    There are many challenges nowadays that the Philippine Agriculture System are facing. The most important is to have a sustainable agricultural system. We need to have an integrated farm wherein there is a combination of plants and livestock or even combined with fishing.

    would be nice also kung kasama ung duration ilang periods of harvest in a year or frequency. Kasi kahit 100% ang ROI pero kung once a year lang mas ok na ung 20% lang pero kung monthly naman ang frequency.

      Yon yong na notice ko rin. Tapos yong ibang mga products katulad ng Durian, Mango, Pele nut etc. ay matagal bago mamonga ang puno mula sa pagtanim. Katulad ng Durian at Mango, takes about 3-5 years from an air layered plant to produce a marketable fruit at another 3-5 years na dagdag na taon to really produce a good amount of marketable fruit. Ang pele nut naman I think mga 6-10 years bago pa mag produce ng madaming marketable na produce. Yong garlic naman takes a year, pero mga tomatoes, carrots, watermelon at ampalaya mga 120-180 days ma harvest na. Pero magandang base line ang list kung naka established na mga fruit trees...

    I find this to be very funny $$$$$ maybe the middle man is making money but not the farmer hehe every time a harvest comes around the prices drop to nothing,
    poor farmers can't even pay the fertilizer bill!!!!

    • @olrambofs109
      @olrambofs109 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re right, middlemen makes the most? Ex. Eggplant farmgate price PhP16, Town price PhP60-80, That’s 5X more than what the poor farmer gets paid? The new govt. has a new program called Kadiwa encouraging local farmers to sell their products at local markets cutting down middlemen who didn’t do any Hard Labor! ( No offense Middlemen )

    The biggest problem in Philippine farming, bantay salakay. The sayings goes, ikaw ang nagsaing, iba ang kumain. Pests everywhere.
