I remember watching this when I was kid and then playing with the M.A.S.K. toy collection I had. I wish I still had those toys today as a collector's item...
Wazzup! It's real now! Sad you lost your collection. Same thing happened with my Voltron figurines worth 120k now last time I checked. th-cam.com/video/WdyEpnKqjds/w-d-xo.html
I had a couple of the roys: the red car, motorcycle and the semi. Matt came with car with the suite in this episode, but he also (along with the other 2) came with the truck in another suite. My cousin had all the venom team.
As a kid where I'm from Mask aired super early 6am... I remember it.. Mask 6am, Voltron 6:30am , GI Joe 7am Transformers 7:30 ... Then I hauled ass to school to not be late. 80's cartoons were awesome 😅
I found a M.A.S.K. car for sale on Ebay by chance and remembered this badazz show from when I was a kid. That theme is better than everything currently on the radio in 2023
I remember this well. It's the most 80s thing you can imagine: A private organization to solve problems because the government can't be trusted, massively muscled male heroes, synthesizer soundtrack, little kids getting involved, robots, a computer that has all the answers. This is awesome.
This brings back some damn good memories of my childhood. Where I lived this played right after school and Id be in a rush to watch this, GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Thunder Cats, Dungeons and Dragons and a few years later in the late 80s (and early 90s), TMNT. The 80s had the best cartoons and toys for kids.
when I look at kids today I'm saddened by the fact they couldn't grow up in the 80's. What a time to be a kid. Now they all have their faces stuck in technology and not making memories
I really like that no matter what their job was, they just "peaced out" in the middle. Like the teacher just walks out of class, and the guy handling the snake just passes it off to some dude, and leaves.
The irresponsibility of every M.A.S.K. agent ,walking out of your "real"job dropping food items... sneaking out of the classroom...walking out on that cool guitar solo...
+Badger at Toad Hall Yeah, we had to settle for Playboy and Penthouse and if you were lucky, you'd see some boobs on a rated R movie your parents let you watch. AWKWARD!!!
Aww man...memories. I more than loved this cartoon. All my old preschool friends used to play with these toys everyday. Do you guys remember they had those MASK toy watches that came out that we could get back in the 80's? The best part was when these guys would get paged for a mission, leave everything and set off. It was my favorite part when I was a kid. Anyway, this cartoon definitely encompassed and fostered the missionary aspect of a man to fight evil and do good in one's life. I wish the cartoons did that today for kids.
The one big mystery, of this show to me, was how did the M.A.S.K. computer know how to pick the best agents for the mission when Trakker never defined the mission parameters in the first place. If the MASK mainframe was always listening in to Trakker and collecting data then somehow intuits what the mission parameters most likely are then selects the best agents based on this intuition that would imply Trakker had a working heuristic artificial intelligence in the basement of his mansion. If so why didn't Trakker instruct this AI computer to predict what VENOM's next probable moves are and create counter missions to thwart these VENOM actions. I suppose this is the magic of being a kid who didn't care about details, such as how a gull winged door Camaro flies, and just being interested in how cool it was a Camaro can turn into a flying car.
So much feels. I had lots of the toys from Kenner back in the day. Amazing period to grow up in. The 80's truly had the best cartoons. Every day after schooltime it was the only thing I was excited for. Thanks for this upload!
This description just illustrates the price of inflation. In the 1980's, a fictional multimillionaire could fund a fictional international crime organization. Now a fictional criminal mastermind would need billions.
I only got to watch these cartoons in my friend's haus bcoz some of our TV channels back then weren't working. Thank u for bringing back my childhood cartoon faves.
@@HorrordelicWhile kids have these on demand, there's something to be said for the experience of walking into a toys r us in the mid 80's where you're hit with the sheer massiveness of all the toys from these cartoons when they were new, that they will never be able to experience. I'm 53 so I was too old for cartoons when this first premiered. Not like I care. I have a good collection of the original Transformers even though I was in my 20s when they first came out.
I heard a rumor that the third G.I. Joe movie will merge with M.A.S.K. And THAT could lead to a G.I. Joe - Transformers mash-up! I grew up with these cartoons, so I'm all in...
you are not wrong...the character Matt Trakker will be in the third G.I Joe as cameo. So I'm hoping that the cameo will be a hit and trigger green light a M.A.S.K movie :D
I'd heard of this, but can't remember if & how much I saw. Been watching a lot of shows these past years, Detailed designs. Ah the 80s. When you could just find a woman unconscious in a ravine and bring her home with you instead of taking her to a hospital and nobody would ask any questions, not even the woman you found
Cartoons back then were the best. They made sense not to mention the music was great. And the toys, WHAT?! I wanted these toys so bad, but moms didn't have the money lol.
you guys and ladies...we all grow up and end up doing responsible things but I believe the child in all of us is still there, yes this brings back memories, glad to be sharing this with my kids
Awesome! This was one of my favorite cartoons and toylines from the '80s. I remember getting the Thunderhawk, Switchblade and Boulder Hill toys for Christmas. My dad actually bought a used Hurricane at the flea market for himself because he loved 57 Chevys. I wasn't allowed to touch it but I used to play with it anyway. LMAO Thanks for uploading all of these. I've NEVER seen the second season.
Such an awesome pilot episode for this truly amazing 80's cartoon... and that theme song! :)) This brings up many great memories. Oh boy, what a golden era of legendary cartoons (among other great things) that was :)
Thanks for putting this up. Didn't watch this cartoon back in the day (was a big far or original Transformers). Nice to be able to see the episodes now. Not to mention your video and sound quality are top notch! This looks every big as good as the original TV broadcasts of the 1990s! Excellent work!
Intro music for 80's cartoons is unbeaten for sheer awesomeness. I don't remember much about the cartoons themselves but the intros are etched permenently in my brain.
thank you so much for the upload, i only had a single vhs of this when i was very young and watched it repeatedly. now that im going on 30 i am finally able to finish what had started oh so long ago hahaha

Why has this not been made into a live action movie? 80s cartoon were the best.
Thanks for posting.
😂😂😂because live action movies based on cartoons sucked and always tanked at the box office.
We dodged a bullet by them not making it a film; they f’ed up so many cartoons/games by making them live action films.
I grew up on this show. Thanks for having it here.
Brings back so many memories from my childhood! Great stuff!
30 years later, and this show still rocks. Simply one of the best TV series of the 1980s.
They should have 80s cartoons for us on cable TV.
That is an epic idea I truly don't understand why they don't it would be better than tons of stuff that's on TV
Nothing like the 80s

This was one of the most awesome cartoons of the 80s. Also listen to that catchy intro music. This was one of the gems of the 80s.
I am watching Jayce And The Wheel Warriors and M.A.S.K. in December 15, 1985.
Ah the 80's, the great age of the rift guitar.
Last decade when rock was king

MASK & Starcom animation still holds up. Oh we had great cartoons back than.
Compared to modern cartoons, 80's cartoon have smooth as silk animation. It's far from perfect art style wise but it holds up.
I feel sorry for those who wasn't a kid in the 80's
Yeah, I feel sorry for kids in the 1970s who had Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple instead of commercials pretending to be programmes.
Great bands, but I wasn't interested in music until I was around eleven years old, the same age I didn't play with my He-man figures anymore. :)
Are you asking about younger generations who were born in the 90's and 2000s?
The young generation can see them all now, was hard for us to catch all these episodes .. share to your kids !!
