The gift of photography ~ from Bandon, Oregon

- A few weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday by giving myself the gift of photography in one of the most beautiful locations I've been to: Bandon, Oregon. The west coast is filled with little gems, but this one is in my opinion one of the best. Incredibly beautiful rock formations, perfect weather, wildlife, and far enough from everything so it doesn't get as crowded as other locations.
It was, indeed, the perfect gift.

Your channel is about still photography, but.... damn, you're a fine filmmaker.
Exactly my thoughts. He could very well successfully gig as a DP on films if he wanted.
Very nice, thank you.
We are headed to Bandon in a few days to visit my sister; we've gone often over the past 30 years. It's just gorgeous, as is much of the Oregon coast, but I'd say Bandon is tops. I have a couple of fairly low tides at sunrise to look forward to, just right for walking among the sea stacks.
Watching this made me remember to get the tripod in the car.
As others have observed, the lack of talk is splendid, and makes you realize how yakky other videos are.
Your no music videos are getting better and better. I love how immersive and relaxing they are and appreciate the (extra?) time you took in creating them.
Typical photo-channels are about photographing, but Adrian's channel is about photographs ... I like it wery much.
This absolutely blew my mind. The photos, the film, the loneliness, and the rewards. Stunning.
Adrian, your eye for composition and post processing is exceptional...love these photos
Love the picture with the seagull gives it a sense of scale
That is one of the most beautiful film I have watched in a long long time!
I Love your work, your shooting philosophies your thought processes. I take y morning coffee with your images. Thank you

I really enjoy all your videos but these silent ones are so relaxing. Great photos as always.

Fantastic photos from a fantastic location !
I love your ‘silent’ videos. 😜
awesome
Fabulous photos as always but particular fav was pelican silhouettes on the rock
Beautiful 😍😍😍
Adrian great shots, thank you for sharing...
I really appreciate that you've chosen to utilize the sounds of nature rather than some canned music that doesn't fit the mood.
I like your style.
I absolutely love the pelicans on the rocks. very graphic. Lovely video. I'll be in Oregon in April for a couple of days of shooting. Looking for spots and you're added Bandon to my short list.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy your time there, it's a beautiful state no matter where you go. That being said, the stretch of coast from Bandon to Brookings is something else. Just stunning.
I love beaches on days like that ....
Superb - you’re going to have to tell us how we can get that book Adrian
Eloquent!
Great video. Do you always photograph with your lens wide open?
You should consider becoming a cinematographer 👏🏻
Rain has been a big part of your vlogs lately 😁
May I have information to your rental cabin near by
Do you usually shoot in color and then apply a preset in lightroom or you use the monochrome mode in camera? (I think that only apply on jpeg and not on raw)
@Frank Silvers his own preset of course
If you checkout Adrian's older vlogs you'll find a couple which go through his editing process Hope that helps.
@Frank Silvers of course
@@timbrown5304 yep he use his own preset
Pity you couldn’t get a seagull in one of the rock pictures to give it a sense of scale.
Michael Kenna has nothing on Adrian.
Sorry... pelican
I miss your voice
