Is Romantic Warrior the best horse in the world? I personally think so up to 2000m. The 2023 Cox plate win was huge and with the aid of Jockey James McDonald, Romantic Warrior has had every possible chance and has capitalized on all 3 races with wins this season. Well Equinox and Ace Impact were both clearly better but they aren’t racing in 2024 but they were racing around Cox Plate time last year
