What a great video, thankyou. I'm also a big fan of learning the bird sounds,it's an amazing journey of discovery. I caught a brief glimpse of the cuckoo this year,so that was great to learn about the cuckoo flower. The flower also has a yellow eye like the cuckoo. And rhodedendrons remind me of those old movies like Day of the Triffids lol. Keep up the great work, look forward to more videos. Best wishes from Devon 🙂🌲
The hawthorn or 'fairy bush' is in Latoon - County Clare, Ireland where they were upgrading the m18. I hitched round the West coast in the early 2000's and saw it. Fun story! Really enjoyed your vid, atb Andy
Beautiful video Danni Yea that was a chiff chaff the easiest of the 7 warblers to identify I’ve been hearing a cuckoo for the last week or so such a rare bird now I think with you being further north things are a bit behind I’ve been having regular tea made from plantain you can feel the goodness with every sip Top notch as always 👍🏼🍄🪴🌸🦆🍻
Oh that’s awesome. We seem to hear cuckoos quite a lot here in the Peak District! I’ll try and catch one on camera next time ❤ yes always later here in Sheffield though this was filmed on 9th May - I went to visit family in Kent and am a little behind with my editing! 😄

Rowan - Found out that was European Mountain Ash.
American Mountain Ash grows like a weed where I live.
Ours is suffering from ash dieback here! 😔
Beautiful video Danni

Thankyou for the walk and plant information ....I never knew any of that
Oh I’m glad you enjoyed it! See you on the next walk 😁❤
Thoroughly enjoy your content, find it both insightful and relaxing. Is your book available on amazon or something else?
Thank you mark! My book currently available on Amazon and Waterstones, the preorder links for both in the description of my most recent videos ☺️📖
Do you have a dehydrator? Definitely handy for alot of plant preserving 🌱💚
I do! I am looking for a new one as mine is a £30 cheapo from Amazon 9 years ago and makes a racket these days 😂
I have also been using the merlin ap, I have found it great
It’s awesome! I’m obsessed 😄
Fantastic video.. Some nice wild edibles you have found up there. I am down in Cornwall.
Awesome! Which part of Cornwall? I am coming down that way over the summer ❤
@@danniinthewild I am on the rame peninsula just over the boarder from Devon
Thanks Danni, where did you learn all this knowledge of nature?
I’m an illustrator, I spent my childhood studying the drawings in botanical books and I guess the info rubbed off 😄
Hi Danni the ribwort tea, do you just use leaves or heads thanks.
You can use both but I tend to just use the leaves
Thank you😊
Hey! You're on tv!
Haha which show are you watching? The Alan titchmarsh series?
