I think you didn't say Kate McKennan as Fauchi...I really loved Kate and I would wet myself laughing at her on Weekend Update totally destroying Colin Jost (Mr Johansson ) She was the one of the best EVER in my watching of SNL...I watched it in the old school days...Dan Akyroid, Bill Murray, Chevy chase, Dana Carey , Chris Farley, Phil Hartman (RIP), Eddie Murphy
Ya can’t really satire Boebert. What more could ya do to make her look more ridiculous than she already is. In fact, it’s getting harder and harder to satire Republicans these days without just acting exactly like them. Just look at Katie Britt’s SOTU rebuttal a few weeks ago
Phil Hartman and Darrel Hammond always excelled in what they did. Kate McKinnon was suburb as Jeff sessions, Rudy Giuliani, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and others. Melissa McCarthy as unhinged Sean Spicer was hilarious. Tiny Fey as Sarah Palin was a shining star every time she showed up. Alec Baldwin was my favorite Trump. Loved this list.
My late wife one time walked past the TV and saw Tiny Fey imitating Sarah Palin and said, "I hate that woman" I busted up laughing and told her "That's not Sarah Palin that's Tina Fey a comedian doing an impression of her."
The only thing funnier than Norm MacDonald doing his impersonation of Bob Dole, was him doing it in front of him. That impression was so over the top & Bob Dole going along with it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on the show.
The late Chris Farley even walked in on a Congressional meeting with the sole intent of doing his impression of Newt Gingrich when Mr. Gingrich was Speaker of the House.
Just reminds me of how great SNL still is. This is my 90th year of living and thank you Lorne and all your past and present cast-members for keeping me and everyone relevant 😊 4:314:31 😊
I am in complete agreement with you! Thank you for your insightful comment. And please feel free to read my personal comments on this very matter that directly follows yours; and with a (further) statement that "serves" as my "own Reply" to my original comments, for the purpose of further clarification.
Every time Gerald Ford’s name comes up, I automatically think of Chevy Chase falling into the 🎄… and start belly-laughing, even around a group of unaware persons! 😂😂😂
I have to agree way too much commentary and not finishing a line. No this isn't my first time watching MoJo and I have left watching stuff like this before for the same reason.
Kate McKinnon's best impression is BY FAR AND AWAY Lindsey Graham. And even then, it's so good it's top 5 on this list. And where the hell is Robin Williams playing Reagan???? He only did it once, but he absolutely nailed it. Beyond that, Dana Carvey gets the top 4 spots with Ross Periot, George W, Joe Biden, and George H.W. in that order.
No one did a better Bill Clinton then the late absolutely great Phil Hartman (May he rest in peace). Both Baldwin and James Austin Johnson nailed Trump (Baldwin for appearance, but Austin Johnson for vocal impression). I think if I weren't watching James Austin Johnson do the impression and only heard it, I might even think it was actually Trump. I don't even know who the Hell Sean Spicer is, but I do love Mellissa's impression as it's just insanely hilarious. For what it's worth, those were Paul's picks
Spicer was Tr*mp's first press secretary, before the nepo-heifer took over. It's funny how so many Tr*mpists are better portrayed by female comedians: Spicer, Graham, and Cruz come to mind.
Phil's Bill Clinton was the best hands down; even to this day no one is actually imitating Bill Clinton they're just doing some version of Phil Hartman's impersonation
Thing I find fascinating is too see 2 SNL players like Phil Hartman and Darryl Hammond, or Will Ferrell and Dana Carvey play the same president: physically different obviously; but with the wigs, the makeup and specially their performances we can see Clinton & Bush.
Oh, gee thanks I did not no that. And I didn't even realize how funny these were until you told me - ha, ha - ha, ha - ha, ha - ha, ha. So hilarious, you're so right. Ha, ha.
Hammond did a good Chris Matthews too. “When you had your brain washed did you get it waxed, too?” Oh, and Fred Armisen as Ghadafi and Margaret Cho as the Kims. That was SNL, right?
Chris Matthews! Not only was the impression golden, the content made it like a mountain of gold bullions. (I think that sounds stupid… but the content was magnificent!) PERFECT!😂

I guess you had to be there, but Phil Hartman's Admiral Stockdale will never not make me laugh.

You’re absolutely right it’s probably because those who can recognize these actors as the actors they’re portraying it probably means we’re old
Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer was hysterical.
It's funny how so many Tr*mpublican males are better parodied by women. Spicer, Graham and Cruz, for example.
Should be number 1
I forgot Sessions and Giuliani, LOL
Her dressed up like that as the thumbnail made me click 😂
She's a national treasure 🥰
Jay Pharoah as Barack Obama and Cecily Strong as Janine Pirro were underrated!!!
I know Jeanine Pirro is not a political figure, but I wanted to see it on this list anyway. Like Cathy Anne talking about Donald Trunk.
Love to see Tina Fey do impressions of Bobert.
Boebert doesn’t deserve that honor
Ya can’t really satire Boebert. What more could ya do to make her look more ridiculous than she already is. In fact, it’s getting harder and harder to satire Republicans these days without just acting exactly like them. Just look at Katie Britt’s SOTU rebuttal a few weeks ago
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
I've heard that by saying her name 3 times, she will appear
@@knightssquire2376like Beetlejuice
You should also include Scarlett Jo for Senator Katie Britt.
Scarlett also did a great Ivanka shilling for a perfume called "Complicit."
That was over the top, “perfect“! 😂
She should've been on the list.
Right!
Melissa McCarthy and Sean spicer, Alec Baldwin is Donald trump, Jim Carrey as biden, and Tina Fey as Sarah Palin are the best
Absolutely. Baldwin's Tr*mp wasn't an exact impression, but it sure captured the buffoonish evil.
Tina Fey as Sarah Palin was more Palin than Palin.
'I can see my house from here"
"I can see Russia from my house"
Sorry, I blew it on the 1st quote
You should have included when Palin (Fey) met Palin (Palin)
They are all good, but Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh was the best any of us have seen in a long long time. He nailed it.
My late wife one time walked past the TV and saw Tiny Fey imitating Sarah Palin and said, "I hate that woman" I busted up laughing and told her "That's not Sarah Palin that's Tina Fey a comedian doing an impression of her."
Ha ha. BBQ guest list - Sarah Palin, or Tiny Fey.
@@blueshorecreative3146 oh don’t make me choose. With Tina, you get both women.😂 she was spot on with that impersonation
Tina was great as Palin!
Kate McKinnon as Elizabeth Warren
😂 These SNL political impressions are comedy gold! 🙌
Phil Hartman was the GOAT of impressions
@johnnycaruthers7180He's dead.
@johnnycaruthers7180 Why let everyone in the comment section know you're ignorant?
Poor Phil. The man was a genius! What he would have done with the rest of his career would have been outstanding. Sad.
For political impressions, it's Dana Carvey all day.
And I say this knowing Phil Hartman is the G.O.A.T.
The whole Kavanaugh trial sketch was genius.
WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
@@MrPuzzles You could look the words up in a dictionary if you aren't sure of the meaning.
I have watched that so many times. It is ALWAYS entertaining.
Snubs: Scarlett Johansson as Katie Britt, Kate McKinnon as Rudy Giuliani and Kellyane Conway
I just watched that It sketch when she plays Kellyanne, so hilarious. 😂
Bill hader as Jim Jordan and Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer, pure gold lol
The only thing funnier than Norm MacDonald doing his impersonation of Bob Dole, was him doing it in front of him. That impression was so over the top & Bob Dole going along with it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on the show.
And let's not forget Tina Fey doing the Alaskan Governor, when the actual lady came onstage!
Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump & Tina Fey as Sarah Palin are Comedy Gold.
They perfectly portrayed the meanness and pig ignorance of those two.
Alec Baldwin's impersonation sucks.
Ditto!
Jim Carrey as Joe Biden and Alec Baldwin as Trump was pure gold
No it was pure propaganda.
Plus, the fact that Trump absolutely hates it is just the icing on the cake!😂
You bout to lose yo job!!! 😂😂😂
@@MintyFreshTurds show me on this doll where SNL hurt you
@@MintyFreshTurds Pure gold. What a shame Tr*mpists have no sense of humor.
Melissa as Sean Spicer was one of my top 5 of all time.😂
Less narration and more of their actual performances. The narration is annoying. We don’t need to be told the performance will leave us laughing.
Exactly
@@gogomimazoom8114AGREE WITH YOU SWEETIE ❤
Agreed. The narration ruins it all…
We can’t see how funny they are as u speak over their performances!
Watchmojo is always like this. You were expecting different?
The late Chris Farley even walked in on a Congressional meeting with the sole intent of doing his impression of Newt Gingrich when Mr. Gingrich was Speaker of the House.
Darrell Hammond, Will Farrell, and Phil Hartman will always be the Masters at political impersonations. Rest in peace, Phil. 😔
Less voice-over - more talent.
Thank You
Came here to say this. Less TALKING! More impressions.
Will Ferrells impersonation of Janet Reno is definitely not forgotten!
The entire story of Janet Reno's Dance Party was fabulous 😂
My forever fave is Dana Carvey as Ross Perot. “can I finish, can I finish, can I finish?!?”.
Dana Carvey's portrayal of Ross Perot is definitely a classic! What other Dana Carvey characters do you enjoy?
@@WatchMojoJimmy Stewart, Johnny Carson, Regis, Katherine Hepburn, George Michael, Church Lady, Garth, Paul McCartney. Carvey is the greatest.
Whatcha think lm talkin here Porkucheez?
Just reminds me of how great SNL still is. This is my 90th year of living and thank you Lorne and all your past and present cast-members for keeping me and everyone relevant 😊 4:31 4:31 😊
I would much rather hear the skits rather than the rambling on and on and on of the commentator
I've said the same thing on each one of these. I don't understand why they don't change the way they do it.
I am in complete agreement with you! Thank you for your insightful comment. And please feel free to read my personal comments on this very matter that directly follows yours; and with a (further) statement that "serves" as my "own Reply" to my original comments, for the purpose of further clarification.
It ruins everything
@@GrannyMundee-kk3qu Maybe to lengthen the video?
I see what you did there! ;-)
Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen was on point!!
I love how balanced these impersonations are when it comes to both sides of the aisle. SNL leaves no one unroasted.
The narration kills it. I’m sure you’ve heard that 1 million times.
I could not even finish watching it. Why did she think we could not "get it" without her incessant jabbering.
One of my favorites is Kate McKinnon doing Rudy Giuliani
Dana Carrey as Ross Perot & Bush Sr, Phil Hartman as Reagan & Clinton, Melissa as Spicer, Matt as Kavanaugh….my faves!
James Austin Johnson as trump was spot on, especially the ramblings. 😅
He spoke too fast and was too skinny.
Will Farrell as bush is the best one
Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford still holds up!
Every time Gerald Ford’s name comes up, I automatically think of Chevy Chase falling into the 🎄… and start belly-laughing, even around a group of unaware persons! 😂😂😂
Bill Hader: Rick Perry, Elliot Spitzer, Anthony Scaramucci, James Carville
The Mooch! LOL
I forgot about Matt Damon doing Kavanaugh. 🤣🤣
You should've shown the Sean Spicer's dolls. That got me rolling on that one 😂😂😂😂
Frustratingly too much loud voiceover
Yes, please cut that back!
That's what I was just thinking. Show us some damn clips. Let them do a little speaking for themselves. Hahaha it's why I clicked on it.
You must be new here
@@randallclemons8638 That is why I unsuscribed.
We don't need humor explained to us. We just need to hear the comedians themselves without insipid commentary. Please!
Tina Fey takes the #1 spot, spot on
Larry David as Bernie. Perfect!
It would be nice to hear more of the impressions rather than your non-stop commentary.
I Agree!!
You’re looking up the wrong videos whiskey
I liked the clip, but the narrator's volume had a real contrast to the playback volume.
As much as I love this compilation, the clips speak for themselfs and there was too much comments. Didin't make it to the end.
is this your first time watching mojo?
I have to agree way too much commentary and not finishing a line. No this isn't my first time watching MoJo and I have left watching stuff like this before for the same reason.
Too much over-comment by the narrator and not enough of the comedians themselves.
Never saw Matt Damon’s impression of Brett Kavanuagh, it was spot on. Lol
Does Dana Carvey as John McLaughin count? Because that was FRIGGIN hysterical!
Bill Hader as James Carville and Cecily Strong as Jeanine Pirro.
I like this stuff but commentator talks to damn much
Sorry you don’t like women talking…
THANK YOU FOR THIS COMMENT!
How is James Austin in number 22? He's easily the best Trump!
Yes that was criminally low!
I agree, He's got his voice down pat
Alec Baldwin wasn’t bad as Trump, I just think James Austin Johnson is better. He’s got the cadence during the stream of consciousness down.
It would be better to see more of the impressions if the narrator didn't use most of the time blabbing.
All watchmojo videos are like that.

Also, Sessions and Giuliani. Weird huh?
Phil also played DJT.
Scarlett Johansson's Katie Britt should've been included.
I love the Jeff Sessions imitation! Such a cutie! lol
I love Matt Damons Brett Cavanaugh ❤
The cadence, staggered as it is, perfectly Al Gore.
Will Ferrell as George. W. Bush is spot-on and hilarious. 😂🎉
You forgot Beck Bennett as Mike Pence!!
Darrell Hammond at 23 is an insult. He played that role for 12 years.
I gotta agree... it was always a personal favorite
Phil's Bill Clinton was the best hands down; even to this day no one is actually imitating Bill Clinton they're just doing some version of Phil Hartman's impersonation
Darrell Hammond did a good Clinton as well. "Ah'm bulletproof!" But Phil Hartman was the most talented impressionist in the cast. for sure.
Janet Reno was always hilarious. Will Ferrell is awesome.
As usual, hilarious!!!! LOVE YOU SNL!!! 💙💙💙💙🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thing I find fascinating is too see 2 SNL players like Phil Hartman and Darryl Hammond, or Will Ferrell and Dana Carvey play the same president: physically different obviously; but with the wigs, the makeup and specially their performances we can see Clinton & Bush.
Tina Fey was a better Sara Palin, than Sara herself
James Austin Johnson is hilarious as Trump!
You forgot Will Forte's "I'm George W. Bush and I approve this muffin!"
I hope they show john Goodman as linda tripp
Chevy Chase as Former President Gerald Ford 😅😅😅
OMG . I laughed and 😂 and 😂 and 😂. Laughter very good.
Hammond as Gore is easily #1 IMO
Hammond also did a great Jesse Jackson.
Kate McKinnon could easily snag 5 of the top 15. RBG. Clinton. Warren. Sessions. Conway. Maybe even Merkel.
Alec Baldwin was the best Trump. How he would shrink his lips into a tiny butt-hole was godly
I agree. Baldwin was hilarious!!!
In 2008, the portrayal of John McCain was a hoot.
Mikey Day and Alex Moffat as Don Jr & Eric as a duo were hilarious
Kate McKinnon & Cecile Strong doing absolutely anything
Oh, gee thanks I did not no that. And I didn't even realize how funny these were until you told me - ha, ha - ha, ha - ha, ha - ha, ha.
So hilarious, you're so right. Ha, ha.
This is awesome, but TH-cam sucks for putting a commercial and interrupting it every three or four minutes. It is irritating and unnecessary.
I MISS KATE😭
Alec Baldwin did the best trump ever 👏
Yes he did.
Larry David did a fantastic job and when the ancestry show showed they were cousins they were both pleasantly surprised ❤ RIP Phill Hartman❤
Idk who it was, but the SNL impression of Toronto Ontario Mayor Rob Ford was hilarious & accurate!
It was Bobby Moynihan...although Chris Farley would have been perfect for the role if he'd been available
A Kamala ad interrupted just before Maya's rendition on her 😂
Alec Baldwin, best Trump ever
Agree.. hard act for the new guy to follow.
Thanks for interesting and valuable video as always ❤❤❤
I miss Beck Bennett. Plus love the shirtless Putin.
Someone must have done John McCain.
And I know Cecily Strong did other noteworthy impressions, like Jeanine Pirro.
McKinnon as Laura Ingraham.
John McCain himself played John McCain, and he was hysterical 😂😂😂
I just wish to be able to just and simply enjoy the clip, to immerse myself in it and leave the vocal analysis for later.
More platter, less chatter. I turned mine off after the Dukakis bit
Absolutely did the SAME. She ruined it.
Finding the humor in Hillary Clinton was a monumental feat of comedy on Amy Poehler's part. Bravo!
Just show the skits less telling what they’re saying 🤯
John Lovett is under appreciated
I agree
Fabulous 🎉
The deaf translator for Barack Obama. I think that was Cecily Strong.
The nineties when SNL was actually funny RIP Chris Farley
Loved Alec Baldwin as Trump!
Kate McKinnon is my favorite Chameleon
