Your trick helped me out, i found out you don't need to do the mist transformation you just need the potions and the push cirle right after the transformation back into Alucard
I have the jewel to open, but I can’t open the last door. Do I have to turn back into Alucard? I tried pressing every button as the mist, bat and the wolf. Help me plz (:
You're supposed to run through this with spike breaker armor but this vid is just a trick on how to do it without it. Basically you'll need to transform back to alucard and use a potion so he can open the door without having to take damage from the spikes.

Nemesis Just go up to the blue door, turn into mist form if you’re not already. Turn back to Alucart, and as soon as you do take a healing potion. Just tried there and it worked fine.
using a potion grants alucard a few seconds of invincibility, so even spikes won't deal damage, you use that few seconds to go through the sealed door.
This doesn't work in the PSP version in DXC, because you aren't allowed to go from Bat to Mist like that, since to go to Mist, its R + L so the game just doesn't let you auto turn, you either go to Wolf or just change back to Alucard, then to Mist, so its impossible to get through here without the Spike Breaker in that version.
@@angelbless45 You just need the "power of the mist" which is located below final boss of the original castle. Then you can mist your way for the first half, and do the other normally (Bat > instant use of healing item)
Am I a badass to admit that I actually tried this on my first playthrough & succeeded? Multiple tries of course, but I managed to get it, & I didn’t have the spike breaker. I’m impressed I pulled it off to begin with.
I skipped this and just beat Richter. One you have the double AND high jump it's laughably easy to keep jumping over him and land a hit from behind on the way down.

@@chainsawplayinit’s not a mist gate it’s a blue magic gate which essentially is a normal door at this point I think
@@DaBears08 There actually are both - a mist check and a blue door.
I just did it, it's pretty easy to walk through the door, then just mash R2 to go into bat form. Alucard will do it quickly enough.

I used summon spirit that kindly opened the door for me

It's not impossible, just use mist all the time so you fly and pass through the first gate of the hall

I thought you had to fly through with the bat form, but yea you need the spike breaker armor,, I forgot about that
