- More than one year ago, I did my first big video ranking all of the NetherRealm Studios guest characters. Since I started the All Finishers Ranked series, many have asked for the guest characters to get their own episode. With 10 years of guests and 11 guest characters making their way into Mortal Kombat, let’s dig in and find out which guest character has the best finisher!

Great way of looking at it. It would be terrible to be transported to a place where you’re not safe.
So, no that different from Scorpion's fatality in MK3, where he teleports his opponent to hell.

And what is also scarier is that there’s no convincing them. Hell, they likely already know why a time sphere sent a nearly legless person their way. “Oh, he sent another one. Let’s get this one real quick before fighting the rebels.”

Freddy’s boiler fatality can actually be considered a reference to Kristen’s death in the 4th movie. She was thrown into an open furnace and burned to death by Freddy. The rest was flourishes by the team, and honestly given how many times he brought people to that dam boiler room, it’s about time he killed someone there lol.
12:14 The second Predator kill you showed is 3 kills in one.
1. Blaine (Jessie Ventura) was shot in the torso area.
2. Dillon (Carlos Weathers) had his arm blown off before being stabbed.
3. Mac (Bill Duke) was shot in the head.

I’m pretty sure Spawn’s 2nd Fatality is a reference to those guys that wrapped their wings around people and dissolved them from the movie The Beastmaster.
Also, I find both of Predator’s Fatalities to be extremely frustrating from a lore perspective. He destroys his trophy (the skull) in both of them!
Maybe if Predator does a Fatality, he sees his opponent as not worthy of being a trophy, since his win pose without doing a Fatality is taking the trophy like expected.
Spawns 2nd fatality is a reference to how he takes the sins of his victims and turns it into ectoplasm to fuel his powers and suit.
He is a bad blood maybe
interesting note is that the alien and predator have a fatality done without doing one. If you don't finish the opponent the alien will cacoon his victum and a chestburster will pop out while the predator will deskin the head and put the skull in the trophy room
Personally I put Spawn's Unchained fatality at number 1. It was just too good!
It’s truly a gross and awesome finisher!
Robocop was actually my 2nd favourite guest character. He wasn’t expected but he was a great character back in the day. He brought back so much nostalgia.

Stranger from Oddworld referenced him by saying “Dead or Alive, your ass is coming with me.”

I guess nowadays they could use Bayonetta since she fits the age rating and it would be easier since she's in Smash Bros?

19:29 the second Freddy Fatality seems more like Kristen's death in part 4 where Freddy throws her in an incinerator.
I like to imagine that whatever spirits brought Leatherface to the Mortal Kombat worlds are also helping him with the hook fatality
Making the chain and hook transcend space and time so he has something to hang his opponent from

Predators outro is a better fatality than all of his actual fatalities
I totally agree with you. I never do finisher when I play Predator, I just let him collect the trophy.

I’ve heard it only once and it was from a Gameology video. When I did the recording, I got the rare song and went “holy crap”! Never would’ve expected that to happen during the capture process.

Someone already pointed out that Predator’s second fatality is a reference to 3 character deaths, but just wanted to add to that and say that having the triangle reticle lock on to the character is bonus points especially since if you’re using the Warrior variation (or whichever one doesn’t have the mask) that isn’t present and Preddy’s vision is red like when he unmasked in the first movie. I definitely would have placed it higher, but I’m a little biased because I love the Predator films. All in all, great video and keep up the awesome work. Subscribed
Say what everyone says about the Guest Characters but I love playing them that most of them are some of my mains and the Fatalities are were they shine the most that there's no bad ones that makes me what Ash Williams in the future,looking forward to what comes next.
For me Jokers Party Pooper would have been number 1. It’s literally so funny and gory at the same time! I also would have ranked Kratos Medusa one higher as well. A really great video as always !!! Have a happy holidays !!!

The last terminator fatality would have been so much cooler if the future terminator smashed the enemies head

If you do a “Welcome to my Nightmare” Fatality on Kratos, when Freddy Krueger throws him to the boiler he just stands there waiting for Freddy to get closer, he attempts to grab him in there until Freddy slams the door on him, slashing his arm off.
Well, because Sony requested that.
Freddy's smile and wave 'bye bye' was the perfect bloody icing on the Fatality cake! :-D
Definitely is! It’s definitely a top-tier finisher sprinkled with personality.
Personally I thought Kratos first should have been last. The Predators one seems so personal, plus completely taking off half of the head is so savage. Tho I agree it would have been nice to see him use more of his equipment.

How I would fix Predator’s 2nd Fatality?
- Predator would use his bare hands to tear his opponent’s skin apart, skinning him/her completely before hanging the corpse. Sure it’s already a Brutality, but I think the skinning can also be a Fatality as well.
I think skinning would work well as a finisher as well. That or something involving the net from AvP.

Just now, I came up with another idea. Back at Aliens vs Predator Requiem, the movie no one wants to talk about anymore, the Predator of that film has a whip that tears off a Xenomorph's limbs before he stomps his foe's head. Instead of the smart disc fatality, MKX's Predator should take out his whip, wraps it around his opponent's legs before severing them to pieces, then he leaps in the air, and stomps the opponent's head, crushing the skull.

Spawn’s chain explosion fatality looks like something from Hellraiser.
Who else when they saw Freddy's second finisher said in Robert Englund's Freddy's voice "your in my world now." And when the arm got cut off said "you need a getting out of there."
I wish he did say “you’re in my world now” so badly. Would’ve been the cherry on top.

As a Predator main and fan of the series, I was 100% expecting for his to be labeled one of the worst and I was right. Personally, if I could change it, it would have been something like the Predator throwing out a couple of Smart Discs and they slice through the opponents limbs yet, the moment they're about to just be a body and head, impales them through the heart right on the Combi-Stick before propping them up like a fresh kill. Sounds a bit long but, I feel like it could work.

8:09 this kill is a reference to Freddy Vs Jason. When Jason kills the stoner guy mind controlled by Freddy Krueger and then Jason cuts him the same way.
19:19 This kill is a reference to Kristen's Death from A Nightmare on Elm Street 4. In the movie, Freddy Krueger grabs Kristen and throws her into an open furnace just like this finisher.
I feel like the freddy vs jason thing is a bit of a stretch, he doesnt cut him the same way, he cuts him in half from his lower stomach in the movie not his shoulder

Maybe alone like “ranking all dead pool stage fatalities”

My number 1 favorite guest MK Characters Fatalities is number 4 with Spawn. It's an amazing kill when he turns them into skeleton but I still respect your list it's still good.

The 2nd spawn fatality with the cape sucking the life away leaving bones and such could also be a reference to the 1980s Marc singer Beastmaster movie ... there were monsters in the movie that did that almost exact thing
It's also how he fuels his (living) suit and powers.
He feeds on the sins and "darkness" of the scum he fights.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but Jason's machete fatality is VERY similar to a kill from the movie "Hatchet". Kane Hodded played the killer in that movie, too. Either it's a coincidence or it's a cool reference!
