Superb video, so relaxing I fell asleep and woke up some time later. Picked it up quickly though and my wife came in the spare room where I was watching it and said ‘are these two still nattering on about bloody nurled switches’
That is a sharp interior. I appreciate it without a sunroof-it makes the ceiling more elegant with that uninterrupted expanse of voluptuous oxblood leather.
Morgan keep it very quiet that they don’t do all their own bodywork now, my parents went on the factory tour and someone asked the question and the guide moved on very quickly.
Having grown up contantly having to crawl into the back seat of a 2-door car, I would never in a million years spend 200K for a car with a back seat and only two doors.
After all the talk of eating well suiting the Bentley, I can't wait to see the next episode featuring the typical Smith and Sniff lunch of pre-packaged sandwiches.
Lads. You might not be able to hear this due to your ancient hearing but all in car pieces in this excellent video have a loud incredibly high pitched whistle. Not unlike an old TV warming up or an alarm to stop “youths” from congregating. I can’t listen to it for more about 30 secs. You need to de-whistle it.
Playing from the VAG playbook, how about a Continental GT Evo, with the 919 Evo V4 hybrid engine? Might help with the weight distribution and lower the centre of mass.
It'd be interesting to get your opinions on Aston Martin, given their financial issues. I really want to like them, but always end up thinking something else would be better.
It's not really in the same league, but this Vs a 911.. I think I'd be trying to see what I could get for similar money via Singer. Even if it was only a half finished car.
Now knowing that interior colour, I'd be tempted to rub my crotch on the bolsters before sitting down, I would also be very tempted to pick at the stitching. Howzat?
Is that MrJWW's now long termer? I was only thinking last night that I hate driving modes - too much fakery - and feels like they dumb things down so you can then press a switch to put it right again 🙄
MFB. Motional Feed Back Aka: A really bad idea for designing louidspeakers that got a lot of success. Pretty sure that's not what they mean, but that's what the abbreviation is for. Pretty car, the Bentley. I would rip that sticker off the sunvisor though, but maybe I'm just not getting it.
You do realise it's actually a W12 not a V12 and also the W12 suits the Modern Bentleys more than the V8s, the V8s make them feel "underengined", when a car has an engine that is too small for it, ie Toyota GR Corolla
Presumably Paul McCartney has a fancy Shimamoku wood steering wheel: th-cam.com/video/mabO5t5alK0/w-d-xo.html (I'm sure they could fill in the palm sections with more wood)
Interesting fact: It's actually a "Peter Kay" gearbox. He worked at Porsche for a few years. Definitely a true story.
Dario, I think he means Peter Kay of Kay's catalogue fame.
It is so weird to watch a car review filmed in your local area.
The grand tour never drove past my nans house

Feature length version .. excellent .. very entertaining ..
Graham Tuson Too long?
@@TheLateBrakeShow No, not at all .. I usually feel they end too soon ..

Best ending ever, Jonny scores a perfect bell-end ten!
That smooth luxurious ZF 8-speed auto is also fitted to the VW Crafter van, with a 2l diesel. :) It's quite nice, for a van.
Lovely reviews and very detailed. Different from others on TH-cam
Superform (who do the superformed panels for them and Morgans) aren't even German, they're based in a dingy industrial estate in Worcester
That's cool. I thought Superform was a kind of sports bra.
Morgan keep it very quiet that they don’t do all their own bodywork now, my parents went on the factory tour and someone asked the question and the guide moved on very quickly.

Just to add to your editing workload but any chance you can cut to particular features when discussing them? - F'instance rear lights at 25:35?
After all the talk of eating well suiting the Bentley, I can't wait to see the next episode featuring the typical Smith and Sniff lunch of pre-packaged sandwiches.
nauthizzz I think there is lunch in the next ep - yes.
What a couple of champions, two mates out for a casual road trip and talking rubbish!
The thick end of £200k doesn't buy much rear legroom if 0:10 is anything to go by.
well im 6 foot 1 and i can fit in one at a squeeze

Ben D Ah. Sorry. Right, I will investigate.
CARPERVERT I was thinking it might be an optional extra on the Bentley, to stop the wrong type of Hoi Polloi from driving your car 😜
CARPERVERT there’s a slight hum but it’s not major enough to stop me watching..
Can't hear that at all. Have a word with Olfi. Though it might be the car trying to keep its dessert wine down.
Oh happy days, sit down with me bacon butty and youtube graces my screen with this. Couldn't get much better than that.
You're always driving around Stansted you two.. You should pop in for a cuppa one time. Your biggest fan; this is Stan.
I was wondering where it was, because my experience of Herts is Welwyn/Stevenage/Letchworth and I didn't recognise any of that.
45 minutes Christmas has come early and so have I
Excellent vid gents, rate these longer form videos
A new S and S video makes Friday great:)
Nearly a review!, lol, great stuff as always guys. Good start to my Friday!
I'd love more of these long videos. Maybe do another EV like the iPace you covered please
I just discovered this channel. Great stuff! Thanks Gents.
W12 is a packaging solution to allow a 12 cylinder engine to fit on the quattro drive train. According to Mr Metcalfe.
11:40, i know you guys arent Chris Harris Car Jockey short but, dam that leg room in the back if a challenge, especially as you aint giants either
I'd pay good money to see Smith get in the back. Is there an actual footwell back there because if there is, its wasted space
Was that a Quentin impression at the beginning?
andreas photiou I know.
A bit long, so I had to watch it in the shower!... nice car lads.. (Phil)

I want a whole review in the style of Quentin Willson. 45 minutes of flowery euphemisms and complete contradictions. Mid 90's Top Gear. Please.
Seconded. I always liked his cameos on TG.
Gotta disagree with the AM V8 spec preference. I'm a blanked in grille man every day of the week! Love these videos so much. Been watching all PM haha
Gentlemen! the car you are thinking of would be an S class coupe AMG 63, don't know if it would get close but it's about the only serious competition.
Alastair Blair s-coupe is a wise choice.
"Bugger me that's brilliant". 😁
wow, where can i get one of those "Alan Cantara" steering wheels Jonny? Sounds awsums! ;-)
Max Torque I know him. He’s a top guy.
'not sure if I like this because I am getting older' cut to a grandad wave to another bentley but saved with mortification
I think Bentley should use the V8 hybrid system from the new Porsche’s! Think it would work well tbh.
Where were you driving the BCGT? Keep looking out for familiar landmarks, but it all looks familiar...
I heard it at the beginning during a replay... Hertfordshire.
Perhaps also and AMG S-Coupe would be a good competitor.
It'd be interesting to get your opinions on Aston Martin, given their financial issues. I really want to like them, but always end up thinking something else would be better.
That high pitched noise is like a 45 minute filling,
Hasn't this got the same performance figures as the DBS?
Does Jonny get to drive cars on this channel?
44:44 For Shame, Sir!
Alan Cantara :-)
Just realised Jonny is wearing a Gatebil merch jumper.

I'd smear half of each seat with polo-minty drool.

48's not 45's.....nice detail!
How on Earth has Jonny not heard of "package protected"?
*SUPERFORMING!*
I could waffle about cars so much, then get distracted.
Keep miss hearing the word conti!
Gatebil was a surprising touch.
AkaAndyKnuckles I filmed there once and was entered into the drift championship as a wildcard.
AkaAndyKnuckles I filmed there once and was entered into the drift championship as a wildcard.
So why doesn't Johnny like V12s?
Jon Connorton I don’t hate them, but I just rarely find them more satisfying than decent V8s - especially nowadays.

I was thinking the rear view looks like the mk1 Granada Coupe.
Duane Barr Now there’s a legendary machine worthy of a future episode.
“Package protected” sounds like a rejected slogan for Trojan Condoms.
Who is this Sue Performing of which you speak?
Check out all that rear leg room...!
What about it? I see plenty of space!
...for one person.
...sitting sideways.
More knurling talk please
No, Bentley’s 928....
It’s just a bloody VW Phaeton, get over it!
Another episode of watching with american eyes and expecting them to get in an accident with absolutely every vehicle that appears

Sam Patankar What do you mean? I don’t understand.
