I'm not an international student so I can't talk about what that is like, but what I will say from the perspective of a home student, is that a lot of universities take advantage of international students because of how much money they can make. Many don't actually care about helping those students integrate into university and whatever city they are in, which I can imagine is scary when you're in a foreign country on your own. My partner was an international student and was lucky that he had a full scholarship for tuition, but he also spoke of universities looking at him as a cash machine.

Daniel you are actually doing a good job but I think for this video to be more useful you should have stated those universal that are supportive and those that are not. Thanks any way.

Mate you're a star! TH-cam and google is probably working hard over the Uk universities analytics. But the truth is, it is an appalling education system. They only care to take your money that is all. CS at a top university here will leave you on self-study alone. Be careful what you wish for!

Daniel please do you have any idea on Northumbria university with regards to international student support and their payment plan. My place was deferred to January 2023, was suppose to resume this year, but my visa came out late and I arrived a day after my dead line, I was asked to go back since the head of my program has reported on the very day. That there was nothing they could do. Due to my experience I'm kind of uncomfortable going back there, but my deposit is still with them. Though admissions tried helping but I think the issue is with my program. Thanks in anticipation to your response.

I have a question
I worked in a company from 2028-2020, I resigned and worked somewhere else from 2020 till date. I won't be able to get a work reference from the first company but I can get from the second company.
Do I upload the current work reference I have or what to do?
In any case, you can always use your current employer as your reference

Hi Dan, I just got an offer letter from Sunderland university to study international business management, I hope am on the right track, more so, like how much can I put in my account for proof of found bcos am coming with my husband, so that my visas can be successfully.

Please, I want to ask if my tuition fee is 12k, and my course is a two year program, does it mean I will pay 12k for first year and another 12k for the second year?
The tuition fee for the 2 years duration of your program is £14k

I grew up there! Lived like 5 minutes away from the UEA 😅 As for questions I have no idea as I went to high school there.
I’m currently studying there. I actually love the school. They offer a lot of support and opportunities for international students. As for jobs most people go into health and support work. Norwich is a student town so it’s bustling during school term and very quiet once school closes cause everyone travels for the holidays except for people who already lived there and international who have nowhere to go. It isn’t cheaper than London in terms of living. Try to get accommodation before you move it’s a bit hard finding a house.

But before you apply for visa and school you are asked for proof of funds. So how come students are not paying their school fees? . If you are not careful UK won’t be as generous with international students in the future. Maybe they will ask for 100% upfront

Who cares how much we generate do you know the amount of Inidians and Chinese that apply, my cousin in Nigeria has his admission withdraw from two schools in the UK because he didn’t pay the deposit as fast as other students.

Please I got an offer from Northampton, June Intake. Payment plan is 9 months upon resumption after 5K deposit. From your experience, is it possible to pay a balance of 8500 from working within 9 months.

From my own point of view
University of Stirling
University of Dundee
Teeside University
University of South Wales
GCU does 8 installments.
Stirling does 12.
Uni of Lincoln does 7 but there's 50% payment on enrollment here.

This payment structure thing 50% on enrolment iis applicable to University of Sunderland (your Uni) Got an offer to pay 3500 deposit & 50% on enrolment. I had to decline the offer cos it wasnt favourable to me, and i dont want to come over and go through any form of payment harrasment and financial stress. Abeg
Good you declined the offer. Sunderland is one of the worst schools when it comes to tuition payment. They will literally frustrate your life. Speaking from experience. Consider teeside uni, that's one uni I am sure has flexible plan.

How dare you complain? You are among the most financially privileged in Britain: you don't get a loan from the UK Government, which means that you ACTUALLY have the money. International fees are FAR higher than home tuition fees, reaching as high as 30k.
