voice acting by Jum Jum. The Waddle Doo joke can be a little shorter OR deserve it's own vid, in my opinion. That way, the main part of the video will have more screen time and comedic impact.

If you didn't notice: The waddle doo actually has a mug that says ''Worlds best dad" but the waddle doo was probably covering the mug and thats why kirby didn't notice.

I find that always odd. In some games, Kirby can just restore the folks that he inhales and they even help out afterwards. Though in general I treat video games as ellaborate stage plays/movie sets. Whatever the characters do, you just reset the level and it's like the director saying: "Everybody back to their positions, alright!"
When looking at Mouthful Mode, you wonder: How does Kirby have control over the car (a broken down one at that)? In-game-lore-wise I guess it's a magic power of sorts that he randomly unlocks through the power of the stars or something, though again, just a game, so could be somebody else that remote controls it.
Anyways, another great animation there. =D
On par with mario 3 is a stageplay theory.
I feel like Kirby games, especially, have big "stageplay" elements mixed in with the very real stakes of the stories. The main ones I have in mind:
1. Waddle Dees will typically play the "common enemies", even in some situations where the bad guy has no affiliation with King Dedede, or even when King Dedede is one of the heroes. (Triple Deluxe is one such peculiar example, as Kirby is actually trying to rescue the king.)
2. Deal out enough violence, and enemies will "poof" or explode... but they haven't actually exploded, they're fine. See the recurring minibosses, members of the Beast Pack, etc. Kirby doesn't murder *any* of the rank-and-file minions! He does still have a body count, it's just very selective. :D
3. Recurring characters like Mr. Frosty, Whispy Woods, Bonkers etc. will frequently seem to (willingly) ally with world-destroying evils, and Kirby must beat them up, but the flavortext we have describes them as basically benevolent. It's like those bosses and minibosses are just playing their roles.
You laugh, but this could very well be the ultimate finale. Like how in Triple Deluxe, he did eat an entire wispy woods with hypernova, health bar and all.
