Hey I live in PCB and the rocks are impossible not to get stuck on. Most of the Reds are at the top of the water you’ll see them during the day they catch them on swim baits and gotcha plugs for the most part. All I’ve caught was reds so I was surprised that you caught the flounder without getting hung lmao.
I fish the jetties all the time and catch huge red fish with live pin fish. Just cast it out with no weight just pin fish and let it swim around and do it’s own thing.
I live in pcb as well and we call that flat lining. No weights or nothing, just toss it out there and leave the bail open with the line setting on your finger. It's alot of fun!

Mirrolure jerk shads sold at Walmart…and bait shop next to capt Tony’s charters on Ft myers beach is pretty good
