Skillcultz on TH-cam shows eco friendly charcoal making. You make a Trench and burn wood as coals appear you add more wood so the lower coals don’t turn to ash. It burns hotter but clean and it makes better charcoal to use in the soil. Charcoal made in a setup in tbr video maybe made at a lower temperature if so then it can’t absorb as much as charcoal made in higher heat. Charcoal made in mounds are better to cook with though since they retain more energy but not good to use in gardens. It depends what you use it for.

1. All dried wood can make charcoal. However, if you need charcoal that needs higher firepower, it's better to make it into hard wood. 2.Block the entrance and keep it for about a week and observe the color of the smoke. If it went from murky white to blue white, most of the wood was burned and only charcoal was left.

Yes coz we have to do destructive distillation towards any substance to convert it to charcoal

Definitely they plant trees, because they need production of this
I'm really surprised how much labor is going into this. It can't possibly be profitable unless these guys are getting paid a very low wage

The wood gas does more damage than co2 by a long shot too
Wood gas can be burned off but I prefer to condense it into usable liquid. The smoke you saw coming out of the chimney was mostly steam.
Your pie hole does an equal amount of damage
