This very first tip is the one that I really wish some players would understand. The amount of times ivw said "I dont like this fight" "This fight isnt worth it there are lots of teams around" If some people would just listen to me when i say these things it would save lots of points but it's okay in the end. I primarily solo que and I havent pushed past diamond since season 6 of br because it always felt so brutal to even try. This season seems a bit better and honestly the changes are a lot better for the casual experience in my opinion it gives the best of the best less incentive to stomp people just trying to grind out masters when they get much fewer points.
@@klipzgod1503 nah I love to fight but I also know when to fight if a fight drags on you get third partied in ranked you have tk play to win to gain good points I also did hit masters last split and have hit masters in arenas both splits already so I think I am fairly skilled
Some words of advice I’d like to add: Always keep in mind your positioning when it comes to any fight, especially a 3rd party. You don’t want to be caught in a bad position trying to 3rd party, by a 4/5th party. Positioning and staying alive is better than getting some kp most of the time. KP is important but something to keep in mind is that KP will come to you the closer you get to the final circle. 99% of the time, you can’t win without killing the final squad so be patient. Another, keeping the team alive is more important than anything else most of the time. If your teammate gets knocked early but they’re far, go for the revive and stick with it as long as your safe. You want to fight on an even playing field as often as you can, unless you have the advantage. Also, always heal up before looting unless it’s for a shield swap. Don’t die immediately after a fight because a 3rd party killed you while you were low. Don’t be a lot goblin and prioritize the win, not the glory of losing with 10 kills. Also always be aware of your teammates position. If you go into a fight and get knocked while your teammates are too far to help, you basically just sealed the fate of your team. Don’t be greedy, be patient. If your vantage is far back cause she’s sniping them, don’t run in without them being aware. Be smart, play to stay alive. Lastly in my personal experience, don’t trust your teammates will make the right call most of the time. Be smart. Don’t expect your random teammates to be on the same page as you. Communicate as much as possible but assume they have you and your pings muted. You may have had the greatest engage of all time where you knocked one and cracked the other two, but if your teammates can’t help you out, you’re now stuck in a bad position surrounded by the other team
I love how many ppl out there just never say a word, and only type or open mic to insult u for not perfectly reading their intention when they are dead
I was hardstuck at gold last season and after watching your tips, i have reached diamond with more than 2 weeks left this season but i have to stop since i have upgraded my mouse and headphones to Logitech Pros and i had to take time to develop muscle memory. Of all the tips i learned from you amd made me improve my gameplay is to focus on the target and not on the crosshairs, proper repositioning and how to properly use a specific legend. Yes but let's not forget how trash Seer was before that buff he got. Oh wait.... It wasn't a buff it was one guy playing him on stream and finally realising most people were wrong about him for so long.
If you dont have valk, land center of map. If you have valk, play edge. I play blood when we wanna play scan, so I usually land on "shitshow hill". It's the no name hill next to containment. The loot is good enough, there is rarely a contest and you can rotate to anywhere on the map to 3rd (it's next to jumptower, labs, cage, containment, capacitor). It has crafting, as well a ulti charge tower. It's in the middle of the map, so you will always have zone. It's one of the most consistent POIs that I have found on KC. This place only works if you plan to 3rd every fight you see tho. The loot is not good enough to just camp, so you have to fast rotate to kill people.
To be honest, solo q-ing got the best of me this season. Had a crazy run up to diamond 2, but dropped down to diamond 4 in 2 days. Sometimes i played like utter bullcrap, sometimes my team mates let me down. I'll try again next split.
I solo que to diamond using Crypto only because just in case my teammates die I can get their banners back. Seer is alr but when I play someone other than crypto, I feel something missing so, of it depends on the player and not the legend

Took a break since season 11, came back at the end of season 13 and decided to try ranked for the 2nd time ever in season 14, hit Plat 2, hit a wall and got demoted to Plat 3 and can't get out of Plat 3. Literally no matter what we do nothing works, Team comp doesn't matter, drop/number of people/weapons off drop make no difference, aggressive or passive doesn't matter. Nothing works. I give up
Sometimes, you'll decide you don't like ranked and you need to improve your fps killing ability and other mechanics . My K:d went way up when I stopped playing ranked. I definitely feel like I improved a lot from last season . You learn different aspects in each game mode, but ranked kind of punishes you for Learning. Great tips, nonetheless .
Ranked is definitely not a place to learn, in my opinion, but rather a place to demonstrate what you’ve learned, and put your newfound knowledge to use

Great Info .. i'm stuck at Plat and can't get out .. 1- i face alot of smurfs like lvl 36 pathfinder with 4k badge and 20 kills badge playing with other low lvl teammates who have crazy banners 2- most of the matches teammates never talk through the mic or they don't speak english ( my native lang is arabic but at least i can speak english) 3- most randoms not only playing bad but they don't even care about the team and they play more like solo play .. if i die they willn't even try to grap the banner or they will just pick a spot and camp and move from round to round avoiding any fights and running from any engagement even if i see it's winnable lastly getting outplayed by other players while i die mostly in 3 vs 1 or 2 vs 1 situations . not to mention the toxic words i get from random teammates daily even if i won a fight just because they died. so reaching Diamond or masters while solo q with randoms is just frustrating ..not to mention that i'm working .. so grinding in ranked will take alot of time and more effort = less sleep for me i have more than 1900+ hours of play in apex because it's nearly the only game i play for the last 2 and half years .. Pick your map positions people watch that map like it's another player, I always try hugging the tightest part of the circle between storm and ring. If there's two teams I always make sure the position we choose to attack from there's no chance of someone coming from behind that way third party's are always safe and guaranteed to be successful with the right team

Horizon was my new main after wraith and wattson. But now I don't really use her anymore. It don't matter what range, close, mid, far, too far, they can dodge ultimates and grenades like it's nothing. Leaving you wide open. Sure it'll make them reposition but thts all they need. Is 2-3 steps to the side and they're back in the game. Her tactical definitely leaves u open the higher u climb the ranks. It boosts u forward but it don't matter how much dodging u do in the air, skilled players will laser u almost every time.
I heard my ranked teammates who were almost masters to play ranked like pubs for the most part, find isolated fights and make sure to hit shots especially close range and hipfire
I feel like I hit a wall in diamond without having a pre made. Most of the time I get in with a duo queue in party chat with no comms at all or I get 2 Plat 4 teammates that don't make smart choices. Really wish the entry cost was lower for solo queuing or something 😕
I feel this, been solo queuing since season 0 to plat and not really putting in the time because of being a solo. I wonder how high I could climb with a team. No, the average player will not be able to get to Masters. Tell it like it is - you must be above average in some capacity of your gameplay to even get through Platinum. No need to sugarcoat it.
Not sure if he will answer but from most people I've talked to almost everything is too low at the default setting. I recommend tweaking thing upward steadily and see how it feels
I agree with Seer being broken. Even playing as a Bloodhound is so mindnumbingly boring. You basically turn off all your comms, sound and still win by just keep pressing the reveal button in the correct direction. 😂 Wallhack abilities should be banned from all games imho. It makes zero sense that one guy should know the exact position of another while the other has no or little info.
I play in Japan and when the guys are loud and saying nonsense im on a free fall of RP. That point when you engage together and look back and they are running away of a 1v1 cracked shields lifeline
Here's a cheatcode.. Valk, Seer, Lifeline.. Land at a replicator, craft level 3 knockdown shields, drop a care package, now you have gold knockdown... Play lifeline as support always being behind the fraggers, if they go down usually the other team is down a guy, click revive and stand in front of the down guy while shooting, he gets up with 50% health and you'll never lose a fight this way. 100% way of reaching masters is play with a 3 stack. 90% of players are not in a 3 stack and have 0 communication because randoms don't use mics. Randoms use characters like Mirage, Rampart, etc legends that don't add value.. It will take you about 8 hours as a 3 stack to move up from diamond 4 to diamond 2..Solo it will take forever because you have random teammates who launch solo, push fights solo, want to fight every team they see.. Being in a 3 stack you can play the ring and win easily.
I swear to god, people going all in every game, shooting at every fricking leave that fall's down, are the biggest problem I face when soloq ranked. People just don't think about what they are doing.
I hate how every one thinks Seers all of a sudden OP when nothing about him has changed after his nerf when he released. Everyone clowned him after his nerf and his pick rate was so low. He’s easy to counter if you truly understand his kit.

I've faced way more God-tier Valks than God-tier Seers, and imo anyway, Valk was better than Seer as Seer's tactical takes some nuance to use effectively, and his ult isn't as great as people say it is. His perma wallhax are oppressive, but it has a very limited range. Seer sounds mega-busted on paper, but in actuality he's not that broken. That's just in my experience anyway. I also play Seer a fair amount too.

Valk was super powerful as a solo character like horizon was when she was OP when she got released. But the team value of seer and the info gained is far superior in ranked. No, the average player will not be able to get to Masters. Tell it like it is - you must be above average in some capacity of your gameplay to even get through Platinum.

Not sure if he will answer but from most people I've talked to almost everything is too low at the default setting. I recommend tweaking thing upward steadily and see how it feels

I agree with Seer being broken. Even playing as a Bloodhound is so mindnumbingly boring. You basically turn off all your comms, sound and still win by just keep pressing the reveal button in the correct direction. 😂
Wallhack abilities should be banned from all games imho. It makes zero sense that one guy should know the exact position of another while the other has no or little info.

I play in Japan and when the guys are loud and saying nonsense im on a free fall of RP. That point when you engage together and look back and they are running away of a 1v1 cracked shields lifeline
i dont think every tips work for me cause in some games i cant predict my teammates what gone do we are randome i don't know them 🙄
Here's a cheatcode.. Valk, Seer, Lifeline.. Land at a replicator, craft level 3 knockdown shields, drop a care package, now you have gold knockdown... Play lifeline as support always being behind the fraggers, if they go down usually the other team is down a guy, click revive and stand in front of the down guy while shooting, he gets up with 50% health and you'll never lose a fight this way.
100% way of reaching masters is play with a 3 stack. 90% of players are not in a 3 stack and have 0 communication because randoms don't use mics. Randoms use characters like Mirage, Rampart, etc legends that don't add value.. It will take you about 8 hours as a 3 stack to move up from diamond 4 to diamond 2..Solo it will take forever because you have random teammates who launch solo, push fights solo, want to fight every team they see.. Being in a 3 stack you can play the ring and win easily.

I hate how every one thinks Seers all of a sudden OP when nothing about him has changed after his nerf when he released. Everyone clowned him after his nerf and his pick rate was so low. He’s easy to counter if you truly understand his kit.

Why is Seer suddenly broken, he’s been out since season 10, and then got nerfed. No complaints in season 10,11 or 12 and suddenly he’s broken??? As you probably guessed, I’m a seer main 😂 because pros now use him suddenly he’s broken…I’m not buying it

Seer isn't as overpowered or unfair as Prime Valk was. He just became the best Legend because the previous best characters got nerfed.
She was OP but not as encroaching as Seer is.

I've faced way more God-tier Valks than God-tier Seers, and imo anyway, Valk was better than Seer as Seer's tactical takes some nuance to use effectively, and his ult isn't as great as people say it is. His perma wallhax are oppressive, but it has a very limited range. Seer sounds mega-busted on paper, but in actuality he's not that broken. That's just in my experience anyway. I also play Seer a fair amount too.
@@tristanmatheny2361 I firmly disagree with this, I'm a current 19000RP master and seers in team fights are just insanely busted. Valk was super powerful as a solo character like horizon was when she was OP when she got released. But the team value of seer and the info gained is far superior in ranked. Good players with an insane amount of info from only one character is super oppressive.
