Barndominium Interior Floor Trusses and Stairs

Incredibly strong upstairs floor framing. Stairs and floor all done with just 2 people. Welding of floor trusses, and installing with electric lift. Using trailer as welding table/jig. Uno 33E lift to get trusses in position. How to set floor joists on steel trusses. Installing 3/4" osb tongue and groove flooring. ‪@featuredelements4631‬

I used someone else’s but increased the size of steel a little. I like the “over do it” when it doesn’t cost a fortune. But almost any structural engineering company can or will point you to who can. Thanks for checking out the channel.

I've never seen anyone build their own metal trusses. Why not use wood trusses? That sure is a really thick floor. Could you just have used steel I beams? Nice job though.

Sure we could have used beams. But it was about the looks, and hvac. It’ll make a little more sense when we post the finish living space. The spiral exposed hvac duct work vents through the trusses. Thanks for checking it out.
