    Superlatives for clarity of ingredients, tastes spectrum, method statement, presentation for serving, vidio lighting. Par excellence. Great creativity from collective experiences. Bon appetit !

    I know I am quite late here, but I’ve just found your channel. I really like yuba, but it can be a bit finicky. It reminds me of working with phyllo pastry - it dries out incredibly fast, it cracks easily, and it isn’t very forgiving of mistakes. But both are delicious and a great way to make treats to show the people you love just how much you care for them. Thank you for such a great recipe - I made this last night for dinner and served it with good rice and some tofu miso soup. I’m sure those foods don’t get eaten together normally, but it was a bit of work to make the tofu skin pockets that I needed simple sides to have with it.

      Hi there, most well-stocked Asian market will have these. If you would like to make some of the softer ones your own, please check this video: th-cam.com/video/D05pE_pMEts/w-d-xo.html

    I wonder if you brush with a little oil and air fry it to make it less oily. It's looks delicious

    • @WoonHeng
      @WoonHeng  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can! it will be crispy right after you take out from the air fryer and will get a little soggy over time, but since the next step is braising it, it shouldn't matter. However, if you don't have enough oil to 'cook' the tofu skin in the airfryer, it will turn a little chewy when braising. Just a heads up.

    How to make flour paste?

    • @WoonHeng
      @WoonHeng  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Hana, I just use some cornstarch/flour and add enough water to make a thick paste. :)

  • @annieyang8370
