Ladies in our age bracket suffer with symptoms like the one you mentioned due to Menopause and the Drs aren't telling us women about this at all. They run a million test all to tell us everything is fine. Glad you had the test done! I would go to a Menopause Specialist and some natural supplements will usually help with ALL these weird symptoms we have. I found a channel by a lady named Kari Wright on TH-cam that has helped me tremendously and she's very knowledgeable. I just wanted to share with you in hopes it would help, God bless!
Also Donna you may want to add some magnesium to your daily supplements. The brand Calm magnesium powder is great with helping with those palpitations. I swear by it!

Ms. Donna have you tried Nielsen•Massey - Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste? It’s expensive, but worth it. I buy mine from Walmart in the 32 ounces bottle. It is a game changer! You will find yourself calling up all of your Sister-friends telling them to buy theirs from Walmart too!😂👍

I use a hand mixer and whip my butter and sugar the full 10 minutes. It does make a difference. Love watching y’all.😊😊. The fat content is higher with the sweetened condensed milk and Irish butter.
Ms. Donna, I totally agree with you regardingy the Kerry Gold butter, and I have been baking for many years (over 70) . I am not impressed at all by it. I think the Sam's Club butter gives me that good flavor that we look for in our baked goods. I'm only impressed by the price differences!

I've also tried Darigold, and it's good too :) In a rum cake I made, I was surprised at the difference it made! It was the best tasting cake I've made 🤤

Hey, Ms. Donna: almost seventy year old Gigi, who has been baking since 12 years old. We used to get our butter from the farm, freshly churned. Kerry Gold reminds me of that in my cakes. I use Sam's brand butter just for my family, but if taking a cake to a function, I use Kerry Gold. Also, I am definitely a Crisco girl to grease my cake pans.

I think Kerrygold butter shines in recipes where the butter is the donimant flavor or adds a distinctive quliaty. so for instance on buttered bread, big differnce b/n that and great value. also, in shortbread cookies, major differnce since its literally only like 3-4 ingredients. but i buy grassfeed butter b/c its pretty much the same price as the cheaper stuff. at Costco Kirkland grassfeed butter is $5lb. Great Value butter and almost all other butters are $4-$5 lb and not grassfeed nor have the higherfat %.

I haven't started baking pound cakes but when I move I will. My son bought me a Kitchen-Aid but I don't want to open it until I move. Hey Mrs. Donna, so glad that you are feeling better. Couple months ago I had a trip to the emergency room with the symptoms that you was having. All my test came back negative as well. Went to the heart doctor, and did stress test, everything was good there. She said to laid off of caffeine ( soda, tea, coffee) so I went to decaf and water. That is what I did. I'm not a doctor or telling you to switch but that is what worked for me. I did enjoy the video, and will have to make this cake with the butter I already have. You and dude #1 have a bless week.

The last cake you did with the sweetened condensed milk you used 4 sticks of butter. This cake you used 3 sticks instead. That might be why it was different and not as buttery as Dude #1 said. BTW I'm Shakera in Chesapeake VA. Love y'all! 😊

I think that bc you don't use KG on a regular basis, the difference in flavor or taste was harder to pinpoint bc of the use of cream cheese and the sweetened condensed milk. Using two control cakes, both regular plain pound cakes(one with regular butter, the other with KG) probably would have made it easier to detect a difference.
Yes, and if it turns out good. I'll try it too, to see if there is a difference. My 7-up cake has always turned out great. And another thing I would like for you to do for me, is to make a Strawberry, Lemonade pound cake. (not lemon, but lemonade.) Mine haven't been coming out too good. Hi Donna, I was watching this video and I watched the previous but I didn’t notice if you used the same flower in the first take as you did in the second take. I have noticed that the swans down flower always leaves a flakier crumb that I personally don’t prefer in my poundcake. That is the very reason I choose not to use it for pound cake recipes period. and I’m wondering if you change the flower you use from one cake to the other. It does make a difference.

Thats a pretty yellow inside reminds me of my grandma when she used to make her pound cakes. Thats why i love when you make pound cakes.

Hey Mrs. Donna will you try making a margarine pecan pound cake, you know making a poundcake with margarine instead of butter and see how it turns out for you. I made one and it turned out almost like a banana bread consistency or like a sticky bun. It was really good, but it took longer to cook.

I think I'm over beating or something. I'll bake according to directions but the insides are still wet. What am I doing wrong? I'm measuring right, I think. I'm just lost! When I use the Kergg gold butter I use 1 stick of kg and 2 sticks of reg butter.
To me the flavor of the Kergg Gold it is too strong to use by it self. What is the effect of not using the baking power?

Hi Donna, I was watching this video and I watched the previous but I didn’t notice if you used the same flower in the first take as you did in the second take. I have noticed that the swans down flower always leaves a flakier crumb that I personally don’t prefer in my poundcake. That is the very reason I choose not to use it for pound cake recipes period. and I’m wondering if you change the flower you use from one cake to the other. It does make a difference.

Hi Ms. Donna, Could you tell me what kind of mixer you are using in this video? I love it and would love to have one. I tell my husband all the time I hate to make cakes because of the hand held mixers. I don't like the the stand mixers either because they don't mix things well, splash everywhere, and are awkward. Miss Donna thats a 90s pound when churches used to have pews, fans with martin luther king jr face & funeral home advertisements on them, and the mothers used wear the white lace dolly their purse fill with everything you needed, pond cake. Thats a pretty yellow inside reminds me of my grandma when she used to make her pound cakes. Thats why i love when you make pound cakes.

I have tried making pound cakes with Kerry gold and honestly, I prefer land o lakes above them. Overall, I am not impressed with Kerry gold. To each his own ❤.

Hey Mrs. Donna will you try making a margarine pecan pound cake, you know making a poundcake with margarine instead of butter and see how it turns out for you. I made one and it turned out almost like a banana bread consistency or like a sticky bun. It was really good, but it took longer to cook.

Hi Ms Donna, I'm new to making pound cakes. I've been following you for some time now and I'm having a issue. Can you tell me how long you're supposed to beat the batter in total. I think I'm over beating or something. I'll bake according to directions but the insides are still wet. What am I doing wrong? I'm measuring right, I think. I'm just lost!
