do we have to be good at the sport to be able to join the sport society? i have an interest in volleyball but i haven't had a lot of practice so i'm not that good at it ..
I wasn't particularly good and I still got into the development. Only thing is whether you're willing to pay not participate in official matches. Otherwise there's always interhall which means sports between halls and they play pretty often. With au (official sports teams) there's usually a recruitment or trial process so they could potentially not take you but again interhall sports is free and they have volleyball group so you can always join that! Hope that helps!
Do you get placed into the same flat with international students (as an international student)?
It depends, I was with only people from the UK but other friends of mine were like 50% international so I'm not sure if it's about luck or whether they try to put international students together sorry...
Hey, what if you have resits, do you go back to the uk?
not too sure, you're gonna have to email your department for that but my guess would be no since everything is online now

Just applied with my IB predicted grades. I didn't apply for any scholarships because thankfully I didn't need any but there should be resources for that on the Loughborough website available
