That’s awesome! I was on the Plant level Easy difficulty. If you watch his video for Plant/Easy I’m at 9:50 (Daniel A Longworth). Did you enter the contest on Konami’s website back then too? I’m now 41. This was the beat thing that ever happened to me in my teenage years lol

So concerning the guard that you spoke of. He's an enemy that seems to only spawn on a second playthrough and above. For anyone wondering this also goes for the USP suppressor, it will not spawn until your second run through and onward. Leveling grip is not required you can make it with full health. Guards that don't seem to phased by your stick up must be shot in the arm or leg once for them to give up there tags.

It's ridiculous the lengths you have to go to for some stupid dog tags. It's one thing to hold up random Marines on the outskirts of the group but having to tranq 50+ Marines and get caught? That's so stupid. It's not hard to do, just stupid.
@@LeonDedi YES! you have to keep beating the game and loading the same save for the tags to count. So essentially you should only have one save slot you use.

Im just goin through and doing this now after I bought a replacement PS2 and 2 brand new DualShock 2 controllers, Idk if its the age, but I cannot for the life of me make use of the pressure sensitive buttons to not fire off a round wasting ammo.
Yeah the pressure sensitivity was always hard to control, on the HD remaster clicking in the thumbstick will lower your weapon, Im not sure if it works in the original.
It's annoying and I take extra long releasing square to make sure the gun doesn't go off but another trick is to tap R2 to unequip the gun. You have to be out of first-person view to do it.
Bro, what are you saying at 9:44? All I'm getting is "At this point, make sure you [mumble mumble mumble] otherwise the guard won't spawn in the next area." I've rewound like 50 times and I have no idea what you're saying.
Lol I thought he said "make sure you're not on the last stairs" and why he jumps down. But the guard still won't spawn for me, I haven't killed anyone either
So those two guards in yhe holds in the center of all the marines..is that new to HD? I swear i did 100% tags way back in thebday and didnt have to tranq 50 guards
Same. I’m watching this video while going through the new Master Collection, but I’m wondering what the hell that’s all about lol. I don’t remember having to do that whatsoever.
Recommend doing this with the Bandana. There is also at least 1 box of M9 ammo on the lower left corner of Hold No. 1, across from where you enter it from if you need it.
hey guys, i did figure something out. according to TrueAchievements you dont need the tanker dogtags if your purely going for the Great Dane achievement or trophy plat. not sure however if you still need the tanker tags for that one specific camo or outfit or whatever that requires a certain amount of tags. hope that helps!
