I got the "Sunshine on Leith" album, where this song is on. It is actually called "I'm gonna be". I think it says 1988 on it. I first heard it in a movie called "Bennie and Joon" with a young Johnny Depp, who was barely known back in 1993. Proclaimers also did a short song on the original "Shrek", and according to them, they were paid quite handsomely by Hollywood for it. "Sunshine on Leith" is one of my favorite songs...
At some point in time this band did destroy the competition on the charts for a number 1 hit so I wont say they suck. . . . . . I cant imagine being at a live concert and jammin out or being pumped to see them. . . . But it is amazingly catchy
