Thanks for watching, Gabriele! I really like it in that „brighter manner“ - I‘m just imagining the crowd peaking and turning heads as they try to get a glimpse of the queen announced by the trumpets/oboes 😄
Absolutely magnificent how you play that. I have the music and have been practising but I am sorry not to have seen this music when I was much younger and more capable of learning how to play it. Anyway it is with great pleasure to hear you playing anything @Paul Fey.
I love this piece so much ! You played it wonderfuly well, It reminded me the interpretation Richard Mc Veigh did on his channel some months ago. Congratulations to you Paul !
Thank you as always Sir Paul. As said, here in California I have the joy of waking up to your music every morning, and it puts me in a good mood for the day's work at church. Am happy to say that our church may be getting Hauptwerk for the first time this Springtime. Joy !
As ever, a splendid performance on the glorious Marcussen of Händel's much-loved (certainly at weddings!) "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba". Your registration was masterful, Paul - I really believed you had added an oboe to the organ's stop list! Such joyful music - a great hallmark of you channel whether it be your own wonderful compositions or the great music of the masters. Thank you and bravo!
This sinfonia from Händel’s oratorio is bright and your playing adds an extra layer of joyfulness to it. Sounds like an orchestra would be playing and yet you play it with such an apparent ease. I bet Solomon had employed you to play this masterpiece to welcome the Queen of Sheba who is said to have been in search of witness and wisdom.
Well, I was reading below that you were a pianist before taking up the organ and I am once again amazed at the plasticity of the youthful brain. Playing the piano requires but two dimensions but the organ requires three, and although my much older mind performed the first two tolerably well, adding the third was nearly impossible. Yet, here is your youthful self performing all the dimensions equally well, although I did notice that you have the habit of placing one foot on top of another when in repose. And so I envy you just a bit. By the way, today was penguin day! I like the color scheme.
Thank you, Steven! True - the organ is a bit more demanding with its three dimensions, but I have to admit, that it took me some time aswell to get along with the pedalboard. And yes - crossing the feet is a bad habit I‘ve got - haven’t missed any pedal-notes yet though 😄 Oooh that‘s exciting - I didn’t know about the day. Well - quite fitting to celebrate it with this piece! 😁🐧
Ah! It's such a nice performance to listen to. I'm very impressed by your performance now. Thanks a lot! I like this cheerful and bright music very much. So Bach's BWV531 is also my favorite!
Es fällt mir schwer meine Begeisterung in Worte zu fassen. Das ist eines meiner Lieblingsstücke was du so perfekt gespielt hast. Danke, danke Paul !!!!!
Love, love, love your presentation of this wonderful piece. I love watching you play - you are so expressive in all you movements. Even the eyebrows get into the act!
Bravo Paul - such a splendid performance with a really wonderful clean registration! :) Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your videos being released!! :)
Very smooth on your modern instrument. I like it. This piece really exposes the smooth (or not) touch of the musician and the personality of the organ. Nice job.
Love it Paul - you resist the temptation to rush it - I wanted to have it for our wedding but my wife said no- ps love those socks will send you money for more next month- love the combination of the echo stops- hope your studies are going well your playing certainly is best wishes from Australia.
Loved the registration Paul. Memories for me here. My piano tutor taught me how to play piano duets starting with this. Holding to the right tempo throughout was murder. Chaos loomed easily - and as a young teen I was quite happy to go chasing for disaster.....Still the case for many who perform it. Of course you have it spot on - as ever....
Thank you! 😊 Oooh, that‘s a tough one to start with. I played it relatively early aswell and had the exact problems you described - it has gotten a lot better but it‘s still not perfect every time 😄
@@PaulFey The tricky ones reward huh? I haven't seen a Hauptwerked Nimrod (Elgar Enigma variations) yet. Often you get a 'normal' performance. Rarely a spectacular. Pace it; get the cresc and dim right etc. Perhaps you have it on your list for arrangement?
Thank you! I‘ve thought about that aswell but I‘m not sure which topics I could cover without copying Richard from Beauty in Sound. What would you like to see? 😊
Nicely done. Love the socks. Keep up your excellent study.
Thanks Joe! 😊
One of the brightest executions I have ever heard

Very good interpretation and nice tempo, not too fast.
Thank you!! 😀
You are awesome!!!
Thanks 😄
Great job!
Thanks :D
brilliant
Thank you!
Paul, why the ear muffs. Are they noise cancelling or just to help reduce the sound level?
They are just a part of my headphones. I like to play with headphones rather than speakers - this also annoys my neighbors less :)
Hermoso
