I have the same chains but I have metal ratchets which undo and tighten. There's a screw on each side and a crank lever in the middle. Just makes it safe and gets really tight.
The ratcheting binders are a great option.
Loads under 10k only requires two tie downs and an additional one for the boom
Depends on chain and binder size but I believe you are correct.
