- In The Future, when body swapping is made easy, people pay other people to do things in their body's they don't want to do...such as go to the gym. But when Mark's normal trainer Bob can't make the appointment, he is surprised by the replacement, the beautiful Michelle. Now they have switch bodies and 'she' has left with Mark's body, and 'he' is left alone in her body at his house.

Really love the alternate ending choices James. That makes this one of your stand out pieces. I know it would be a lot of work and time, but I can see a whole series as a "choose your own body swap adventure" on the horizon. Keep up the amazing work!
I tried to do a whole 'choose your own adventure series" and was going to have it set up so the viewer could choose who they wanted to turn into, but that quickly turned into to much work for one person to do. What with all the story options and decision trees. I thought about starting more simply with just one right choice and one wrong choice, until you reached the end, but you need a REALLY dedicated cast to make that happen, which is hard to do for free and for TH-cam. One of the many reasons I was trying to do my patreon.... maybe some day.

2 is my favorite because that's how it would've been with how his luck was going lol doing something unintentionally bad. i like 3 because he was smart about it but considering he didn't remember the shirt he took pictures in I'm surprised he thought ahead XD overall this was great nice job
Thanks! Yeah, I guess if he'd thought about it, he could have checked his camera, but he was kind of in a hurry and didn't have time to think about it. And it made for a funny moment.

I like 3 and 4 if those 2 got combined it be a perfect ending. Have mark loving his new body and not fear having to give it up. Also he could always body swap out during time of the month.
I like ending 5. Though 3 and 4 are great too. Also I would have noticed the top colour change almost straight away if I was her. Good work nonetheless.
who knows maybe in 50 years this might be possible for real, it wouldn't surprise me at all if somebody invented it. it would be easier to go holiday without the hassle of getting on a plane. good video

Yeah Kelly's awesome. We actually meet at a screening of The Hit Girl years ago. And sadly, people don't really seem that interested in contributing to my patreon. I made these videos to show what I could if I got patreon support, but for one reason or another people aren't contributing.
You're giving away the milk for free. I think you need to hold back some content for patreon supporters only. That'll get people to sign up
Yeah, very true. The lack of success with Patreon, is just inspiring me to go do another feature, but to do that I have to step back from making TH-cam videos. I'm only one person and only have some much time in the day to work on things.

hi, great video!! I personally loved ending 5 when she stole his body. Can i make a suggestion/ideas for ur future videos? Since this got to do with futuristic body swap technology, humans in the future are able to select their favourite bodies through trading/buying/selling through agencies. This benefits rich people. However, it also gives rise to illegal body swap markets where people put bodies up for auction to the highest bidder. A guy having gambled away all of his savings got caught by one of the gangs and his body taken away from him, leaving him stuck inside a hooker. The video would show him adjusting to his life, finding his body or family and coming up with ways, e.g. using his body to make enoguh cash to earn back his body or find a better one.
That's an interesting idea! Not sure I could do it, but it has an interesting story.

got to hand it to you this is a well done skit. I think youight have something with the alternate endings. maybe you could do more but as an "choose your own adventure" style every link leads to an alternate ending or choice that effects the story and characters. personally I loved endings 3, 4,and 5 and maybe if other people liked those endings, maybe you could expand on them? anyway keep up the great work and major kudos to you and the team

Yeah, I tried to do a 'choose your own adventure' series YEARS ago, but the problem is it's so much work and get people to commit to a long running project "for fun" just didn't work out. Beside the filming work, it's also a lot of editing work too. This one took me quiet a while to put together, and I loved to do more like this, but it's also a lot of work, too.
+Three Degrees Off Center Productions I totally understand. it might be easier when scripting it out but filming and editing has to be hectic. I do video editing myself, so I get where you're coming from.
You totally get it then. One advantage I have since do it all (filming and editing), is when we're filming, I look for what I'm going to need when I edit, so once I see that, I know we can move on. And if I make a mistake and miss something, then I have to come up with a way to cover it, too, so I try not to make to many mistakes. :)

When it comes to the TH-cam videos, I am the crew. Obviously for my feature stuff I bring in more people, especially for The Hit Girl, and I think it really shows. But there's only so much one guy can do, which is why I was pushing my Patreon page, ideally I'd like to get another person to help me during videos shoots, but I'd need to pay them 'something', so that's what I've been trying to do.
Identity Theft I did a lot of the heavy lifting and I was so exhausted by the end of the days, especially when we'd do multiple days in a row...sometimes I'd wake up exhausted. With The Hit Girl, I had help, which made a huge difference for me, but on my next feature, I plan to get even more help.
I'd be great if I had some local people who wanted to help out, but found anyone really reliable. oh well.

Loved the endings
Great videos as always. Very well done with 5 alternate endings. My favorite is ending number 4, followed by ending number 3. Also wondering if your making anymore website of change videos? Keep up the excellent work.

Here is my thought on the endings. Ending 2 is the most logical and one that feels like a normal ending for one of your videos. Ending 4 is the most brutal, while ending 1 and 5 are basically the same with reversed roles. Ending is the one that works out for the best, albeit out of character at least for Michelle. I like the multiple endings idea and definitely think that is a way to go for some videos in the future, if you can work out something with someone who is willing to take a weekend out to film. Great couple of videos.
Thanks so much for the feedback. This took us about 12 hours on a Saturday to film all the parts. I've been wanting to do something with alternate endings or a "choose your own adventure" type of thing for years, but it creates a TON more work. I'm glad I finally got to do one, and hopefully will get to do more in the future. :)
Thanks again. Yeah, there were a lot of possible endings, but we had to keep it as 'simple' as possible for the purpose of filming. I had wanted to go to a second location for the ending of 3, having 'Michelle' walking down the street or having a coffee, when 'she' gets the text that she has 5 minutes to get home. But we didn't have time to leave to film that. It took us 12 hours to film all of this, so it was a long day and we were all exhausted (me anyway) by the end of the day.
Michelle is one of my favorite actresses in your films. Her accent when she was possessed by mark, it was hilarious. I do hope to see her in a future. Adding a little more comedy, but different story. As in of the endings, they kept " seeing each other as for training purposes but to one point, they started dating each other. They switch bodies when any of them needs a favor, or convenience etc. If not as a couple, then another alternative would be "room mates" for college, i think a college story would be great. This will fit perfectly for comedy.

Thanks so much! It was a fun day to film, had a great time. And that would be dangerous, which is why they keep it secret, but the person would have to be close to you, within 3 or so feet, so they couldn't swap at any time, but would have to get close to you to make it happen.

Tough choice - like #3 for the outfit but for continuing the story I would say #5. Maybe the company that offers the service got hacked (biometrics go out the window if you can swap bodies) and the hackers have stolen account info and passwords and are actually running the website.
Yeah, in this world, having your password stollen would be a really bad thing!

Hey James! Caught this gem again and was wondering if you could get the actress to make a sequel set 5 or so years later, using an alternate ending where he gets stuck in her body. Could be really interesting! Of course, you are busy, so maybe she could improvise a scene for a part 3 sequel.
HI Curt, glad you still enjoy the episode. I could possibly work with the actress again, she's in an episode of Quarantine Leap, but I can't leave the house to film with people for the foreseeable future. After 5 years, at some point you have to accept that's your life now, but there could still be some interesting things that you'd have to deal with. It's interesting, but I don't I'll ever get a chance to do it.
@@ThreeDegreesOffCenter Maybe she could do it at home as she did with QL. Her camera phone might be enough to capture the scene.
Basically the video is her in a room reminiscing...
Open with the older alternate ending that fits. Maybe an old clip of time passing like a speeding clock or calendar pages flipping months... And we are in the present day.
She is talking to her phone
"I'll see you in an hour then, dear!"
Looking at the phone she realizes it is 5 yrs past the last video ending. She sits down and talks to herself about the changes in the 5 years. (some scripted, some adlibbed)
At the end, she says that is enough of remembering the past, the future awaits. (Insert a baby crying)
"Jenny is up from her nap. And I have to get dinner ready. Her father will be home soon..."
Maybe you could fit a clothing montage of her getting ready to impress 'Daddy' whoever that its.
We see that adjustments have been made and she seems happy. ...and fade to black.

+Three Degrees Off Center Productions I love your videos and would like to financially back your channel. What kind of budget are you looking for per video (as the Patreon is phrased)?
It varies from video to video. I've never paid actors, which is why you see them on my channel for a while and then they move on. It's fun, but it's also a lot of work and there's only so much you can expect from someone for free. So ideally I'd like to start paying people, so I could have more control over who's in the videos and keep the ones I want around longer. Also there's other costs involved such as travel and food. Then there's props, if I use any. And I'd love to get someone on crew to help me film, but that is a totally thankless job, believe I know. The amount for a basic video I set was $150, but something like this video series would have been great to have $500 (for the whole thing). There's a lot I want to do, but as I hoped this video showed, I could do a lot more. As I've mentioned these videos took 12 hours to film and then I spent over a month editing and doing all the special effects during my free time. And if I could get more than the basic amount, I was hoping to also upgrade my computer and special effects software (over time). Hope that all makes sense. :)

Yeah, I talked to a CPA friend after I left the last message and there isn't a way to write this off on your taxes. No worries, thanks for thinking about it.
