However, when they sent in half a million men with equal amouts of casualties and sometimes operating with night vision they managed to regain 10 % of the Ukrainian 2022 offensive. Maybe Ukraine has got too many mines and Cheap drones amd advanced weaponry is just not enough. They produce 1 million drones per year. Problem for Russia is that Ukraine has now dug down better and each mile costs more.

If the conflict goes on Ukraine may actually start taking more KIA than Russia, Russia can bring in more & more troops while Ukraine is struggling already. Keep in mind they outnumbered the Russians 2 to 1 by June 2021, 3-1 by end of the year. Now the Russians in most areas they're taking ground they outnumber the Ukrainians.
