I love the new camera with a tracker/sensor function!
Kevin, your phal can hold blossoms for more than three months! They’re amazing that way. Their roots don’t mind an airy bark mix, but I’ve also grown them in LECA and also just sphagnum moss. The size of your new leaves show that they’re happy. I wouldn’t worry so much about the ‘aerial’ roots being dry. I water them when I soak the substrate and it works fine.

Love the new 📷! On the purple tinge on your phal, I believe it's anthsinin (sp). Usually found in plants with purple in the 35:40 blooms. Also, the roots that are outside of the pot that are sliver/gray is normal because they are not getting enough humidity. Sometimes, I will just wrap a wet paper towel around them when I'm watering them. Great video as usual, and enjoy your VACATION ❤

Question for your BMF video, please! A lot of people say BMF is a slow grower, but yours seem to be growing quickly. Do you attribute the growth to the lighting / semi-hydro setup you have? I believe yours started out as a somewhat medium sized single node cutting, which might grow faster than the tissue culture BMF a lot of people are getting today (I have 3). Do you have any experience with tissue culture BMF? Thank you for the variety of information on the BMF! You're the only one doing longer format videos about it, and I'm here for it!

The new camera looks good on my phone screen but on the TV I notice how sensitive the autofocus is and the slight movement during refocusing is giving me motion sickness on a larger screen. 😭
