If I was to buy a yacht, this would be the one. She doesn’t scream ego or flash but is pure CLASS with common sense. Plenty of toys for those who need to be active, yet peaceful spaces that provide a calm environment for meditation. ❤
This is what I particularly like about American build boats, the interior design is most often more like a house, a home whereas European designers are much more likely to style the boat like a mix between a hotel and the best effort in an architecture competition. Of course, people like different things but the more homey style works for me. I want my boat to be my home. Maybe my home away from home but a place where my mind and heart can rest.
Nice tour. I do like the fact that you have a separate cameraman. It adds the charter feel and is a very well constructed infomercial and thank you Scott!
Thank you for the tour of this magnificent vessel! It was incredibly interesting to hear all about what guests can expect, as well as see the beautiful cabins. I was very impressed that the crew have their own chef. I am glad that they are well cared for and their hard work is appreciated. Love from Vermont
Thank you for a very pleasant tour. I like your relaxed style and as a former sailor its also nice to listen to someone with knowledge about what they are showcasing.
Thank you for the tour. The yacht is immense and well outfitted. The wheelchair accessibility is applauded. The crew size of 24 allows every possible service and tip top maintenance. However, I like a more intimate sized yacht with a smaller crew with greater privacy. Every client is different but for me, less is more.
I love that! The decor is a bit dated, but I think it's really classy. They must have to work extremely hard to keep that in tiptop condition. Lovely yacht, Scott seems a lovely bloke as did the chef. It's elegant and stylish, no ikea looking furniture on that!
Thanks Tristan for a nice tour of a BIG M/Y. Almost like a small cruise ship with all the amenities etc. Can we say this is very Americana in build & accommodations.🇨🇦🙏👍
Awesome yacht, that original style gives a cuzy fealing, and it has everything you would need, plus extra. I especially like the balcony's on the master cabin, they are not seen very often, but are a great feature IMO. Very alert chief, concentrating on giving a good tour, but still notice what is going on around the ship. Tristan knew whatever he would say about a creditcard-Captain would be negative, so he toke the safe way with "no coment" ;)
It's a bit different when a captain and expert shows off a yacht than when some journalist does. Good job, Tristan! 👍 A classic yacht. Very beautiful and comfortable, but the ratio of 12 guests to a crew of 24 makes it very expensive. In my opinion, the interior is a bit over the top with the gold-plated door latches, bathroom fittings, etc.
I like that there's paper map navigation and I think boats should have both paper and electronics but paper is king. That wooden trim around the boat requiring constant laqeur would be gone and replaced with some other high quality stainless for low maintenance.
The boat is pure class. I am curious to know what design changes Feadship wouldn't entertain that caused the build to go to Delta. I bet this tour shows the difference between a high end custom build and an off the shelf Sanlorenzo. Both are great boats but also very different.
The one thing I could never understand about Laurel is that there is no bathtub in the master suite. I have never seen a larger yacht like Laurel without one.
Laurel is a pretty boat, but those slanted windows on the bridge is a big no-no for me. Nice tour, at least we got to see the bridge and galley. These charter yachts seem to be turning themselves into floating amusement parks. I don't get it, but to each his own.
You think the BOAT would have turned the system wide music off for all these tours of the boat Tristan better wake up and pay attention The lighting of this video was sketchy at times
StarLink is completely usable in the middle of he Atlantic or Pacific. Your guy did not install it in the best place. Like all antennas, It should be mounted as High as possible, far from any obstructions. This is usually on same level as Radar domes. STAR-LINK satellites are all around you so any obstruction of the sky (90 degrees from vertical axis) will be enough to reduce or block service!
How accurate is the model of Laurel in the main saloon? Specifically, does it have a model of Laurel in the main saloon with a a model of Laurel in it's main saloon. Asking for a friend.
It would be nicer to see Tristen being able to explore the yacht unescorted with the capability of viewing everything, including all the crew quarters, and spaces. Being escorted gives the impression of distrust. Tristen could also do a Q&A video with a senior crew staff person as a separate part of the video. The entire hallway from the outside aft to forward where the lounge/bar area was left as undescribed. I really like this channel, so please do not misunderstand my comment.
I get where you're coming from but I personally don't get any distrust vibes at all... in fact the ease in which he says the charter rate and cost of Starlink for example... no hesitation. I love these tours too!
@@heathwellsNZ I ❤ these videos too, and I would never get to see most of these vessels were it not for the videos. This is not the first time that I have seen escorted recording. I personally would really enjoy being on this vessel, especially since it is docked a mere couple of hours drive away from where I reside.

that was a very subdued "walk through" - not at all inspiring - the first officer was not the right person to do that, he had no enthusiasm, the first officer's nature is a serious one anyway so not surprising, but certainly not right for this

In all the boats I've been on ( I still call my Navy ships boats, get over it) or seen a tour of in person or video you 2 are the first I've seen that mention the fact that the main level salon is hardly ever used in a boat. Such a beautiful space of real estate that is mainly for show, and what a waste considering how limited space always is. The main salon/lounge/dining should all be one great room to tie everyone in. I'm not trying to be separated on a ship with limited space, nor on land with unlimited space. Just keep the ones around you that you actually want to be around lol. Best boat/yacht I was on I will leave the name private but the main lounge/salon, dining, and kitchen all tied in together, the kitchen was made to open to the main area. This was no small boat either, she is over 150' or 45m plus if you prefer.
If I was to buy a yacht, this would be the one. She doesn’t scream ego or flash but is pure CLASS with common sense. Plenty of toys for those who need to be active, yet peaceful spaces that provide a calm environment for meditation. ❤
240 ft is a little over the top if you can only have 12 guests. Don't get me wrong , I like bigger is better !
It is too much for me. Don't get me wrong, it is very nice but I would be lost on it.
@Ralph Owens She can carry more than 12 guests because she is rated as a commercial vessel.

You rarely see full tours of yachts of the caliber ANYWHERE! This is fantastic, thank you!
Delta makes incredible yachts. They work very close with the owners, designers and engineers to build a very lavish and seaworthy ship.
Spectacular yacht. Very impressed with owner for allowing 2 chefs for the customers and 1 chef for the crew only. Great video as ever 👍
That was stunning and firstly thank you of course to Scott! But also, a big thank you to you too!
Great situational awareness by your escort (cable strike). That kind of awareness is worth gold.
