I have a 3ds and I don't want the switch right now,but whenever I see some great games like super mario odyssey and Mario kart 8 deluxe it makes me feel like wanting it.
Charles has had such a blast with this role, and it's been an absolute delight. On one hand, I'll miss stuff like this. But on the other, it makes them all the more special.

I remember watching this every single day when i was in the 4th grade waiting for my 3ds to be bought by my big brother from canada for months.. how nostalgic!
Now if this were done with his voice from The Super Show, he'd sound very different, Mario's game voice is all happy and childish, while his cartoon voice makes him sound like an actual plumber, I like both. But with this change to the original trailer in general gives a wider appeal to all the fans with his accent and pronunciations.

When most ppl say it wouldn't, they mainly connect that to the fact that he only says quick sounds and phrases like "Wahoo" and "Let's a go!" in the games (which are typically 5-6 hours long). Point is, I'm pretty confident they wouldn't just make him repeat a bunch of catchphrases in a feature film. Lol
No thanks, this type of voice acting only works for short catchphrases like the video games, nintendo noticed how annoying this would be in a full feature film and made the right decision
