Great work, I loved this one. :) I know people have asked about why Jill doesn't go for girls but the explanation given about rewriting history makes me think that in the new past of altered universe 'Jill' was a straight woman - remember she was apparently friends with a girl Jack liked from school and had her profile up on the internet apparently to attract guys. I think the spell basically turned Jack from a straight guy into a straight gal. So even though Jill has all of Jack's memories and personality the... um... preferences are different.
Thank you, that's what we we're going for! And Jill might have even tried to go out with a girl, but the effect of the love spell was that men were really attractive to Jill, so we thought a side effect would be that women weren't attracted to Jill. Kind of like in the movie Love Potion Number 9.

In an early version there were a LOT more phone notifications and more text popups, but people I show it to said it became distracting, trying to read all the popups, so we cut them and the notifications, way down. The phone notifications got to be a little overwhelming, which is what I wanted, but it seem to stress out the viewers, which is what I was going for, but at the same time might have been really annoying to some people. Glad you liked it! :)

I did do a series once where it was two friends, and the first guy kept sending all the things that seemed bad to have the friend deal with them (weird emails, going on a suspicious blind date) and they'd always work out perfect for the friend, and the first guy always ended up loosing out. But yeah, in this case a guinea pig would have been a good idea.

LOL, no offense taken. I wanted to put something sort of 'magical' looking on the book, so just googled 'runes' and had my girlfriend add them to the cover. I figured 99% of the people wouldn't know what they mean. Maybe should have just made up our own stuff or combined to letters together, but it's hard sometimes when you're making your own props. Good catch out your part. ;)

There's seems to be problem when you buy magic items online, they either are 'one of a kinds' or the website 'magically' disappears after you've made a purchase. And he thought if he erased the mistake of getting the book, that would fix all the mistakes he made after that, but that didn't happen, so that was a mistake too.
