I think the lag was from targeting priority of the companions calculating inefficiently. most of ai in the game only has one target so it's probably not optimized for running through with 18+ ai Tring to efficiently target multiple foes also makes the boss rooms work better as there are fewer targets.

Necro gets +200% damage by the end of the run as his passive. So much stronger than everyone else at the end. Not bad at the start because the 3 skeletons are good. By far the strongest class, only SuperHero is close I think.
It may have had something to do with how many companions you had and the targeting code, or the number of individual attacks having to be calculated so quickly. Either way, that was cool. Glad to see the ring worked out.
I don't like the melee skeletons. They look good on paper, but from my experience their damage is inconsistent since they have to run to their target which outpaces them most of the time. On a side note : Fishing can be absolutely worth it for Necro if you're lucky. I managed to get 2 fishes that gives souls on consumption in a row, got 50 souls from it iirc
I had a build once with the ancestral goat and dash effect perk that triggers after 5 primaries. Had a ton of attack speed, and it was painful to listen to
Flavour wise I was so dissappointed when you finally decided against taking the banshee weapon v-v But who knows, maybe it had an even more annoying sound than the scroll? Edit: Okay, at 25:00 you did decide to obey the law. Faith in humanity restored !
I think those puppeteer gloves gave you so much damage because you were recieving the regular bonus damage from souls from necromancer trait but then ALSO the bonus companion damage from souls was now applying to you too. Might be wrong but that would make the huge increase in damage make sense.
Honestly, I feel like equip load in this game just sort of sucks as a mechanic. It's gated entirely behind one of three stats which makes it a factor you have very little control over outside of playing a high strength character from the start, and what equipment you're offered is already dependent on RNG, which means there's multiple levels of randomness coming into play that affect whether or not you can actually equip gear or not. I get that it's a balance lever for various pieces of equipment like heavy high-armor stuff, but I feel like there ought to be some way for players to obtain more equip load outside of crossing their fingers and hoping they get +strength power ups. A bonfire option to spend souls on equip load and/or a tavern option to purchase more equip load, for example. It's weird that the only place in the game you can get extra equip load is in the last floors of the game, when it's likely to matter the least.
Thanks for dropping that weapon. the noise was really awful... I get yours and Wander's annoyance with sound effect, usually I seem to find it not nearly as bad as y'all, but this sound effect needs to be changed asap
The starter Archer summons are kind of cracked. I’ve taken them all the way through Floor 12 with some extra +Companion. iirc, I think there’s a good bit of support for companions in the Red side. Like that shield that gives you block and 2 Spear Warriors.
The fact that the Voodoo would give you attack speed, which would result in more Hydras, and they were less weight per slot, which would probably equal the damage or close to the skelly boys, would likely make your run stronger... And would crash your game. Imagine having more Hydras and extra companions since Voodoo was lighter! I'd love to see if you could actually have broken the game. (Not great for a recording tho LOL)
@@Retromation Ah, so it wouldn't summon more of them unless you found Dynamo or something like that! That would explain why the attack speed was very low priority for you. Honestly, I think you did the right choice anyways for the theme!
When you put it so nicely... no. 2 seconds of math tells you it is just the same build but worse. There is nothing interesting to test. The guys running around have a slightly different sprite but do half as much damage. Not worth effort.
@@Retromation Tiny rogues is fully based on path of exile mechanics, also fully broken as poe is, you never know what weird unintended interaction between traits and the itens could happen, also there are so many variables that you might even miss an intended interaction. who told him that bruh
Someone lied? On the Internet? I'm shocked.

Reto is a very likable dude!
The voodoo dolls didn't do less damage because you get 5 of them for 1 slot rather than 3.
Im pretty sure it was 0.25 weight, but still probably closer than he thought.

If anyone doesn't know for the phase tiamat disappears for if you stand on the gravel from the door at the bottom of the room you will never be hit
You absolutely *can* get the set item you need, it just doesn't seem to have any bias between giving you that or another random set.
There is a fish you can catch that gives like 30 souls when you eat it. So you just got unlucky

BaaaAaAaaAAAAhHH
That trait might as well say, “On Dash, make a goat sound”
So with the wording of the ring I feel like if you have both parts of the set that it should double the bonus.
Justice for aurora scroll!!! *Wing wing wing, wing wing wing, wing wing wing*
Definitely a Diablo geared run. Thx for running the Nec. Fun to watch.

That's the case, only mystery here why it doesn't work on bosses
Great episode

you absolutely can get the second half of a set from guaranteed set item / all items set items, what?
