Yea this was truly one of my favorite VHS. Tried finding this 15 years ago and couldn't and if it wasn't for me emailing the name to myself I would have never remembered I think and just came across the old email 😁
Me too man..I'm literally wet-eyed,watching this with a biiig ass smile on my face. I had this vhs that came with the savage action figure..and i watched the heeelllllllll outta that !
I got this VHS on one of my birthdays. I literally watched this so many times I wore out the tape. One of my best childhood memories. Thanks for uploading this. I ended up joining the Army too.
This was such a core memory for me. I couldn’t remember what it was for the longest time and finally was able to figure it out again. I’m bummed they didn’t make more
Heroes live forever, but legends never die. Savage is the kind of soldier that made others decide to join the military because of the sacrifices and victories they made.
This was originally gonna be a full show but they scrapped it in made at new toylike the “Extreme Gi Joes” than made the cartoon to market those toys instead
@@InhumanFan98 Go away, you toxic ahh Captain America fanboys are the reason why I was always more of a Spider-Man,X-Men,Hulk, and Fantastic Four guy. So y'know what? screw your favorite character Captain America and the Avengers lmao.
i was so bummed when GiJoe was discontinued in 1994 when I was in the 4th grade. GIJOE was always my favorite over everything as a kid. I got a bunch of hand me downs from my way older cousins kicking off my obsession in like 1991 , THe show on TV I remember Hating, The DIC cartoon but the rental tapes from the SUNBOW cartoon were awesome. As a kid I even loved GIJOE the movie. I still can recite the entire script from memory. I am a voice actor in China and in my Sega Saturn history 101 history video I dubbed over Gijoe the Movie Changing the script just a little from memory to make it fit the Sega corporate meeting narative for the purpose of my story. anyways, when my mom got me the sgt Savage toy with he vhs I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STOKED I think it was in 5th grade 05 , I got it at my Birthday. We all went and watched it. I was stoked to see hawk and Cobra Commander, but TO be honest hated Savage and Krieger. Didn't they name the people on the Nebuchadnezzar in the Matrix after his Screaming eagles?
I found this toys in my parent's house last month : Sgt Savage figure, Krieger figure and the jeep with missiles. I had a soldier too, "Dynamite" maybe ? He was given to a friend for 3 others figures in exchange. I don't have the VHS anymore. Thx for the upload !
I also remember watchin this, it came with my old Savage toy long ago, was it 1995 maybe? Jeez... great memories. I happened to find Savage toy plus D-Day a few weeks ago and add them to my collection so Its amazing now to see this again, thanks!
While at night shift, I was randomly started thinking of this. Shocking how I remember the scenes by memory. Weird cause I last saw this when I was a kid... 7 roughly. 90s nostalgia. Thanks for the upload.
I remember getting this combo in 95 from Kmart. We didn’t have much money and it was a big deal. The next day I told my mom I was sick and watched that video about 20 times and just played with the toy. I miss the 90s sometimes
God this brings back memories. As for Sgt. Savage, I always envisioned him being a part of the 101st airbourne and Krieger to be a SS Officer, and if you know the history of both of those units in WW2, you know exactly why Savage was beyond pissed.
There were also Airborne units in the Asiatic Pacific War too, One of them was the 11th Airborne that jumped into New Guinea and Leyte and the 101st itself was supposed to be transferred to the Pacific theatre once the war in Europe ended on VE day
THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS UP!! I haven’t seen this in close to 20 years. Was starting to think it was a fever dream. Genuinely cried at the beginning and end. I’m saving this.
I got this video with Sgt Savage. I remember enjoying the adventure. And enjoyed this rewatch. A cool mix between Sgt Rock and Captain America. Always wanted the airplane vehicle.
Holy shiit man, when I see this I just feel to open all the GI Joe figures I have from the 25th anniversary to play with them. WE LOVE YOU SERGEANT SAVAGE!!! Thanks for saving us from the Evil Cobra! YOOOOO JOE!!!!!!!!!
Surprisingly before Gatlings death he drew up an electric power Gatling gun, replacing the hand crank with an electric motor hooked up to a battery. The GE minigun came in the 60s 16 years after his service. Here is where its crazy..... this is a cartoon. Where humans are beef buses with tiny heads.
Reminds me a lot of the WildCats animated series with a ton of Rob Liefeld style artwork. Definitely a product of it's time, but still interesting nonetheless. Glad to see this again after having the VHS years back before the tape wore out.

True, I never had the VHS or might not be born in the 90's but in my defense? I always thought Sgt. Savage was an awesome G.I.Joe character when I first these videos on TH-cam as a kid, Heck like the Maximals of Beast Wars over the Autobots, I'll take Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles over the real G.I.Joe team anyday since I've always loved the 90's but always disliked the 80's because those elitists of that year criticizing this harshly by calling it a "Captain America clone" was one of the many reasons why the 80's became my least favorite year now lol.
Krieger betrayed Sgt. Savage to go work for ISIS. Think about it, Krieger here is a German agent working on robots in World War II and Krieger in Archer is working on robots and cyborgs.
I gotta say tho if they continued the pilot episode we would have more action of the screaming eagles and their modified WW2 vehicles, hell even having episodes fighting with the 80s GI Joe against Cobra and the Iron Army.
Tbh its not that good, the art style isnt good and the whole thing is a rip off from sargent rock and captain america, tbh theirs alot better 90s cartoons. Im glad this one went nowhere like gi joe extreme did
Thank for this I did not know about this cartoon at all wish they done more of this I think this would be a cool cartoon but now they don't do cartoon for Saturday morning anymore what a shame

I remember getting this tape with the SGT Savage figure in 95. Dissapointed that it is the only episode, but the nostalgia really sends me back
damn, right in the nostalgia. Absolutely remember getting this action figure and vhs combo. The tracking took me back.
Haven't seen this in years! MAN, talk about nostalgia.
jamg25 This my first time seeing this. All these dudes are ripped.
Animation still holds.
Old soldiers never die, they just fade away 🫡
My god, those Rob Liefeld-like musculatures. This was definitely the 90s. God, I miss those days.
could not have said it better Omar!!!!!!!!!
This brings back so many memories. I remember having that GI Joe P-40 Warhawk and Sgt. Savage figure as a kid. I also had the F-16 Fighting Falcon
Ever heard of the Flying Tigers, P-40 was their main fighter defending China and Burma from the Japanese
The p40 is how I found this cartoon agajn

I disagree, savage was just a booleg sargent rock and captain america. Hes too 90s aswel

So glad this got uploaded. I lost my vhs copy yrs ago between moving and step family taking things. Thank you for up loading
They seriously should have continued this. I loved this.
this was me and my brothers favorite cartoon when we were younger, the reason we both grew up wanting to join the army... and now we are here haha.
I remember my parents buying these for me in mexico, the audio was in Spanish of course.

the grizzly jeep was one of my favorite toys. sgt savage as one of my fav gi joes too. sgt slaughter was my all time fav

Sweet, hearing Chris Latta voicing Cobra Commander again
That wasn't Chris Latta. This was made in late 1994. He died before they made this. CC's voice on here is actually Gary Chalk.
Scott McNeil, actually. And a damn good job too.
@@christianyoung1383 "Damn good" is right. I thought that was Chris Latta, but now, I am wondering if that is Scott McNeil after all.

Ah this takes me back. The theme is one of the best composed in the GI Joe verse.

This cartoon was my inspiration to join the army.
What unit were you with? My friend August Caccavone was in WWII with the 106th Infantry Division and 7th Army
I like Savage calling a computer monitor a 'movie screen'.
found and gave my savage and blitz toys to my toddler son a few months back. he was playing with them tonight haha
It was nice to see cobra commander. This video is actually kinda good.
You know cobra would have wiped krieg out; countless super weapons and the strategic use of pimp daddy Destro will win the day
Cobra would even not bother with their other weapons, they could use the pyramid of darkness and be done.
Had this toy as a kid and this video that came with it brought back happy memories
Amazing watching this now and when I was a kid, wish they made a real weekend show or movie out of this.
