Knowledge sharing is the foundation that the internet was built upon. So much online content is saturated with mindless, dark, negative trash. Even though I'll never build one of these at least I learned something. Vids like these bring positivity in so many ways (not just the electrical charge :)

Even cooler to see the screw not Turing, and power still being supplied, amazing! 🎉 😅 😅😅😅

I thought that was weird too, but the way the chains are spinning and where there is slack vs tension in them, the power flow has to be coming from the screw. I think there might be something in the outlet box to help store and even out the flow of electricity. LED bulbs are extremely power efficient and that fan didn't look like it was going full speed, so you could easily power them with minimal electricity.

This is prob one of the more legit looking experiments. As long as there's enough torque from the turbine to over power the magnet which there's no reason to think there isn't. It will generate electricity. It's only making a half an amp. The speed change when a load is applied is one of the tell tale signs whether is complete bullshit. This isn't a perpetual motion machine. Those are all bogus. But this is a proven way produce electricity. Since we use hydrodams almost universally

Very creative demonstration that shows clearly how to increase RPM at the generator, which is the major problem that needs to be overcome. Love the melting of plastic pipe to make the plastic sheets for impeller fabrication.
Notice how the RPM drops noticeably when a resistive load is placed on the generator's output. Converting screw mechanical energy into generator's electrical energy is coupled to whatever amount of resistance is applied as an electrical load. Electrical resistance acts just like mechanical resistance as far as screw RPM is concerned. (Think of riding your bicycle and then letting a friend sit on it with you. Much harder to peddle!)

It looks like a great solution to avoid gunked up gears! Has it been used in industrial applications before, and is longevity affected? Never seen it used this way. It's really cool!

Please show voltage readings from your volt-meter. When you don't show volt-meter readings, some of your projects look like scams!

That’s nice! But why all the extra gears?
The floating turbine has a shaft which can go directly to a little floating pontoon boat, which holds the generator.

Need to increase the RPM of the generator in order to generate a decent amount of electricity. Has to spin much faster than the Archimedes Screw is turning, so a series of gears is needed to increase final RPM speed.

Love it! With all the overdrive gears. What kind of rpm are you trying to achieve? Giving me ideas of my stream and I have around the same kind of flow

Maybe it's inefficient when it takes too much friction for it

What would be cool. The water has good speed. Cut a pipe in half, scoop up the water from one side, dig a pit, build a ( water ram pump ) no electricity needed. Push water up a hill, or up and into a holding tank on legs. Make a water wheel, to make current.

Would be interesting if you put the propeller inside a tube and should be better if you increase the intake with something like a funnel and put the propeller inside the output tube.
