    Magnificent timepiece; sporting a stunning green dial and elegant design to compliment the McGonigle Minute Repeater. As a fellow Irishman I congratulate Stephen's amazing accomplishments.

    Another fascinating insight to work of great craftsman (Stephen McGonigle), and of course the expert knowledge of The Naked Watchmaker (Peter Speake-Martin). Thanks for bringing us another excellent video Marc.

    Absolutely beautifully presented and finished, this level of watchmaking is way above even the work from the holy trinity, Stephen is obviously one of a small group of watchmakers that are truly at the top of their game, you may get as good but you won't get better, congratulations on an excellent piece of horological beauty.

      Absolutely, a minute repeater is my grail watch. As a musician its something I would love beyond most peoples comprehension... however as a musician its a very unlikely reality financially speaking :/ . But who knows if my company takes off I may fly my private jet to Ireland and get one of these made for me :D
      What's the pricetag on this particular peace? Any idea?

    "Beautiful handmade 1 of 6 minute repeater time pieces...." Get the hammer and chisel! Mad and brilliant!

  • @lawrencelibby3607
    @lawrencelibby3607 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It occurs to me that the hammers always strike the gongs in the exact same location, hence they must create some kind of dent over time, or the hammers are softer metal and relatively easily replaced.
