Sweet! Very innovative. We finally see how this thing works. Thanks for the sliced animation, and thank you very much for showing a demonstration of it actually being fired. This dispels the assumptions people were making online before the video was released, claiming ‘it’s just a high ROF gun.’ But clearly, it’s not as reductive as they made it out to be. It really does look and act like a shotgun with its clustering and spread of BBs-better than any other I’ve ever seen on the market!
But it is just a high ROF gun. Fact they have to load bbs into the engine because magazine wouldn´t keep up with rate of fire is irrelevant. It is just bb spam machine for people who don´t play to have fun, they play to win. What will stop people in cqb from spamming hallways and prefire everything?

Major downside to this weapon will likely be lesser range and greater consumption of bbs resulting in the desire to use a lighter weight. A traditional MTW or other HPA with 0.40’s will still be viable to counter a weapon like this

Wow. Great, will you introduce a smaller capacity version or extra bit as a lot of fields over here in the uk only allow 3 shots indoors and 6 outdoors.
So far no, but this is version one of the engine. Maybe it’ll come in the future.

Actually I thought I did, but it turns out I misread. Evike says it’s 2-6 (adjustable), 8 per shot. The 2-6 is the RPS. My apologies.
@@seniorspaz8754 I wish they made it the amount of BBs. Maybe it will we still don’t know yet but it’s going to be banned everywhere but milsim style events. All the indoor places near me are all 3 shots only.
@@zx3focus43 Hell, even AMS banned these with their new shotgun ruleset. And I doubt it would fit in a MSW loadout, but I'm not very familiar with their ruleset.

Aren't you worried about this being outright banned for being 8 BB's at once in semi auto?
I can already see CQB only fields pre-banning this purely because of overkill.
I've been told to run gas shotguns on 3-shot only because 6-shot was too much in CQB.

Can you chrono this thing like a normal gun? Most trishots don't play well with chronos and I'm wondering if the "RPS" is too high for a chrono to read

@@TyltedGaming The fact this wasn´t done before doesn´t mean it won´t be classified as burst. 8 bb per trigger pull going thru one chamber, rubber and barrel sounds a lot bursty to me. Forget for a second how it is made to look, just recapitulate for yourself just the technical specs and how it functions, based on thatwill you arrive to conclusion that you are describing shotgun?

What is the minimum joules this thing can shoot while functioning correctly? We're evaluating if our field is going to even allow these for CQB, as it's basically full auto. But if we can get it down to like 0.5J, it may be viable.

Isn't this running on the same concept that G&G's using with their bullpup shotgun already?
Are you using rotary magazines or something else in the shotgun? or some other magazines? Because at the moment I haven't found anything other than rotary magazines in Europe and that discourages me a bit from buying. Alternatively, if you use rotary magazines, how many shots can the magazine handle without spinning?

I feel like this will just get banned everywhere. It seems like a fancy way to just have a high ROF when a lot of fields try to reduce this. A mechanical version would be more limiting especially if combined with a "pump" to prime feature.
Regarding the ROF I think the difference is rather than it firing 8 times in a single trigger pull it’s actually just sending 8 rounds out with one cycle on the engine hence why you are not seeing 8bbs come out like a laser
@@rokinz3270 fields won't really see it that way. They'll just see too many BBs in the air too quickly.

Simple litmus test, did your field ban the flak 5/10 or G&G ESG B-10? If yes, this is banned. If not, then you are safe. Also, the price point being where it is, it won’t be seen that often in open play. You will probably see this more at milsims

What sort of range are we expecting with this?
I have a gg esg 10 I fit with a fixed hop-up, it does 30m on .28 at 170 psi, so I guess this can do something similar

Uk sites are strict when it comes to shot guns. cqb don’t like any more than 3 shots and out door no more than 6
I don’t think you can regulate the amount the BBs unfortunately. They should have just done 3 or 6 BBs not 8.

2 things, how do you chrono this properly and why didn’t y’all make the mag capacity larger than 170 rounds of you have all of that space in the mag to work with. PTS can fit 250 rounds in an M4 mag footprint. That mag you guys have for that gun is double the size of a m4 mag. And with it being 8 shot, it is gonna run out of ammo quick

Incredibly cool, but the 8 BB load is 100% gonna mean most sites don't allow it. It's hard to find places that allow the 6 shot modes in the gas shotguns so I can't see many places allowing this:(

I really think the mag capacity of 140rds helps balance it as well. Someone trying to spam is going to be reloading more often and these mags are yuge

We have already developed a protocol for chrono testing. Just hold tight lots more information will be shared as we approach release.

We have 3, 6 and 10 round shotguns out there. Now a 8 round one. I think Wolverine bringing it out might make it something people will want. For CQB Indoors, I don't think it will be acceptable ( My Opinion as a former Indoor Ref ). Players Bitch about 6 rounds coming at them, so 8 or 10 round shotguns might be in the same boat. Even though IMO, it would be more realistic type Spread of BBs from a shotgun...only time will tell.
Biggest thing will be how to chrono it and get the joules so people do not get bent out of shape over getting hit with it.

Also, gun clearly isn't a burst gun. Chambers 8 and fires once, not chambers 1 bb and fires once really fast 8 times. IMO, this isnt as overpowered as people think. The tm aa12 and saiga gbbr have been out for awhile now and i rarely see anyone use that on the field nor do i see them doing massive tram sweeps ahen they are on the field. I have both saiga and aa12 and i feel i dont really overpower anyone albeit it is easier to hit people. Lastly, the price of entry for semi shottys are high therefore not many people get them. This is a niche product, one that caters to the shotgun enthusiast like myself.
Currently just the G12 as far as we know
a GE m870 can hit 45m and Tm saiga 12 k can hit 60m+ this doesn't seem to be on par with there performance. will it be tri shot? uk fields incurrence don't cover more then 3 bbs at a time (its a law that not alot of people know about)

Very nice, but how much. G&G is £350 uses standard M4 mags and is able to use hpa, select from 5 or 10 BB's no full auto that's just stupid for Airsoft. It will be banned on full auto from most sites in the UK.

Mag fed and multishot shotguns like this on Airsoft feels just like cheating. Like, this is not different than setting a burst mode on any high ROF AEG or HPA... the difference is the poor accuracy and lack of range lmao
What would be really cool tho, is if this was done on a pump action shotgun platform, like on a M870, because playing with this showed on the video is nothing different than playing with a M4, but playing with a pump action shotgun with a reliable power source (not gas, or springs, which is lacking on the market, and HPA shotguns comes down to HPA tapped gas shotguns only), this would be hella overwhelming on each shot.

Within the month of this video dropping, similar to the APS cam870, flak10, and many others who were banned before they ever released
While just like all fields aren’t going to allow grenades or full auto because they aren’t a good fit for that specific field, We have spent extensive time and effort getting buy in from dealers, event organizers, and fields to ensure the end product is something that enhances the game and is game effective without being OP.

So it's all the insurance problems of the Flak/B-10 with HPA RoF & velocity control. You'll just get dudes running 0.4's in these hurting people. Field insurance outfits are gonna squash it.

be wayyy cooler if it was 3 or 6 shots in a pump action build with the quality of the mtw they could make a very reliable and real size one unlike others available , as this new m4 looking version is lame also only just passable as a shotgun can see the hpa haters moaning and places just not allowing for it
also when the mag is low and it loads less bbs will that fire hot ? i had stacked shot shells for a revolver if i loaded less it fired wayyy hotter
