- hello, everyone.
my stay here was lovely and relaxing. on my last day, i should have taken advantage of the songkran, thinking it was lasting many days . I now understand that songkran is only on so many days in thailand. Bangkok can be 4 days . bangla road phuket 2 days . pattaya, maybe 6 days . From the 11th till the 18th or more . Time to move on to my next destination 😊🙏

1100 baht for a smaller room.
200 baht extra, every morning for breakfast .
my flight from Bangkok Airport to phuket cost a total of 3617 baht .
my luggage cost extra because i had 20 kg to bring with me as well .

@@jay.b. some will stare or have a look but what you will find is, some are just interested to see you, others will glance, you'll notice it and think they are watching but after 2 seconds they will get on with their day. Most people will just ignore you and get on with their day! In Asia everyone is used to a blogger, it's normal, so don't even worry about it, they think it is cool to see. In Europe... it is a bit different. So forget them, and just open up. Best is just to make a conscious decision not to care and just do it!

Pattaya is miles cheaper than Phuket. Enjoy Phuket but try Pattaya out as well see what you think

I went to Cambodia and Vietnam from Thailand this Xmas just gone it was fantastic, great food, hotels and entertainment was very cheap, then went to Macau china for 4 nights which was a fantastic experience if you like to gamble, good travelling blogs keep up the good work

Phuket airport is certainly a lot bigger now than when I visited in 2003!! :) Enjoy your time there...

@@jay.b. Not sure if you're planning to go out to any of the islands - I remember Koh Lanta as a nice place, but that was before the tsunami - not sure what it's like now. Enjoying your videos Jay!
@CaldonianDude i did think about visiting the islands, but not sure about the weather. At the moment, the winds are getting stronger . There are so many places to visit. Koh lanta sounds nice . I keep this in mind . Thank you for you help and support 🙏 😊

The sky bar looked great . I do like an evening beer listening to live music with. Enjoy Phuket. See how you feel. If you wanna stay longer just go with the flow. Traveling to neighbouring countries will be great fun. Depending on how much time you have I would rather fly. Just for convenience. If you like looking at the countryside then yeah go for the train/bus

After you e done Phuket , give Koh Chang a go it’s fantastic and a lot cheaper than Phuket 👍

You can get there by bus from Pattaya or Bangkok, then a ferry over there is no airport on Koh Chang, or fly from BKK to Trat then a taxi or bus from Trat airport to the ferry it’s only half an hour on the ferry and it’s fantastic, most of the trips from Pattaya or Bangkok will include the ferry and bus 👍

White sands beach or Kai Bai are in my opinion the best areas but each to their own you can get around the island on the Baht buses 👍
