A wonderful and joyous poece. The first few bars sounded a bit imposing 🎹 🎹 🎹 🎹 😊

Always fun to hear four pianists bashing away... but it does go on a bit!

There's something almost Monty Python about the whole enterprise, the unvarying static video in master shot (despite wild activity on stage), the four males pounding away at the keys while the four female page-turners dutifully dispatch their roles. I'm waiting for a giant foot to come crashing down on the four pianos -- it never comes.

I found in this piece two themes that I already knew: Gualtiero's aria, from Il Pirata (act II) by Bellini and La campanella by Paganini.

I find Czerny's music very entertaining. I've read that he divided his music into 3 categories - teaching, more serious, and less serious or light. This is definitely in the 3rd. That passage with the ascending chromatic chords is too much!

It seems to me that only one of the pianists -the second on the left side- is really playing a difficult part. The other three are only accompanying him with some chords, and the first one on the right plays a few rapid scales on certain occasions. It sounds very impressive, altogether.

Sorry!!

I suppose Czerny had fun composing all these "pastiche " concertos for 4, 6, 10 hands.....etc. I think Mozart would have had fun with it too. Problem is when Czerny was brought to this world Mozart was dying.

a shame the acoustic is muffled, or it's really a tour de force performance.

This quasi-pastiche is too long to be a romp, or a hoot, or entertaining. Get yourself a crossword puzzle to do if you must tune in. The funniest part of the experience is the StoneChords' invoking Monty Python. Don't walk this way.

This music is terribly inferior. I wish more people would wake up to that.

can you define inferior? Could you compose music better than this?
