It was a bit ridiculous. We were treating it like it was about to explode!! It might have had something to do with the crazy price these things are. I think the original price was about £3.10s 11d. I made the last bit up obviously but it certainly wasn't more than that according to the old invoices from the time. Unbelievable that in those days you could have bought an absolute all-singing all-dancing Wheatstone tenor-treble for about £15!!!
